Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat merupakan salah satu kegiatan Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi. Pengabdian Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan melalui Diklat Perberdayaan Masyarakat dengan memberikan pelatihan ketrampilan/keahlian berupa pelatihan Teknik Las Listrik. Peserta diklat ini berasal dari masyarakat umum dalam rentang usia produktif yang sulit mendapat kesempatan kerja. Peserta diberikan pelatihan secara teknis yang siap untuk dipraktekan/diterapkan dilapangan, baik secara langsung kerja atau berwirausaha. Materi Pelatihan Teknik Las Listrik yang diberikan berupa pengetahuan tentang Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), Material Industri, Peralatan Las Listrik, Peralatan perbengkelan Las Listrik, Menggambar Desain Rancangan, dan Pembuatan karya sesuai gambar rancangan. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, para peserta diharapkan mempunyai kemampuan yang terlatih, terampil dan teruji dalam Teknik pengelasan listrik

Abstract

Water is essential for life, but not all people can access tap water. In fact, many people use ground water, which is not measured its purity, to supply household, places of worship, public facilities, private offices, government offices, and etc. This problem was also observed on Al-Ikhwan Mosque building Jl. Masjid RT 01 RW 08 Rancagong Village, Legok District, Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. In addition, in this place the water installation was not available. Therefore, it was feasible to carry out community service activities in that location regarding to clean water supply and installation. The method of this project were (1) drilling to make wells as clean water supply, (2) Calculating the need for clean water as the basis in determining the capacity and the type of water pump, (3) building water storage (equipped with a floating sensor as a control media turn the pump on or off automatically), and (4) piping to support distribution system of clean water from well to tap. This method was expected to meet Indonesian National Standard of clean water installation system. This project was supported by lecturers / instructors as their responsibility to practice Tridharma of higher education. Cadets/students was also involved in this project so they can demonstrate their knowledge about standard of building facilities in society.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh komunikasi pengawasan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Sekolah Tinggi Penerbangan Indonesia (STPI) Curug - Tangerang melalui metode kuantitatif dengan rumusan masalah assosiatif dengan dua variabel independen yaitu komunikasi dan pengawasan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah para pegawai STPI Curug - Tangerang. Data penelitian diperoleh dari seberan kuesioner terhadap 83 ( delapan puluh tiga) orang responden. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa komunikasi dan pengawasan secara bersama - sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada STPI Curug Tangerang, hal ini diperoleh dari hasil persamaan Y= 8,897 + 0,395X1 +0,249X2. Diperoleh Koefisien Determinasi (R2) sebesar 0,444, artinya kontribusi komunikasi dan pengawasan terhadap kinerja 44,40% dan sisanya 55,60% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainya yang tidak dianalisis lebih lanjut dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Tenaga listrik dalam aktifitas akademik merupakan suatu hal yang sudahmenjadi kebutuhan pokok. Dalam aktifitas akademik listrik memiliki banyakmanfaat tetapi disisi lain memiliki resiko besar yang dapat membahayakan bagipemakainya apabila salah dalam penanganan dan penggunaannya sehingga akanberakibat fatal sampai merenggut nyawa manusia.Pentanahan merupakan salah satu sistem yang terdapat pada instalasi listrik.Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilaitahanan pentanahan pada jaringan listrik tegangan rendah (tegangan jala) untukbangunan yang mendukung kegiatan akademik Sekolah Tinggi PenerbanganIndonesia.Hasil keseluruhan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, menyatakan bahwa nilaitahanan pentanahan dari hasil pengukuran sampel, didapatkan dengan nilaitertinggi 320 ohm, nilai terendah 0,8 ohm, jika dilihat dari hasil pengukuran 80titik sampel, didapatkan 17 titik sampel yang bermasalah dengan variasipermasalahan yang disebabkan karena usia pakai dan faktor lingkungan, tindaklanjut pada nilai tahanan pentanahan yang lebih besar dari 10 ohm memerlukanpenangan berupa perbaikan agar dapat memperkecil peluang terjadinya bahayasengat listrik pada pengguna.

Abstract

This Community Service Activity was designed to improve teachers’ scientific writing ability as their compulsory professional skills which has been stated in the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform Act number 16 of 2009 concerning Teacher Function and Credit Scores. Publishing scientific article becomes one of the required elements and sub-elements of teacher activities to be assessed as credit scores. Hence, the teachers needed the training to write scientific papers as a requirement for their promotion. The training applied a Participatory Learning approach that engaged lecture, practice, and Evaluation. The participants of the training were 30 teachers of MAN 3 Kulonprogo. They were given a lesson to collect articles as references using the bibliometric application Publish or Perish (POP). The evaluation of this Community Service Activity showed that the knowledge value after the training was 2.221 points higher than before training. The paired T-Test sample test worth 0.048 implied that this PKM activity has influenced MAN 3 Kulonprogo Yogyakarta teachers’ skills, especially in improving the teachers’ ability in finding recommended articles.

Abstract

 AbstrakPoliteknik Penerbangan Indonesia Curug (PPI Curug) berlangganan daya dari PLN sebesar 3 Mega Watt. Sejak awal sistem kelistrikan di Kampus PPI Curug diimplementasikan, belum pernah dilakukan penyesuaian-penyesuaian. Penambahan-penambahan sistem distribusi baru tidak melalui perencanaan yang matang, hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan data bahwa sampai saat ini masih ada bangunan di PPI Curug yang disuplai tegangan 110 V per phase. Upgrade sistem kelistrikan pada beberapa bangunan yang disuplai tegangan 110 V per fase pernah dilakukan secara perlahan-lahan melalui mekanisme penyesuaian instalasi listrik pada bangunan tersebut, dan belum menyentuh pada sistem distribusinya. Jumlah trafo daya yang banyak ternyata tidak sebanding dengan suplai daya yang ditanggung oleh masing-masing trafo, bahkan secara keseluruhan tidak ada trafo yang terbebani lebih dari 40% dari beban nominalnya. ( Salsa, 2019) Pada sisi lain jumlah tagihan langganan daya listrik yang dibayar oleh PPI Curug dari tahun ke tahun mengalami peningkatan.Kata Kunci: Daya, Distribusi Tagihan, Trafo AbstractIndonesian Aviation Polytechnic of Curug (PPI Curug) uses power from PLN of 3 Mega Watts. This study aims to determine whether the electricity distribution system used at PPI Curug is currently effective and efficient and to determine an effective and efficient electricity distribution system based on the characteristics of the area and type of load at PPI Curug. The research method used is an evaluative qualitative method which will describe the condition of the distribution system and installation at PPI Curug, then evaluate it based on existing standards. The differences that exist between the real conditions in the field and the existing standards will be used as conclusions and suggestions for improvements. The results showed that the percentage value of the efficiency of all transformers showed a value of 95% so that the efficiency of the transformer at PPI Curug was categorized as good, but the condition that there was still a large amount of unused power needed to anticipate the use of electrical power beyond the requirement.

Abstract

Based on Minister of State Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 16 of 2009 concerning Functional Positions of Teachers and Their Credit Scores, the publication of scientific papers is one of the requirements for promotion for a teacher. Based on observations, teachers at MAN 3 Kulonprogo still need training on how to publish scientific papers. The publication of scientific work can be recognized as a requirement if the publication is recorded on a scientific work database such as the Google Schoolar and Science and Technology Index (SINTA). For this reason, teachers need to receive training to increase their knowledge of the benefits of indexing scientific journals. The strategy applied in this community service activity is the use of online lectures, practice questions, and questions and answers which are carried out through the Zoom Meeting program. After receiving the training, the knowledge value of the teachers participating in the training increased by 2.221 compared to before they were given material on Google Schoolar and the SINTA Index. In addition, the results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a sig value of 0.048 and less than 0.05 (alpha 5%) indicating that this PKM activity had an impact on the teachers of MAN 3 Kulonprogo Yogyakarta, especially in terms of increasing their capacity to operate the Google Schoolar application and Science and Technology Index (SINTA) as a scientific publication indexation database.
