Abstract

Information on water levels needs to be conveyed quickly. So, when the rainfall is high, the supervisory team that monitor the drainage water level needs to be alert move quickly to prevent losses. In addressing these problems, the author will provide a solution in Monitoring of the water level system in the drainage water reservoir so that the operator and maintenance team can find out if there is an over discharge in the drainage water reservoir when the rainfall is very high. By utilizing ultrasonic sensors to detect changes in drainage water level. The ultrasonic sensor used has better reliability than other proximity sensors. In addition, the use of the ultrasonic sensor capability on the prototype is only on the Centimeter scale, and with the help of a buzzer as a reminder indicator (alarm) to find out the water level approaching the sensor. Float switch is also used to determine the water level, namely low, medium and high.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of peer attachment on the level of academic stress experienced by undergraduate students of the Psychology program at Padang State University. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with a correlational design, including statistical analysis to measure the relationship between peer attachment variables and academic stress. The results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between the quality of peer attachment and the level of academic stress. The higher the quality of the relationship, the lower the student's stress level. In addition, other factors such as academic workload can also cause stress. This study highlights the importance of peer emotional support in reducing academic stress and recommends social support-based interventions to address the academic pressure faced by students.

Abstract

Abstract: Far from family often makes students feel loneliness. Someone who experiences loneliness will feel that he is undesirable. Things like that can have bad consequences, especially for students. One of the consequences is the decline in student academic achievement. So loneliness needs to be overcome, one way is by applying expressive writing. This study used six home-sick students studying at Bukittinggi. This study was useful to look at the comparison of the levels of loneliness in students who had a home illness before and after the treatment. Based on data analysis using the paired sample t-test, p=0,002 (α<0,005) is found, which means there is a significant difference in the level of loneliness before and after the expressive writing method. So it can be concluded that the method of expressive writing has proven effective in dealing with the feeling of loneliness in students who have a homeick.

Abstract

Online motorcycle taxi riders, a vulnerable group on the road, are more susceptible to serious injury than non-motorcycle riders. This study analyzed a correlation between daily income targets, passenger pressure, risk perception, safety attitudes, and risky riding behavior. This cross-sectional study used a semi-quantitative approach by collecting online-based questionnaires from 500 online motorcycle taxi riders in Jakarta, and 50 of them were obtained through offline interviews. The findings revealed a significant relationship between daily income targets, passenger pressure, risk perception (danger level, stochastic evaluation, and safety priority), safety attitudes (pragmatic attitude to rule violations and dissatisfaction with traffic rules), and risky riding behavior, with a p-value of <0.05. In particular, a pragmatic attitude to rule violations was the most impactful on risky riding behavior. Online motorcycle taxi companies should provide regular training on traffic laws and safe riding practices to improve road safety. This holistic approach may enhance safety through education, passenger awareness, and rigorous management.

Abstract

The availability of road infrastructure is one of the important aspects of accelerating the national development process. With all the fiscal limitations in financing the need for large infrastructure provisions, an optimal funding strategy is needed to achieve development goals through alternative financing of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme to bridge the financing gap through investment. However, the realization of infrastructure investment is a complex matter, so a quality PPP project preparation and planning process is needed so the project visions can be achieved effectively and efficiently. This study aims to observe the application of the Project DevelopmentRoutemap Method on the Gedebage – Tasikmalaya – Cilacap Toll Road project which is a project carried out by PPP scheme. The Project Development Routemap Method assessed the complexity and strategic risk of a project and assessed the capability of key areas of responsisbility involved, as well as developed reccomendations and action plans as research outputs. Based on the result of the study, it was found that The Gedebage – Tasikmalaya – Cilacap Toll Road is a high-complexity project. The capabilities of the stakeholders including Sponsors (PJPK), Clients (BUJT), Aset Managers (Operators), and Markets (Service Providers) are currently working appropriately, but there are still some areas that need to be improved. Six areas needed improvement, and three practices that were appropriate and needed to be continued.

Abstract

Developmental tasks are a series of tasks that must be completed by a student/counselor at a certain stage of life/development. Developmental tasks arise from physical maturity, psychological maturity, social or cultural demands, and personal values and aspirations. When a student/counselor successfully completes a developmental task, the student or learner feels satisfied and becomes an asset to complete the next stage of developmental tasks. This study aims to determine the efforts of guidance and counseling teachers in fulfilling the developmental tasks of alpha generation students. The type of research used is qualitative literature research which is a literature study. The results revealed that the teacher's efforts in achieving the developmental tasks of alpha generation students or learners are as follows: Needs assessment, needs analysis, planning of services to be provided to students or learners, implementation of counseling, and others related to developmental issues, guidance of student services, evaluation, and reflection of services.
