Abstract

Analisis Kesepadanan Makna Dalam Penerjemahan Semimodal Bahasa Inggris Ke Dalam Bahasa Indonesia Pada Novel Eclipse.

Abstract

The development of technology and information cannot be avoided because it is related to the development of the nation and state. The development of technology and information is very influential on the education sector. Traditional teaching habits and teacher apathy in dealing with advances in technology and information have a negative impact on students. This condition was experienced by teachers at SD Negeri Bintara III Bekasi City when carrying out online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The absence of procedures when online learning is applied by schools makes teachers carry out learning only using WhatsApp group media with the assignment method. In fact, teachers should be able to use advances in technology and information to carry out learning in order to be able to facilitate their students to learn. The purpose of this training is to strengthen knowledge about Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) and its application in learning in elementary schools. The training activities were carried out face-to-face at SD Negeri Bintara III Bekasi City for 3 days. The training activities not only provide theory about TPACK, but also provide practice on making TPACK-based learning videos using smartphones.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' critical thinking skills in online tutorials for translation 5 courses. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method using an assessment rubric proposed by Finken and Ennis (1993). The results showed that there were still at least 2 students who were able to demonstrate critical thinking skills in discussions 1,3, and 4 in the online tutorial for the Translation course 5. In discussion 1 only 2 students out of a total of 31 students showed good development in critical thinking skills and in discussion 3 , only 1 out of 26 students have the same development of critical thinking skills. The same thing is also seen in discussion 4, only 2 students out of a total of 27 students have good development. Therefore, critical thinking skills in online tutorials for translation 5 courses still need to be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to compare students’ learning outcomes using the STAD (Student Teams Achievement Divisions) model and the Role-Playing model in Grade III Indonesian language oral reading lessons at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah during the 2024/2025 academic year. A quasi-experimental design with a post-test-only control group was employed, involving two classes as samples: Grade III-A, taught using the STAD model, and Grade III-B, taught using the Role-Playing model, each consisting of 25 students selected through cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed using an independent sample t-test. The results revealed that the mean score of the STAD group was 83.28, while the Role-Playing group achieved a mean score of 78.44. The hypothesis test showed a significant difference between the two groups (tcalculated = 3.09 > ttable = 2.01, α = 0.05), leading to the rejection of H₀ and acceptance of H₁. These findings indicate that the STAD learning model is more effective than the Role-Playing model in enhancing students’ oral reading performance. The implication of this study emphasizes the importance of cooperative learning strategies like STAD in fostering active participation, collaboration, and deeper comprehension in Indonesian language learning.
