Abstract

Currently, the increase in the number of motorized vehicles is increasingly out of control, for all ages of riders. More and more riders of motorized vehicles among men and women even at this age, teenagers are already using motorized vehicles. This causes problems for motorized road users, namely the increase in traffic accidents, congestion for which it is not clear what causes, and even violations of traffic signs by motorized road users. This is because road users do not pay attention to and ignore traffic rules. In particular, this is most often done by motorized vehicle road users under the age of or teenagers who do not yet have a driving license. Based on these conditions, there is a need for community service regarding the Motorized Vehicle User Guide for driving safety for the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation Students. Sahabat Cendikia Foundation is one of the non-formal educational institutions to help the community obtain formal education certificates (Package B and Package C). Therefore, it is necessary to do dedication so that guidance can be given to Sahabat Cendikia Foundation students to pay attention to driving safety for other road users. Friends of the Cendikia Foundation students participated in this service activity because some of the students there were also minors. It is hoped that with this coaching activity, the Sahabat Cendikia Foundation students understand driving safety. In addition, it is hoped that this training will reduce traffic accidents. This service activity is carried out by providing material on motorised vehicle user manuals for traffic safety and traffic sign regulations.

Abstract

Work-life balance is a significant issue today, especially for women workers, who often experience role conflict. Besides their professional roles, women also have responsibilities at home, making balancing work and life outside the workplace one of their primary challenges. This article aims to analyze scientific publications on work-life balance among female workers using bibliometric analysis to identify research opportunities in the field of engineering. The Scopus database was utilized for data mining, and data analysis was conducted using VOSviewer. A total of 123 documents were identified from the 2019–2024 period, with South Korea leading in publications (15 documents and 63 citations), followed by the United States, which had fewer publications (14 documents) but the highest number of citations (240 citations). The research subject areas were predominantly Medicine (27.8%), with only 4.7% focusing on Engineering. The majority of research subjects were healthcare workers (33%), while only 5% specialized in the industrial sector. The International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health was the most frequently referenced source. Commonly discussed impacts of work-life balance influenced by gender include mental health, job satisfaction, and burnout. However, no studies specifically focus on female workers in the manufacturing industry to examine the effects of work shifts on work-life balance and their implications for occupational health and safety, work accidents, and musculoskeletal pain. Future research should address this gap by applying engineering studies to explore these challenges.

Abstract

Loading and unloading are the processes which are perform at before and afterwelding process. On this processes, there is a fixture-lifting activity from assembly table move to the Welding machine. The lifting activity as well is perform at after welding process; to uninstall the fixture from the machine then move it to assembly table. This process is performed by 2 persons, because the fixture is quiet heavy, 50 Kg with 40 Inches in diameter and 2.5 inches in the thickness. However, the distance from assembly table to the welding machine is 300 cm. Approximately By this condition, based on The Rapid Entire Body Assesment (REBA) Analysis is resulted Final Score 9 and categorized as a High Risk Level Process. As well based on the scoring of Nordic Body Map (NBM) shows result that there is a high potential pain on the nape, shoulders, arms, back, waist and calves, hence than this activity is consider as Not Ergonomic Process for the worker. Based on the condition as describe above, survey been conducted with Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach, which concluded that the loading and unloading process is need a lifting tool or equipment to lift up and move the welding fixture. For this purposes to eliminate this difficulty, proposed to have a Lifting Equipment Design could be a trolley or a lifter.
