Abstract

Sistem penggerak yang terdapat pada instrumentasi medis banyak sekali contohnya, salah satunya adalah sistem penggerak pada meja radiologi. Meja radiologi tidak seperti meja pada umumnya tetapi memiliki fungsi tertentu dimana meja radiologi dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem penggerak pada alat simulasi meja radiologi yang dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting. Sistem yang dirancang dan dibuat berbahan kayu lapis dan sistem penggeraknya menggunakan motor DC, untuk dimensi yang akan dibuat berdimensi lebar empat puluh centimeter, panjang enampuluh centimeter dan tinggi empatpuluh centimeter. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat dipelajari model sistem penggerak yang yang mudah untuk dikontrol teteapi masih memiliki fungsi yang sama. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini akan dirancang dan dibuat sistem penggerak pergerakan meja radiologi yang dapat digerakan secara sliding dan tilting. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari proses penelitian ini adalah publikasi jurnal nasional terakreditasi bidang teknologi kesehatan dan sistem kontrol meja pasien radiologi fluoroscopy.

Abstract

Leadership style is a process in which a person influences other people or a group in an effort to achieve certain predetermined goals. By applying the right leadership style, a leader can motivate his employees to work optimally, so that employee performance can be better. Leadership style is a model or strategy for leading an organization. This research aims to determine the influence of leadership style on the performance of employees of PT. Pantja Tunggal Knitting Mill Semarang. Good employee performance is expected to trigger work enthusiasm towards the Company's vision and mission. The research method used is quantitative research using a simple linear regression method. The sample in this study consisted of 50 respondents using the census method. Data collection uses a questionnaire and data processing uses the SPSS Satistics Version 24.0 analysis tool. Leadership styles have advantages and disadvantages, depending on how a leader maximizes all the potential strengths of an employee. A successful leadership style is a leadership style that is based on conscience, norms, ethics, freedom, giving trust, supervision, ready to accept criticism, constructive suggestions, firm and respecting creativity, innovation and motivation. This will have an impact on improving performance, increasing professional competence and competency. The leadership style played by PT Pantja Tunggal Knitting Mill Semarang has a significant impact on employee performance.

Abstract

This study examined the effect of work discipline on employee performance and satisfaction with employee performance at PT Kamaraya Land Semarang. The research design used is an explanatory study in order to understand a phenomenon to be researched, and the population and sample in this research are all employees of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang, totaling 45 respondents using a questionnaire for collection, which was processed using SPSS 21.00 for windows. Discipline has a negative effect on the performance of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang employees and job satisfaction has a positive effect on the performance of PT Kamaraya Land Semarang employees.

Abstract

Risiko usaha merupakan bagian dari kehidupan suatu usaha dan seseorang yang menjalankan usaha pasti menjumpai berbagai jenis risiko yang biasa berkonotasi negatif yang dapat merugikan usaha yang dijalankan, jika tidak segera diantisipasi sejak awal akan membahayakan usaha jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Risiko selalu berkaitan dengan kemungkinan keadaan yang dapat mengancam pencapaian target bisnis yang telah ditetapkan. Dengan keadaan risiko yang penuh dengan ketidakpastian akan menggangu pencapaian bisnis yang ditetapkan, maka sebuah risiko harus dikelola dengan baik melalui manajemen risiko yang profesional. Para pelaku usaha UMKM di Taman Setiabudi Banyumanik Semarang Jawa Tengah sebagai salah satu obyek dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini dan keberadaan industri kecil yang semakin kompetitif yang penuh dengan persaingan sudah seharusnya memperhatikan kemampuan pengelolaan resiko yang baik. Salah satu indikator pengeloan risiko yang baik adalah pelaku usaha mampu menerapakan sistem pengeloan risiko secara resmi dalam hal ini semua level manajemen, kegiatan pengelolaan risiko harus terintegrasi dengan semua kegiatan yang ada diperusahaan dan manajemen risiko harus kaji secara komperhensif.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan bekerja sama dengan Madrasah Aliyah di Mijen Kota Semarang untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam perilaku organisasi dan penelitian kuantitatif. Dalam konteks Madrasah Aliyah di Mijen Kota Semarang, banyak guru yang belum memiliki pengetahuan yang memadai dalam hal tersebut. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru di Madrasah Aliyah di Mijen Kota Semarang dalam mengoptimalkan perilaku organisasi yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan sumber daya manusia dan melakukan penelitian kuantitatif pada variabel perilaku organisasi. Melalui pelatihan yang dilakukan di lokasi Madrasah Aliyah di Mijen Kota Semarang, para guru diberikan modul pelatihan yang mencakup pemahaman perilaku organisasi dan pelatihan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan yang melibatkan 12 peserta, dengan fokus pada peningkatan kemampuan dalam penelitian kuantitatif dan pengolahan data menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Peserta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi, aktif berpartisipasi, dan mampu mengaitkan konsep-konsep yang diajarkan dengan situasi nyata. Umpan balik dari peserta menunjukkan kepuasan dan motivasi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mereka tentang perilaku organisasi dan penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian ini berhasil memberikan manfaat kepada guru-guru Madrasah Aliyah di Mijen Kota Semarang, membantu mereka dalam mengoptimalkan perilaku organisasi dan penelitian kuantitatif.

Abstract

Burnout has become an increasingly prevalent issue among employees facing high work demands, often manifesting as emotional exhaustion, cynicism, and declining job performance. This study aims to explore the impact of job characteristics on burnout, emphasizing the mediating role of work engagement. The research examines explicitly Indonesian migrant workers in Taiwan, a group that frequently encounters unique occupational challenges and stressors. A quantitative method was adopted, utilizing a survey method with 139 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were gathered through structured questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis to assess the interrelationships among key variables. The results reveal that positive job characteristics strengthen work engagement, including autonomy, task significance, job variety, and feedback. Moreover, work engagement is identified as a significant mediator, illustrating that employees who experience favorable job conditions tend to exhibit higher levels of engagement, which in turn mitigates burnout. The findings of this study underscore the importance of strategic job design in promoting employee well-being, particularly for migrant workers who are more vulnerable to excessive work pressures. By fostering supportive job characteristics, organizations can enhance engagement levels and create a work environment that minimizes burnout.

Abstract

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and climate change are major global public health challenges, with growing evidence indicating interconnected relationships. This review explores the multifaceted links between climate change and AMR, focusing on how rising temperatures influence bacterial resistance mechanisms, alter pathogen distribution patterns, and affect environmental reservoirs of resistance genes. Evidence synthesized in this review indicates that rising temperatures correlate with increased AMR rates across multiple regions, with each 1°C temperature increase linked to higher resistance prevalence. Climate change affects environmental transmission dynamics via soil ecosystems, aquatic environments, and cryosphere degradation, which can release long-dormant resistance determinants from permafrost and glaciers. Rising temperatures facilitate the geographic spread of resistant pathogens, as observed in Vibrio species expanding to higher latitudes and the emergence of Candida auris as a clinically significant pathogen from environmental sources. Wildlife and livestock act as potential reservoirs, while climate-driven habitat changes increase human-animal interactions that may facilitate transmission. The bidirectional relationship between these challenges—where rising temperatures contribute to AMR spread and resistant infections may hinder climate resilience—requires integrated One Health approaches. Strategies proposed include enhanced surveillance, climate-informed antimicrobial stewardship, and ecosystem-based interventions to address these interconnected issues. Importantly, integrating climate-informed health policies that align climate adaptation with AMR control should be prioritized globally to safeguard antimicrobial efficacy amid accelerating environmental changes.
