Abstract

Forest fires in Sumatra lead to a very extreme climate changes around the earth, so there would still be a difficult job for atmosphere researchers. This research was conducted to know the weather conditions by determining the condition of Water Vapor (WV) on the island of Sumatra. Monitoring the condition of WV can be done by using remote sensing techniques, by processing the image satellite data namely Terra Modis (Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer). Data calculation condition WV, as one of the parameters of dynamic atmosphere. The data comes from Terra Modis satellite image, the data on Canal 2, 5, 17, 18 and 19 with a wavelength range; 0,865μm, 1.24 μm, 0.905 μm, 0.936 μm and 0,940 μm. From these results obtained from the average value of Water Vapor before and after fires in 2012. Water Vapor taken from TERRA MODIS satellite imagery (y) with a correction factor of 0.9865. Although the correlation (r) between Water Vapor from MODIS data is high, it can be seen that between Water Vapor in 2012 ranged between 3-8 cm. 82%, however only about 68% of Water Vapor MODIS diversity that can be presented by the equation model to approach the actual value of Water Vapor. With these data will greatly affect the weather cycle in Indonesia.

The results of student learning in the Informatics Engineering Program in the Discrete Mathematics course showed unsatisfactory results. there were 40 students who took part in the lecture. Students who get D and E scores are 18 people. the value of students who do not pass reaches 45%. In addition, student activities during the course of learning are very passive. Students only receive material delivered by lecturers and are not actively involved in learning. The problem formulation in this study is how the learning outcomes and learning activities of students are taught using the cooperative learning model type Group Investigation and conventional learning models in Discrete Mathematics courses in the Informatics Engineering Study Program in South Aceh Polytechnic?. The purpose of this study was to find out the learning outcomes and student activities while learning using the Group Investigation model. This type of research is a pure experiment with random design, pre-test, post-test. Research procedures go through several stages, namely initial observation, preparation, implementation, evaluation, and final results. The research subjects were Informatics Engineering students of South Aceh Polytechnic Semester II consist of two group, namely classes 2A and 2B. The data in this study is the test value on sequence and number series materials; and the observation of student activities during the learning process. Data collection techniques used in this study were test questions and student activity observation sheets. The analysis technique used were t-test statistical data and percentage formula. The results of the final test data analysis in both the experimental class (2A) and the control class (2B) using the t-test of two parties at a significant level α = 0.05 were obtained and . So the relationship obtained or . It can be concluded that student learning outcomes with cooperative learning model Group Investigation type are better than learning without using cooperative learning model Group Investigation type (conventional model) in Discrete Mathematics courses especially in Sequence and Series sub material in Informatics Engineering Study Program South Aceh Polytechnic. The average percentage of student activity during the three meetings was 75.40% and was in the very active category.

Abstract

The handicraft industry is one of the industrial sectors that provides a major contribution to the community's economy. Creative industries have 14 sectors according to the provisions of the KBLI (Indonesian Business Field Book Classification). This research was conducted in the Kluet Sub-district of South Aceh by mapping the creative industries in the Kluet Sub-district of South Aceh on the economic impact of the community which is influenced by 4 indicators namely labor, capital, total production and income. South Aceh Kluet Subdistrict is dominated by one sector, namely the Used Tires Rubber craft sector. To determine the development and influence of the creative industry on the economy, productivity is measured by making a ratio between effectiveness (output) and efficiency (input). The results of the assessment of each indicator by comparing 2018 and 2019. There is an increase from the previous year, meaning that the greater the value of productivity, the better the achievement target. Productivity measurement of the results obtained is based on labor indicators in 2018 obtained capital value in 2018 gained Rp1.4 and in 2019 amounted to Rp 1.9. There is an increase from the previous year, meaning that the greater the value of productivity, the better the achievement target. Productivity measurement results obtained are based on labor indicators in 2018 obtained productivity values of 3 units / person in 2019 amounted to 5 units / person, the above results show an increase from 2018 to 2019. Abstract

A smoked barracuda fish product smoking device with closed circulation using a temperature monitoring system and smoke concentration based on Arduino Uno has been created. The design of the cold smoking device is divided into three parts, namely the combustion area, the smoke pipe, and the smoking chamber. Smoke drift of (25.53%-32.45)%. The average length of the fish was 16.7 cm and the average weight of the barracuda fish was 192.3 grams. 10 barracuda fish were put into the smoking room. The lowest water content value for smoked barracuda fish, namely 25.53%, occurred at a smoking time of 6 hours and the highest water content for smoked barracuda fish, namely 32.45%, occurred at a smoking time of 3 hours. The efficiency of the time needed to smoke mackerel on the water content was 6 hours compared to a smoking time of 3 hours. This means that the longer the smoking, the lower the water content value in smoked mackerel.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is a major global health concern and remains one of the deadliest infectious diseases, particularly in developing countries. Early and accurate diagnosis is crucial to initiate timely treatment, prevent complications, and reduce transmission rates. Conventional diagnostic methods, such as sputum tests and laboratory cultures, are often time-consuming and require specialized resources. Therefore, there is a growing need for automated, efficient, and accurate computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems. This study proposes a lightweight Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture to classify chest X-ray images into TB and normal categories. The model is trained using the publicly available Shenzhen chest X-ray dataset, with three training durations: 10, 25, and 50 epochs. Although the model trained for 25 epochs achieved a slightly higher accuracy (86.36%) compared to the 10 epochs model (85.61%), the latter is considered more optimal due to its better balance between performance and efficiency. Specifically, the 10 epochs model produced high precision (92.86%) and a competitive F1-score (84.27%) while requiring significantly less training time and computational resources. Moreover, it maintained stable validation performance without signs of overfitting. In contrast, models trained for longer durations showed diminishing returns or performance degradation, particularly at 50 epochs. These results indicate that a shorter training cycle, when coupled with appropriate architectural design and regularization, can yield a robust and efficient classification model. This approach is particularly beneficial for deployment in resource-constrained environments, where rapid and reliable TB screening using chest X-ray images is critically needed.
