Abstract

The gallon water pump used to meet household needs, in general, is a manual pump, with an affordable price, this pump is excellent. However, the use of manual pumps is considered ineffective for water intake in gallons, so development innovation is needed for a more effective design. The purpose of this research is to design a centrifugal electric pump that is designed to facilitate the collection of water in gallons on a scale of household needs. The researcher used the Kano method to design the pump, this method was chosen so that user satisfaction is guaranteed. To get the level of product satisfaction, by distributing questionnaires to 44 respondents with 10 attributes. Analysis to determine the level of satisfaction of centrifugal electric pump products using the End-User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method. The level of satisfaction of centrifugal electric pump products designed with the Kano method states that most of the attributes are in an Attractive condition, meaning that the customer wants the centrifugal electric pump product to be produced immediately. With the proposed design based on human anthropometry, it is expected to be able to increase customer satisfaction.

Abstract

With the policy of learning from home, the role of information technology become more important. The use of technology in online learning can provide new learning experiences for students. There are several online learning application platforms available and the most popular platforms are Zoom Meeting application and Google Meet. In using the online learning platform, usability aspect is one the most important things. Usability is a measure of the quality of the user experience when interacting with the user-operated device application with the perceived expectations. The purpose of this study is to compare usability satisfaction of Google Meet and Zoom Meeting application using Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) and GAP analysis. The Customer Satisfaction Index is measured from the five usability aspects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. Meanwhile, the GAP Analysis is measured based on the perception and expectations of the user of Google Meet and Zoom Meeting application. The result shows that Google Meet has a higher level of usability satisfaction compared to Zoom Meeting application. Google Meet has a usability satisfaction level of 84.29%, meanwhile Zoom Meeting has a usability satisfaction level of 76.67%. The results of GAP analysis on both platforms show that the users made a lot of errors when using Google Meet and find it difficult when using Zoom Meeting application for the first time.

Abstract

The use of mobile phone keypads to exchange messages has become a daily activity at this time. Keypad is one of the most widely used input devices compared to other input devices. When typing on a cell phone, users will usually try to type correctly and quickly. The improvements of mobile phone products include a wide variety of physical designs. Keyboard or keypad is one part that does not escape the development. The keypad on the phone is an arrangement of keys containing numbers, letters of alphabet, punctuation marks and certain symbols that are needed. In general, there are two types of cell phone keypads on the market, namely the alphanumeric keypad on the Multitap ABC Standard keypad and the QWERTY keypad. Each type of keypad has a different arrangement of letters and different methods of use. With the development of variations in keypad designs, this study aims to compare the design of the Multitap ABC Standard keypad with the QWERTY keypad on Xiaomi cellphones in order to find usability problems based on time, error and satisfaction scale. The results showed that the usability of the QWERTY keypad is better than the standard ABC multitap keypad in terms of time and error. Based on the time to complete the task, the users completed the task faster using the QWERTY keypad compared to the Multitap ABC Standard keypad. Based on the error rate in completing the task, the users made less errors using the QWERTY keypad compared to the Multitap ABC Standard keypad. Based on the level of satisfaction in using the keypad type, there is no significant difference between two types of the keypads

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan sektor yang bergerak dibidang jasa. Penggunaan teknologi pada sektor jasa memegang perananan penting dalam memberikan kemudahan dan kecepatan menyelesaian pekerjaan. Pelayanan dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna (user) akan berkorelasi positif terhadap kepuasan pemakainya. Sehingga pihak jasa khususnya universitas perlu mengetahui pengaruh tingkat kepuasan sistem layanan akademik yang mereka gunakan. Secara umum sarana dan prasarana sistem informasi akademik yang ada di lingkungan universitas meliputi learning management system, pembelajaran jarak jauh, kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, bidang administrasi umum, bidang sarana dan prasarana. Apabila ada kualitas layanan sistem informasi akademik sesuai harapan, maka akan menciptakan kepuasan bagi para konsumen. Apabila terjadi sebaliknya maka mahasiswa akan kecewa. Menyadari pentingnya hal ini maka dilakukan pengukuran  kualitas layanan akademik, apakah sesuai dengan keinginan mahasiswa atau belum. Berbagai institusi pendidikan di Indonesia pada umumnya, telah melakukan berbagai upaya peningkatan kualitas sistem informasi akademik. Mulai dari pembangunan infrastruktur teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sesuai kebutuhan, dan  peningkatan  kualitas layanan dengan menerapkan teknologi yang dapat diandalkan. Kualitas layanan yang dimaksudkan adalah sistem pelayanan pembelajaran jarak jauh, learning management system dan kualitas informasi. Menyadari pentingnya hal ini maka perlu dilakukan pengukuran tingkat kepuasan. Metode kano digunakan untuk mengintegrasikan pengukuran tingkat kepuasan dalam setiap atribut. Selain itu metode Kano digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kategori kelemahan dan prioritas perbaikan kinerja atribut. Hasil pengukuran tingkat kepuasan menunjukkan kualitas informasi di semua atribut menunjukan kategori One dimentional, pembelajaran jarak jauh menunjukan 8 kategori attractive dan 2 one dimetional. Sedangkan pada learning management system 8 menunjukan kategori one dimentional dan 2 berkategori must be.

Abstract

The presence of defects is a sign that the level of quality is not good enough. In this paper, we will discuss root cause analysis in the manufacturing process. In addition to analyzing the root of the problem, there are usually conditions called contradictions. Contradiction means a condition in which positive and negative effect simultaneously occur at the same time. Therefore, the Root Conflict Analysis (RCA+) has been adopted to find the root cause of the problem and at the same time identify the contradictions. Implementation of this method is carried out on the drilling process of composite fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). Based on the results, it was found that there are 3 causes of problems in the drilling process, high cutting speed, high feed rate and large point angle. As well as found several contradictions, regarding drilling productivity, tool temperature, thrust force during the process and drill burr.

Abstract

The high demand for certificates has an impact on company operations, so changes need to be made to create time efficiency. The media used is a QR code that is implemented on work equipment using the PDCA plan, do, check, and action cycle using the stopwatch time study method. Where at the Plan stage the identification of the manual method was carried out. Do implements it in stages by designing a QR code. Check, namely measuring the working time of a stopwatch time study on 10 project teams. The action is to use the QR code check. Action is carried out by evaluating and improving the results of the analysis at the check stage. The results showed that the implementation was carried out with 9 certificates placed or labeled on work equipment. Furthermore, the manual method usage time is obtained in the range of 1 to 2 hours to search for one type of certificate. Meanwhile, using the QR, the standard time is obtained in the 1-to 2 minutes range to search for one type of certificate. This proves that time efficiency is created when searching for certificates to speed up company operational activities and shorten the work cycle system. Keywords: QR Code, PDCA, Stopwatch Time Study, Service Company, Efficiency Time ABSTRAK Tingginya permintaan sertfikat kelayakan mesin memberikan dampak kepada operasional perusahaan, sehingga perlu dilakukan perubahan untuk menciptakan efesiensi waktu. Media yang digunakan adalah QR code yang diimplementasikan pada peralatan kerja dengan menggunakan siklus PDCA plan, do, check dan action dengan menggunakan metode pengukuran waktu stopwatch time study. Dimana pada tahap Plan melakukan identifikasi metode manual yang dilakukan. Do melakukan implementasi secara bertahap dengan merancang QR code. Check yaitu melakukan pengukuran waktu kerja stopwatch time study pada 10 tim proyek. Action yaitu menggunakan QR code check. Action dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan dari hasil analisis pada tahap check. Didapatkan hasil, bahwa implementasi dilakukan dengan 9 jenis sertifikat yang diletakan atau diberi label pada peralatan kerja. selanjutnya didapatkan waktu penggunaan metode manual dengan kisaran 1 sampai dengan 2 jam untuk pencarian satu jenis sertifikat. Sedangkan dengan adanya penggunaan QR code didapatkan waktu baku dengan kisaran 1 hingga 2 menit untuk pencarian satu jenis sertifikat. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa terciptnya efesiensi waktu pada pencarian sertifikat sehingga dapat mempercepat kegiatan opersioanal perusahaan dan memperpendek sistem siklus kerja.  Kata kunci:  QR Code, PDCA, Stopwatch Time Study, Jasa Industri Migas, Waktu Efisiensi
