Abstract

Every asset in the operation of certain services, transportation or services will experience a change in each period of time. Replacement is made on an asset that is damaged, operating costs are too high, or a change in technology makes an equipment unusable. CV. X is a company engaged in providing services for transportation fleets, one of which is dump trucks. Today, companies are often faced with complex replacement problems and only apply the depreciation method to determine the life of their equipment. This study aims to propose determining the age of dump trucks with optimal replacement intervals and to find out the hourly usage costs incurred by the company at the optimal replacement age. This method uses the hourly cost as the basis for determining the optimal replacement life. The research data is in the form of secondary company data consisting of maintenance data such as vehicle purchase price data, fuel consumption, lubricant consumption, labor wages, annual operating hours, productivity, rental rate, interest rate value, and income tax rate. The parameters are in 1000 hour intervals. The optimal replacement life for dump trucks is in the interval of 30,000 hours – 40,000 hours or 12-16 years. The hourly usage cost at the optimal replacement life interval with the productivity approach is $159.74 and the hourly usage cost with the rental rate approach is $104.64.

Abstract

Service quality assessment is influenced by the perceptions and expectations of each customer which has an impact on customer satisfaction. PT SJKM is a service company for the sale of motorbikes, spare parts, and official motorcycle repairs from Yamaha. The number of complaints from customers about the company's services has resulted in a decrease in the number of customers, thus affecting the company's revenue. From these problems, this research was conducted to identify the company's service quality attributes by looking at the gap between customer perceptions and expectations, identifying service attributes that are in the critical category, and providing suggestions for improving company services. This research uses the SERVQUAL method to evaluate customer satisfaction from 33 service attributes. Furthermore, the QFD method to design improvement solutions for service attributes that are the main priority for improvement from the results of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) analysis.  According to the research findings, there are 7 service attributes that are perceived negatively by customers, indicating their dissatisfaction. Out of the 6 service attributes that need improvement, dealer security is identified as the top priority and will be addressed first using the QFD method. Abstract

Increased consumer demand has an influence on production results. Pure chips SMEs have obstacles in meeting their needs for raw materials such as sweet potatoes and cooking oil. The main raw materials are obtained from sweet potato farmers and cooking oil producers. Accurate and maximum calculation of raw materials is needed so that SMEs do not have problems in facing shortages or excesses of main raw materials. This research aims to assist pure chips SMEs in managing the amount of inventory of core raw materials to be produced into snacks. Research on the production of sweet potato and cooking oil supplies was carried out using a quantitative descriptive approach. The data obtained comes from pure chips UKM. Then the data will be analyzed using the reorder point method. From the calculation results, it was found that pure chips SMEs had to re-order sweet potato raw materials of around 8 kilograms per day and 3 liters of cooking oil raw materials per day.

Abstract

Measuring the company level of productivity performance is a very important thing to do to see and evaluate achievements and improvements to productivity levels that are not yet optimal. This case study was taken from the leather bag UKM which is currently experiencing a decline in productivity during the 2020 period. With the increase in working hours, the company must increase workers' overtime costs. In this research, the method used to measure the level of company productivity is the objective matrix or OMAX method and this research refers to the OMAX steps, namely determining productivity criteria on the production line, determining weights, determining levels on the objective matrix, calculating the productivity index, and productivity analysis with a traffic light system. The research results show that the average value of overall productivity in 2020 is 4,388 The highest productivity index was achieved in August amounting to 67,01%. From the traffic light system, it is known that the worst indicator of productivity is the defect factor, so improvements need to be made regarding this.

Abstract

Business development, especially in the culinary industry. UMKM Kirantea is one of the businesses in the culinary sector that uses SWOT analysis to develop its business strategy. As part of this research, a SWOT analysis was carried out to determine the position of UMKM Kirantea in the culinary industry and identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats related to processing and developing its business. Based on the results of the SWOT analysis, UMKM Kirantea can continue to develop, but a combination of SWOT analysis is needed, such as implementing SO strategies, one example of which is expanding cooperation networks and networking with stakeholders (associations, restaurants, hotels) holding event activities in various regions, strategies WO, one example is increasing cooperation and networking with suppliers and partnerships with medium and large scale industries as well as using local or regional events as a promotional tool, ST strategy, one of which is maintaining affordable prices and quality-controlled materials to face competition and WT strategies, such as developing an online marketing platform to remain competitive amidst competition.

Abstract

Karya Teknik Mandiri merupakan perusahaan yang bergerakdi bidang pembubutan besi dimana salah satu hasil produksi yang dihasilkanyaitu produk ring 9 5/8 ukuran 210 ml. Dalam melakukan proses distribusi produk masih sering memiliki masalah yang muncul dimana perusahaanmasih sering mengalami stok akhir yang semakin bertambah setiap tahunnya yang berpengaruh terhadap tingginya biaya penyimpanan sehingga total biaya yang berhubungan dengan aktivitas distribusi perusahaan juga ikut meningkat hal ini disebabkan UD. Karya Teknik Mandiri belum memiliki sebuah metode yang digunakan dalam prosesdistribusi. Adapun data jumlah distribusi Pada UD. Karya Teknik Mandiri periode 2018-2022. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dari penelitian yang dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil dengan menggunakan DRP total biaya distribusi perusahaan periode 2020-2023 sebesar Rp. 309.818.500.

Abstract

Suhu di ruang produksi PT Cahaya Alam Sejati serta mengevaluasi apakah suhu tersebut sesuai dengan standar yang diatur dalam Permenkes No. 70 Tahun 2016 tentang Standar dan Persyaratan Kesehatan Lingkungan Kerja Industri. Suhu di ruang produksi diukur secara rutin pada tiga waktu berbeda, yaitu pagi (07:00 WIB), siang (15:00 WIB), dan malam (23:00 WIB), selama 30 hari berturut-turut. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan alat pengukur suhu yang sesuai standar, dengan tujuan untuk melihat variasi suhu yang terjadi sepanjang hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu ruangan pada siang hari melebihi batas maksimal yang ditetapkan oleh Permenkes, yaitu 30°C untuk pekerjaan ringan dan 29°C untuk pekerjaan sedang. Suhu pada siang hari tercatat antara 33,3°C hingga 37,6°C, yang jauh di atas standar yang diperbolehkan. Sementara itu, pada pagi dan malam hari, meskipun ada beberapa pengukuran yang memenuhi syarat, suhu di beberapa titik juga tetap melebihi ambang batas yang diperbolehkan. Kondisi suhu yang tidak sesuai ini berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap karyawan, seperti peningkatan risiko heat stress, dehidrasi, dan penurunan produktivitas akibat ketidaknyamanan kerja. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada PT Cahaya Alam Sejati agar melakukan perbaikan sistem ventilasi dan pendinginan di ruang produksi, serta melakukan pemantauan suhu secara berkala untuk memastikan kondisi lingkungan kerja tetap sesuai dengan standar kesehatan yang berlaku. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang lebih sehat dan produktif, serta mematuhi regulasi yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah terkait kesehatan lingkungan kerja di industri manufaktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan Metode Reorder Point (ROP) dalam manajemen pengendalian persediaan stok bahan baku produksi mesin Chicago Blower di PT. Super Andalas Steel. Sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perbengkelan, pengelolaan persediaan bahan baku menjadi hal krusial guna menghindari masalah kelebihan maupun kekurangan stok yang dapat mengganggu proses produksi dan menurunkan kepuasan pelanggan. Masalah kelebihan persediaan dapat menyebabkan biaya penyimpanan yang tinggi, sedangkan kekurangan persediaan dapat menghentikan produksi dan menunda pengiriman produk. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan sistem manajemen persediaan yang efektif melalui penetapan titik pemesanan ulang (ROP) yang didasarkan pada analisis tingkat permintaan dan lead time. Dengan menggunakan metode peramalan Exponential Smoothing, penelitian ini berhasil menghasilkan titik ROP yang akurat, sehingga perusahaan dapat menjaga keseimbangan antara jumlah bahan baku yang tersedia dan kebutuhan produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode ROP dapat mengoptimalkan persediaan, mengurangi biaya operasional, dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi serta kepuasan pelanggan di PT. Super Andalas Steel. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap manajemen persediaan bahan baku di perusahaan tersebut.

Abstract

MM Hospital is one of the General Hospitals located on Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Harjosari I Village, Medan Amplas District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. This hospital plans to develop its services in the health sector. Referring to Law No. 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management, Law No. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation, Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Environmental Protection and Management and Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia No. 4 of 2021 concerning List of Businesses and/or Activities Required to Have an Environmental Impact Analysis, Environmental Management Efforts and Environmental Monitoring Efforts or a Statement of Undertaking to Manage and Monitor the Environment Appendix I Letter F Health Sector No.12. and Annex II Letter A Multisector with criteria required to have AMDAL, UKL-UPL and SPPL, for building area ≥10,000 m2, AMDAL is required. So that development activities in health services by MM General Hospital, are required to prepare an Environmental Impact Analysis Document (AMDAL) Category C. Based on the results of the public consultation conducted on May 19, 2023, several important issues that became input in public consultation activities, among others, were grouped into the impact of increased vibration, the impact of liquid waste generation, the impact of increased employment and business opportunities, the impact of changes in community income and the impact of changes in community attitudes and perceptions.
