Abstract

The huge benefits of exclusive breastfeeding have not been able to increase the number of exclusive breastfeeding coverage in Indonesia. This is due to the low knowledge of pregnant women on the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. Low support from families, communities and health workers, especially breastfeeding counselors, is one of the factors causing the low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding. Mothers need support from those around them for success of exclusive breastfeeding behavior. The role of health workers in health promotion is also needed so that the exclusive breastfeeding program runs optimally. This activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding. The community service method used is assistance to mothers in exclusive breastfeeding with the concept of one student one client. It was carried out in the working area of the Surakarta City Health Office with 30 participants. It begins with counseling mothers about exclusive breastfeeding, observations about maternal assistance in exclusive breastfeeding, and an evaluation of the course of mentoring through filling out a questionnaire about exclusive breastfeeding and breastfeeding practices. The role of health workers in supported exclusive breastfeeding includes providing counseling on IMD and breastfeeding since pregnancy with husband, involving husbands in IMD implementation, posyandu with home visits involving cadres and providing counseling for pregnant women, providing lactation corners, counseling involving all puskesmas officers, distributing leaflets and posters, holding pregnancy classes, and involving cadresto hold Kelompok Pendukung Ibu (KP-Ibu). The failure of exclusive breastfeeding was generally because the mother works so that breastfeeding motivation decreased, family support was low, worried about insufficient breastfeeding, and low knowledge of breastfeeding. There was a relationship between knowledge and breastfeeding practice and it was statistically significant (p=0.004, OR: 25.14, CI95%:0.89-5.56). The role of health workers and cadres in supported exclusive breastfeeding through maternal assistance was quite good, however the failure of exclusive breastfeeding generally came from maternal factors. There was a relationship between knowledge and breastfeeding practice and statistically significant.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan masalah serius yang mempengaruhi segala aspek kehidupan termasuk pada dunia pendidikan. Pemerintah menghimbau agar proses pembelajaran dilakukan dengan metode daring. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan praktik nyata terkait pengembangan metode pembelajaran inovatif pada instansi mitra agar pembelajaran daring berjalan maksimal. Pengembangan metode pembelajaran inovatif sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil pembelajaran, terutama bagi mahasiswa kebidanan. Jika dosen tidak memiliki kemampuan ini maka akan mempengaruhi kualitas proses pembelajaran yang nantinya akan berdampak pada kualitas lulusan. Disisi lain masih banyak dosen yang belum memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan dalam mengembangkan metode pembelajaran inovatif. Kegiatan ini diselenggarakan pada tanggal 24-25 Juli 2021 dengan peserta 30 dosen Prodi DIII Kebidanan Universitas Kusuma Husada. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan memberikan workshop terkait metode pengembangan pembelajaran inovatif, selanjutnya dilakukan praktik langsung pengembangan pembelajaran inovatif. Hasil dari praktik pengembangan metode pembelajaran inovatif akan dilakukan evaluasi oleh fasilitator. Hasil kegiatan ini berupa peningkatan pengetahuan dan teknik terkait metode pengembangan pembelajaran inotavif.

Abstract

Introduction: The existence of communication media and the development of technology, communication, and information that increase rapidly made it easier to spreading pornography content. A survey stated that every year, there are 72 million visitors to a pornography website. Every second, 28.000 internet users see pornography content. Two-third pornography consumers on the internet are men and the rest are women. Group of age 12-17 years old are the biggest pornography consumer on the internet. Narkolema (Drugs Through The Eye) is pornography that was seen by someone that have addictive effect and damage potential just as junkies. The damage that was suffered because of pornography addiction is the damage of the prefrontal cortex (PFC). The prefrontal cortex is functioned as consideration and decision making central and as personality former.Purpose: To give the extension for adolescents about narkolema so they will know about narkolema.Extension Method: Held a lecture for adolescents about narkolema by first held a pretest, then after the extension had done, the posttest was held to know the effect from the given extension.Extension Result: The extension about narkolema for adolescents was held by first held a pretest, then the posttest was held after the extension. There was an increase in the adolescents’ knowledge about narkolema.Conclusion: There was a positive effect of the extension of narkolema toward the adolescents’ knowledge of narkolema.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Pada usia remaja pelajar lebih mementingkan penampilan fisik. Remaja putri termasuk kelompok yang rentan mengalami masalah gizi. Remaja yang masih dalam tahap pertumbuhan terobsesi ingin memiliki penampilan fisik yang menarik dengan melakukan cara yang salah diantaranya melakukan diet ketat, latihan keras dan asupan makan yang buruk sehingga hal ini menjadi penyebab umum masalah gizi pada remaja dan dapat mempengaruhi proses tumbuh kembang.Tujuan penelitian:Untuk mengetahui pola diet remaja, mengetahui status gizi remaja dan untuk menganalisis hubungan pola diet remaja dengan status gizi.Subjek dan Metode penelitian: Jenis penelitian analitik observasional dengan desain penelitian cross sectional yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan pola diet remaja dengan status gizi. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP 18 Surakarta. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah remaja putri di SMP 18 Surakarta .Teknik pencuplikan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 remaja putri. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji statistik Kolmogorov-spirnov.Hasil Penelitian : Mayoritas remaja putri di SMP 18 Surakarta melakukan diet yaitu sebesar 60% (16 responden), serta mayoritas remaja putri di SMP 18 Surakarta mengalami status gizi kurus yaitu sebesar 50% (15 responden). Dari hasil uji statistik uji kolmogorov-spirnov diperoleh nilai p = 0.023 yang berarti terdapat hubungan pola diet remaja dengan status gizi.Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan antara pola diet remaja dengan status gizi

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, has nearly one million mosques, is used for daily and Friday collective prayers, and is thought to be at high risk of being infected with Covid-19. The essence of the problem is that the five daily prayers and Friday prayers once a week have become controversial, physical crowds are at risk of Covid-19. The theory of 'Experiential education' by John Dewey is used to explain social interactions in mosques between imams and makmum, ustadz and people, Muslim leaders and citizens. They exchanged experiences in dealing with Covid-19.. This study aims to explain the role of mosques in increasing knowledge, attitudes, and skills in preventing and overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this study uses a phenomenological approach.. The results of this study can be concluded that first, Friday prayers at the mosque are closed for two weeks. Second, there are three groups of crowds that occur in the mosque environment with different transmission risks between mosques. Third, the protocol  went well because of the results of the education of religious leaders and community leaders. Fourth, ablution is relevant to 3M to prevent the Covid-19. Fifth, the cohesiveness of mosque leaders and the Covid-19 cluster is a lesson for the community at the mosque and in the market. The knowledge and experience of Muslim residents following ustadz and khotib ensures the sustainability of 3M implementation in every village.

Abstract

Background: The outbreak of the corona virus (Covid-19) poses challenges for educational institutions, especially those based on clinical practice skills. E-learning is one of the best solutions for distance learning to protect students and teaching staff from the transmission of the Covid-19 virus. The DIII Midwifery Study Program curriculum consists of 40% theory and 60% practice. The study program manager determines practical learning using learning videos. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the practical e-learning model on K.A.P (Affective Psychomotor Cognitive) in midwifery students in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.Methods: This reseach was a cross-sectional conducted on May-July, 2021. Cognitive assessment used multiple choice questions (MCQ), affective assessment used a self-assessment scale questionnaire that was valid and reliable (0.877> 0.235), Student psychomotor assessment was carried out using Skills checklist assessment sheet.Result: The results showed the significance value of each variable (0.001 <0.05) which means that there is an influence of the practical e-learning model on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of students in the course of maternity midwifery care.Conclusion: There is an effect of practical e-learning model on the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains of the students after the practical of e-learning model

Abstract

Abstrak: Kelahiran bayi memberikan kebahagiaan dalam keluarga, namun periode ini dapat membuat seorang ibu mengalami kelelahan fisik maupun emosionalnya. Perubahan cara hidup setelah kehadiran bayi dapat menyebabkan stress bahkan depresi yang berakibat kesulitan dalam merawat bayi secara optimal. Peran dan dukungan dari suami, keluarga dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk membantu Ibu beradaptasi dengan peran barunya sehingga mencegah terjadinya depresi paska lahir. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk mengoptimalkan keterlibatan masyarakat pada Kelompok Online Cegah Depresi Ibu Paska Lahir (KLEPON GURIH), upaya ini juga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesejahteraan mental ibu paska lahir. Metode kegiatannya diawali dengan pembentukan kelompok online ibu paska lahir, pemberian materi, diskusi dan sosialisasi KLEPON GURIH. Waktu pelaksanaan kegiatan dari bulan Juli hingga Oktober 2022. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh ibu paska lahir yang berjumlah 30 orang. Monitoring dan Evaluasi kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui kuisioner pengetahuan pre dan post test. Hasil kegiatannya didapatkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat terkait pencegahan depresi paska lahir dari 74% menjadi 89%.Abstract: The birth of a baby provides happiness in the family, but this period can make a mother experience physical and emotional exhaustion. Changes in the way of life after the arrival of a baby can cause stress and even depression which results in difficulties in taking care of the baby optimally. The role and support of the husband, family and community is very important to help the mother adapt to her new role so as to prevent postpartum depression. The purpose of this service is to optimize community involvement in the Online Group for Preventing Depression in Post-Birth Mothers (KLEPON GURIH), this effort is also expected to increase the knowledge and mental well-being of post-natal mothers. The activity method begins with the formation of an online post-natal mother group, providing material, discussion and socialization of KLEPON GURIH. The time for carrying out the activity is from July to October 2022. This activity was attended by 30 post-natal mothers. Monitoring and evaluation of this activity is carried out through pre and posttest knowledge questionnaires. The results of its activities found that there was an increase in public knowledge regarding the prevention of postnatal depression from 74% to 89%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Anemia pada remaja di Indonesia di atas 20%, yang masih cukup tinggi. Menstruasi yang dialami anak perempuan pada masa pubertas dan kurangnya konsumsi zat besi oleh remaja meningkatkan resiko terjadinya anemia. Laporan hasil Riskesdas 2018 menyebutkan jumlah remaja putri yang mendapat tablet zat besi sebesar 76,2%. 80,9% dari mereka mendapatkannya di sekolah dan hanya 1,4% remaja yang mengonsumsi tablet zat besi ≥52 butir secara rutin. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan keterlibatan kader kesehatan terhadap kesehatan remaja putri, dan memberikan kemampuan kepada kader kesehatan untuk dapat mengolah biji Nangka (Artocarpus Heterophyllus) menjadi cemilan kaya zat besi. Pengabdian dilakukan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada 30 kader kesehatan. Monitoring dan evaluasi dilakukan dengan menilai kemampuan kader kesehatan saat mengolah biji nangka menggunakan ceklist pembuatan keripik biji Nangka (Artocarpus Heterophyllus). Hasil kegiatan ini didapati bahwa rata-rata nilai kemampuan tim kader kesehatan untuk mengolah biji Nangka (Artocarpus Heterophyllus) menjadi keripik adalah adalah 97,2, dengan nilai terendah 93 dan nilai tertinggi 100.Abstract: Anemia in adolescents in Indonesia is above 20%, which is still quite high. Menstruation experienced by girls at puberty and lack of iron consumption by adolescents increase the risk of anemia. The 2018 Riskesdas results report stated that the number of adolescent girls who received iron tablets was 76.2%. 80.9% of them get it at school and only 1.4% of adolescents take iron tablets of ≥52 grains regularly. The purpose of this service is to increase the involvement of health cadres in the health of adolescent girls, and provide the ability for health cadres to be able to process jackfruit seeds (Artocarpus Heterophyllus) into iron-rich snacks. The service was conducted in the form of training to 30 health cadres. Monitoring and evaluation was carried out by assessing the ability of health cadres when processing jackfruit seeds using a checklist for making jackfruit seed chips (Artocarpus Heterophyllus). The results of this activity found that the average score of the health cadre team's ability to process jackfruit seeds (Artocarpus Heterophyllus) into chips was 97.2, with the lowest score of 93 and the highest score of 100.
