Abstract

The phenomenon of the development of heliport construction in Greater Tangerang is an opportunity for the local government and is part of one of the functions of the Department of Transportation that needs to be optimized, through Community Service activities this time the Diploma III Study Program of Aeronautical Information at the Indonesian Aviation Polytechnic Curug held a sharing session regarding the importance of understanding technical matters. and administrative related to heliport construction recommendations. The purpose of this activity is a sharing session with officials and personnel of the Tangerang Regency Transportation Service regarding the heliport development process between the local government authorities and the regulators who are responsible for the technical aspects of flight safety. The method of activity is socialization and sharing of joint policies regarding heliport development. The Director-General of Civil Aviation is a technical partner related to aviation safety aspects that need to have collaborated with local government authorities related to areas and Building Construction Permits (IMB). Clarity about the recommendation process for heliport development in an area will encourage investors or development initiators which of course are expected to have a direct or indirect impact on the development and welfare of the local community.

Abstract

Not a few graduates from the Dirghantara Aviation Vocational School and Yappika Legok Vocational School who choose to continue their education at PPI Curug, but only a few graduates choose to major in Air Traffic Control. Due to the lack of interest in the graduates of the Dirghantara Aviation Vocational School and the Yappika Legok Vocational School, it is deemed necessary to have activities that can build interest in the Air Traffic Control major, namely through Community Service activities. The method used is face-to-face socialization at the PPI Curug Aviation Safety Building which is carried out in accordance with health protocols. The results of the service obtained are that it is hoped that students from the Vocational School know more about air traffic control and can spread knowledge to their friends so that students who have interest and curiosity able to understand more deeply the purpose of air traffic control. routinely either in the same location or in different locations with different target communities by other study programs. Socialization of professions in the field of aviation and study programs at PPI Curug to the public can be carried out with a wider scope nationally by collaborating with the Education Office online/video conference. Tidak sedikit lulusan dari SMK Penerbangan Dirghantara dan SMK Yappika Legok yang memilih untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya di PPI Curug, namun hanya sedikit yang memilih jurusan Pemanduan Lalu Lintas Udara. Dikarenakan kurangnya minat lulusan SMK Penerbangan Dirghantara dan SMK Yappika Legok tersebut, maka dirasa perlu adanya kegiatan yang dapat menumbuhkan minat terhadap jurusan Pemanduan Lalu Lintas Udara yaitu melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi secara tatap muka di Gedung Keselamatan Penerbangan PPI Curug yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan protokol kesehatan. Hasil pengabdian yang didapatkan adalah diharapkan pelajar dari SMK tersebut dapat lebih mengenal mengenai pemanduan lalu lintas udara dan dapat menyebarkan ilmu terhadap temannya sehingga muncullah pelajar yang memiliki minat dan keingintahuan untuk dapat memahami lebih dalam maksud dari pemanduan lalu lintas udara.kegiatan pengabdian seperti ini dapat dilakukan secara rutin baik di lokasi yang sama maupun di lokasi berbeda dengan sasaran masyarakat yang berbeda oleh program studi lainnya. Sosialisasi mengenai profesi di bidang penerbangan dan program studi di PPI Curug kepada masyarakat dapat dilakukan dengan cakupan yang lebih luas lagi secara nasional dengan bekerja sama dengan Dinas Pendidikan secara daring/video conference.

Abstract

All Air Traffic Controller personnel have an obligation to maintain their competence, one of which is by participating in Refresher Training at least once every 3 (three) years, the problem that is that not all Air Traffic Controller personnel from the Indonesian Air Force get the opportunity to take part in Refresher Training. PKM for PPI Curug lecturers through Refresher Training Aerodrome Control Tower Training are carried out offline or face to face. The result is that this refreshing training can provide knowledge and competence for ATC personnel from the Indonesian Air Force to continue to be the leading pioneers in maintaining aviation safety in Indonesia

Abstract

Pengertian drone sangat beragam, namun merujuk pada beberapa literatur, drone diartikan sebagai sebuah mesin terbang yang berfungsi dengan kendali jarak jauh oleh pilot atau mampu mengendalikan dirinya sendiri yang dioperasikan oleh operator, menggunakan hukum aerodinamika untuk mengangkat dirinya, bisa digunakan kembali dan mampu membawa muatan baik senjata maupun muatan lainnya. Akhir-akhir ini drone telah digunakan untuk pelayanan delivery barang, bahkan bulan Oktober 2021 telah dilakukan percobaan drone taxi di Bali Indonesia, artinya drone berpenumpang untuk melayani model transportasi baru untuk mengangkut penumpang dari satu titik ke titik lain untuk keperluan transportasi. Abstract

Kesadaran akan keselamatan dan keamanan di sekitar Bandar Udara Internasional Minangkabau Padang yang masih rendah berpotensi menimbulkan risiko insiden dan pelanggaran keamanan yang dapat membahayakan penumpang, karyawan, dan fasilitas bandara. Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran melalui pelatihan Safety and Security Awareness yang komprehensif. Materi pelatihan mencakup pemahaman tentang bahaya layang-layang, drone, dan laser serta keamanan siber dan ancaman bom, yang disampaikan melalui serangkaian sesi presentasi, diskusi, dan demonstrasi praktis guna memastikan pemahaman yang mendalam oleh peserta. Dengan pelatihan ini, diharapkan kesadaran dan pemahaman akan protokol keselamatan dan keamanan penerbangan akan meningkat secara signifikan, sehingga mampu mengurangi risiko insiden dan melindungi fasilitas bandara. Dengan demikian, tingkat keamanan dan kelancaran operasional di Bandara Internasional Minangkabau Padang dapat ditingkatkan, menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih aman dan terjamin bagi penumpang, karyawan, dan masyarakat umum.

Abstract

Pelayanan Informasi Aeronautika (AIS) adalah sistem yang memberikan informasi penting untuk keperluan penerbangan, melibatkan aspek-aspek seperti kondisi bandara, rute penerbangan, pemeliharaan fasilitas, dan lainnya. Penerbitan Notice to Airmen (Notam), Ashtam, Snowtam merupakan bagian integral dari AIS, memberikan informasi resmi tentang perubahan fasilitas, pemeliharaan, dan navigasi. yang memberikan informasi mengenai perubahan aktifitas gunung berapi, erupsi dan awan debu gunung berapi yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap pengoperasian pesawat udara. memberikan laporan kondisi permukaan yang memberitahukan ada atau berhentinya kondisi berbahaya akibat salju, es, lumpur, embun beku, genangan air atau air yang terkait dengan salju, lumpur, es atau embun beku di area pergerakan. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dimaksudkan untuk memberikan penyegaran ilmu Notam,  Ashtam dan Snowtam kepada personel Air Traffic Services (ATS) di Lanud Atang Sendjaja Bogor, dengan tujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan keselamatan penerbangan, mengenai perubahan fasilitas, pemeliharaan dan navigasi serta aturan-aturan terbaru  yang berlaku untuk kepentingan  pelayanan Aeronautika Information Service.

Abstract

Safety Management Systems (SMS) are formally required across aviation training organizations; however, institutions holding multiple operational approvals frequently encounter difficulties in translating regulatory requirements into coherent and measurable safety performance indicators and targets. In practice, safety performance monitoring is often fragmented, approval-specific, and insufficiently aligned with a performance-based oversight philosophy. This study addresses this gap by examining how safety indicators and targets can be systematically mapped within a unified SMS framework for multi-approval aviation training organizations. This research adopted a qualitative design-based approach, combining document analysis, internal stakeholder interviews, comparative benchmarking with peer training organizations, and focus group discussions involving regulators, operators, and safety managers. Data triangulation was applied to ensure consistency and analytical validity throughout the framework development process. The results demonstrate that safety performance expectations differ substantially across approvals due to distinct operational risk characteristics. Nevertheless, these differences can be integrated through a common safety assurance structure without compromising regulatory specificity. The study identifies approval-specific safety performance indicators and targets for pilot training, aircraft maintenance, and maintenance training activities, and shows that an integrated performance-based mapping improves safety oversight, strengthens compliance mechanisms, and enhances organizational accountability. From a theoretical perspective, this study extends performance-based safety management literature by situating safety performance measurement within a multi-approval governance context. Practically, it offers aviation training organizations and regulators a structured and adaptable framework for harmonizing safety performance monitoring across approvals. The study contributes a transferable model that supports resilient and performance-oriented SMS implementation in complex aviation training environments.
