Abstract

The schedule for each course should be arranged such that the course taken by the same student or involving the same lecturer are not scheduled on the same day and time. This is to avoid conflicting schedules for students and lecturers. In the odd semester academic year 2021/2022, there were 23 courses scheduled at the study program of Mathematics, Universitas Jambi. The students in semesters 1 and 5 were divided into 2 classes, respectively, due to a large number of students in that semester. Therefore, the arrangement of the course schedule was getting more complicated. This research aimed to arrange the course schedule so that there is no clash by using the graph coloring approach. This research was classified as case study research and applied the descriptive method. The arrangement of the course schedule began with modeling the problem in the form of a graph and then using the Welch Powell algorithm to color the vertices in the graph. The graph consists of 36 vertices and 215 edges. By applying the Welch-Powell algorithm, the chromatic number obtained was 10, which means there are 10 optimum sessions or 10 minimum sessions of the course schedule in the odd semester in the Mathematics study program Universitas Jambi. Based on this result, the grouping of courses can be obtained that can be scheduled on the same day and at the same time.

Abstract

Abstract

Covid-19 which has hit various countries in the world has become a scary thing for people to do activities outside the home. So that to carry out community activities, they must follow the rules of the health protocol that have been set, such as wearing masks, washing hands and keeping a distance. Covid-19 cases that occur can be spread through interactions between infected people. The interaction between communities is not only carried out in each region, but can be carried out between provinces within a region. The extent of interaction between people at this time can lead to the easy spread of Covid-19 cases. So that the number of COVID-19 cases can appear in several areas. The existence of a relationship between several predictor variables that affect the response variable in the form of count data can be referred to as Poisson regression. The dominant factors that caused the large number of Covid-19 sufferers on the island of Sumatra were the population, poverty level, income, regional temperature, compliance with wearing masks and compliance with maintaining distance. Abstract

This study aims to confirm the effectiveness of implementing the project-based learning (PjBL) model. The results of this study show that applying the PjBL model to the optimization method course has efficacy in terms of positive responses to learning participation according to the outcomes that need to be met at each meeting increase. As many as 100% of student studies show that learning a musical instrument in the form of materials and task plans can stimulate learning and curiosity in students. Additionally, 98% of students said they were delighted with the project assignments, and 2% said they were burdened with their tasks. Ninety percent of students said group work helped them complete a particular project, and 5% of students said they disagreed with their group assignments. In addition to the questionnaire, the effectiveness of implementing the PjBL model can be seen from the written exam results and the given project assignments. These are cumulative to the final value of the optimization technique course. That means 71% of students get an A. 17% A- and 10% B+. The value indicates that the optimization techniques course is very successful, and no student fails while working with the PJBL model

Abstract

Project-based learning is carried out for computer programming courses. In this lesson, students are expected to have skills in recognizing, constructing, and creating programs from a problem using a programming language. This is a research and development (R&D) that consist of team based project scheme stage, development stage, implementation stage, and final or evaluation stage. When making a computer program on a problem, students must be able to identify the required input, process, and output. Then the information is constructed in an algorithm which is then made into a computer program. Its implementation there are schemes that have been implemented, namely: the preparation stage, and the project work activity process, which includes; forming groups, case studies, gathering information on project-based activities, and producing documentation and portfolios of project implementation and evaluation. This research also produces products in the form of graduate learning outcomes (CPL), Syllabus and Lecture Contracts, Semester Learning Plans (RPS), Student Project Task Plans (RTM) or Student Project Worksheets (LKM), Learning Outcomes Assessment Sheets (LPHB) in accordance with project-based learning model (Project Based Learning). Abstract

Lecturer is a profession that has the obligations of the Tridharma of Higher Education. Tridharma includes teaching, research and community service. Each tridharma element must be properly measured as the performance of a lecturer. Lecturer performance in research can be assessed from the quality of the output. The outputs of lecturer research activities are required to be published so that they can be known and become a public reference. Thus, published research results must be properly presented. Problems were found in analyzing the data by the lecturers of the Health Polytechnic of the Jambi Ministry of Health when carrying out the research. So far, data analysis has been limited to analysis of variance (ANOVA). The drawback in using analysis of variance alone in research is that errors will appear in drawing conclusions. Therefore, to overcome these problems, regression analysis training was held to improve the quality of lecturer research at the Jambi Ministry of Health Polytechnic as a form of dedication by lecturers from Jambi University. The activities carried out were in the form of workshops and practice of regression analysis for health cases using Minitab and SPSS software, besides that, interpretation of the results was also carried out. The community service activities carried out were carried out according to the plan, then this activity received a good response from the lecturers at the Jambi Health Polytechnic. This training activity also provides opportunities for communication and collaboration between lecturers from different fields and agencies. Abstract

Kegiatan pemasaran pinjaman BRI cabang Kuala Tungkal dirasakan belum terlalu efisien.

Abstract

Nomor Pokok Wajib Pajak (NPWP) is the 20 distinct code characteristics that are confidential only to the taxpayer when it comes to making tax transactions. The many tax payers who use NPWP others in their business activities make NPWP a very important aspect of maintaining confidentiality and the authenticity of their data. Therefore, solutions are needed that can be used to make the necessary information secure. Cryptography involves the secret science of code writing using certain mathematical models. The study discusses NPWP encryption using a combination algorithm One Time Pad (OTP) and an operation Exclusive-OR (XOR). The encryption process involves generating random numbers for an OTP algorithm, after which it is followed by an XOR operation. The key on XOR encryption is generated from an algorithm generating random numbers Blum Blum Shub. Encryption keys generated as much as the number of plaquic characters. The encryption keys used by each character would vary and not occur again. Therefore, ciphertext results from an encrypted process using an OTP algorithm and an XOR operation more complicated and more difficult to decipher by crypts.
