Abstract

The existence of globalization encourages access to worldwide economic development that does not solely rely on one sector, especially in the tourism sector. Saudi Vision 2030, in foreign policy theory, is perceived as Saudi Arabia’s strategy to diversify the country’s economy. The decline in global oil prices has resulted in the swelling of the state deficit. Under the leadership of Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the Saudi Arabian Government undertook efforts to diversify the revenue sector, aiming to reduce the country’s economic dependence on crude oil exports. Through Vision 2030, tourism is prioritized as a significant contributor to state revenue. The development of tourism components and the opening of new tourist destinations are forms of implementation initiated by the government based on the Saudi Vision. This research combines the theory of foreign policy and tourism concepts employed by the government of Saudi Arabia. The qualitative research method uses secondary data from literature studies, including journals, books, official websites, and articles. The results indicate that the realization of Saudi Vision 2030 in the tourism industry is through the development of tourism components in hotels, transportation, and restaurants and the opening of new tourist destinations, specifically in culture and adventure tourism

Abstract

The low activity of students in elementary school is often identified by the lack of active participation, such as students who are passive in listening, reluctant to ask questions, discuss, or do class assignments. This is due to teacher-centered learning methods, abstract/boring materials, and psychological factors such as fear of mistakes and lack of confidence that reduce motivation and focus on learning. This study aims to describe the application of Canva technology-based learning in increasing student activity at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta. The researcher uses a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation methods of learning activities. The results showed that the use of Canva-based learning media significantly increased student activity characterized by increased interaction, participation in discussions, and motivation to learn. Canva Media has proven to be an engaging and interactive learning tool. The conclusion of the study is that the application of Canva technology-based learning can be used as an innovative alternative to improve the quality of learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines the practice of a profit-sharing system between boat owners and fishermen from the perspective of Islamic economic law and its implications for the economic well-being of both parties. This research uses a qualitative approach in the Pangkajene area, a coastal area in South Sulawesi, with a socio-economic perspective and is based on the Sharia Enterprise Theory, which integrates Islamic values into economic analysis, making it transcendental and human-oriented. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The findings indicate that a 50:50 profit-sharing system is implemented between boat owners and fishermen. From an Islamic perspective, this practice falls under the mudharabah contract, which fulfills important elements such as contracting parties, the object of the contract, offer and acceptance, and the profit-sharing ratio. This system is considered fair because it does not disadvantage either party and reflects the principles of justice and cooperation. The application of the mudharabah contract in profit-sharing practices has been shown to improve the welfare of both fishermen and boat owners, while strengthening the role of boat owners as capital providers and drivers of the local economy.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the understanding that basic education plays a crucial role in forming the foundation of students’ personality, character, and life skills. One important character aspect that must be developed from an early age is independence. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The qualitative method was chosen because the aim is to examine comprehensively and in depth the implementation of educational philosophy in real field contexts. Descriptive research seeks to systematically and accurately describe the facts and characteristics of the object under study. Through this approach, researchers are able to understand the meanings, processes, and experiences of the subjects involved in the implementation of the Montessori approach. The research was conducted at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta. The research subjects were focused on students in Phase A, B, and C (equivalent to grades 1 through 6). In addition to students, key informants included the school principal, teachers, and parent representatives. Overall, the study concludes that the implementation of Montessori philosophy at SDIT Cendekia Purwakarta is carried out partially yet consistently and has a significant positive influence on the development of children’s independence in Phases A, B, and C. Although the implementation does not fully adhere to pure Montessori standards, the adaptations made produce relevant, measurable outcomes that align with students’ developmental needs. The integration of Montessori values with Islamic values has been proven to be mutually supportive and not contradictory.
