Abstract

Ketersediaan energi sangat penting peranannya bagi kelanjutan kehidupan suatu negara. Pemanfatan energi terbarukan masih relatif kecil. Beberapa hal yang menghambat pengembangan energi terbarukan. Dan salah satu energi terbarukan adalah bahan bakar nabati. Bahan bakar nabati seperti bioetanol merupakan hasil fermentasi. Untuk memperoleh bioetanol dari fermentasi biasanya menggunakan distilasi batch multikomponen. Distilasi batch multikomponen adalah proses pemisahan zat tertentu berdasarkan titik didihnya. Untuk menunjang hal tersebut, maka dilakukan penelitian permodelan distilasi batch multikomponen ethanol dari broth fermentasi. Kemudian validasi dari model matematika yang dibuat dengan hasil penelitian distilasi yang telah dilakukan. Penyelesaian numerik digunakan adalah ODE 45 pada MATLAB yang menggunakan metode Runge-Kutta.Dengan variasi penggunaan reflux ratio, dapat mempengaruhi konsentrasi pada distillat setiap waktu. Sehingga, dapat diketahui waktu yang optimal untuk memperoleh etanol dengan kadar yang diinginkan dalam distilasi batch multikomponen. Hasil sementara antara simulasi dan eksperiment mempunyai kesalahan sebesar 10%. Dari hasil distilat etanol,amly alkohol dan aseton dengan waktu 10,20,30,40,50 dan 60 menit sebesar (90%,89%,88%,86%,84% dan 80% untuk hasil distilat etanol), (0,001, 0,0012, 0,0014, 0,0015, 0,0010 dan 0,0005 untuk hasil amly alkohol) dan (0,001, 0,0007, 0,0005, 0,00051, 0,00051 dan 0,00051 untuk hasil aseton).

Abstract

The purpose of this research has described learning result of physics science skill process byapplying kontextual learning. The subject of this research is 25 students of SMAN 1 PangkalanLesung. Data is collected by giving the applicative process test after finishing the subject. Dataanalysis showed that abortive power is with good category, learning effectiveness can becaregorized in effective, but completeness of students learns is not complete. So, the kontextuallearning is clafified effective for science process skill achievment of second year students at SMAN1 Pangkalan Lesung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Sistem Informasi Akuntasi, E-Commerce, Modal Usaha dan Ekspektasi Pendapatan terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan. Objek penelitian ini merupakan Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan Angkatan 2020-2022 dengan kriteria tertentu. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin, sehingga dapat diperoleh 54 responden dengan alat software SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Sistem Informasi Akuntansi tidak berpengaruh terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan, variabel E-Commerce tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan, variabel Modal usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan, variabel Ekspektasi Pendapatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Pengambilan Keputusan Berwirausaha pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Riau Kepulauan.

Abstract

Background: The demand for electrical energy and dependence on coal energy sources, while the coal combustion process does not burn out, resulting in waste in the form of fly ash. The utilization of fly ash waste in the cement industry can potentially cause environmental impacts in the form of air pollution. Therefore, the concept of sustainability of fly ash waste utilization as an alternative raw material in the cement industry is needed. The objectives of this study are to analyze the potential environmental impacts on the utilization of fly ash waste into cement, analyze the financial benefits for the cement industry, and determine alternative sustainability of fly ash waste utilization based on the concept of clean production. Methods: The research method used is quantitative method with AHP method. Findings: The results showed that particulate concentrations in fly ash waste utilization activities did not exceed quality standards but had the potential to cause environmental impacts with a 24-hour period distribution of 219 µg/m3, while the highest annual period was 67.2 µg/m3. Utilization of fly ash waste can reduce the use of gypsum and trass raw materials by up to 3.2%. The financial benefits received by the cement industry are material cost efficiency of Rp6,052,872,369.02 in 2018 and Rp32,730,142,087.09 in 2022. Conclusion: The concept of clean production as an alternative to the sustainability of fly ash waste utilization in the cement industry of PT ABC is to implement the recycle of particulates captured by DC and EP.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the most frequent cancer caused death among women. An attempt to reduce death cases caused by breast cancer, was to detect cancer cells when it still in early stage. MicroRNA is one of the biomarker for cancer that can be used to detect cancer cell even in its early stage. However, MicroRNA data tends to have thousand types of expression which required a lot of costs if it examined one by one thoroughly. Feature selection method can be used to extract important MicroRNAs that support clasification process between normal people and people with breast cancer. Support Vector Recursive Feature Elimination (SVM-RFE) is one of the feature selection method that can be used to select MicroRNA data. This research aims to produce the best smallest subset that contains selected MicroRNA expressions using the SVM-RFE as feature selection method. This experiment result showed that the best selected subset was able to provide 99% classification accuracy with only 3 MicroRNA expressions, where 2 from 3 selected MicroRNA hold potential as a biomarker of breast cancer.

Abstract

The cement industry is one of the most important industries in the development of a country. However, the production activities of the cement industry also cause significant environmental impacts, one of which is air pollution. One of the by-products of fuel combustion in the cement industry is fly ash, which if not managed properly can pollute the air and the surrounding environment. This research aims to provide an overview of the environmental impacts of using fly ash in the cement industry, especially in relation to air pollution. This research uses the literature review method, which is by collecting and reviewing literature or documents related to the research topic. The data sources used in this research are scientific journals, books, and other related documents. Data analysis in this study was carried out by reviewing and examining literature or documents related to the research topic, then summarizing and compiling the results of the analysis into an overview. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of fly ash in the cement industry has significant environmental impacts, especially related to air pollution. However, there are several technologies and fly ash processing methods that can reduce the environmental impact of cement industry production activities, such as the use of fly ash as raw material for making lightweight concrete or as raw material for the production of other building materials.
