Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide skills for Natural Sciences teachers in Garut district to create augmented reality based learning media. Through the use of good and appropriate media, the delivery of material can be better absorbed by students. So that later students are expected to be easier to understand the concepts. The service activities consist of two stages, the first stage is socialization and the second stage is training. The socialization and training were attended by science MGMP teachers in Garut district. The training material is the use of augmented reality as an alternative learning media in science learning. The results showed that community service went well and smoothly. Based on the overall questionnaire results the teachers responded positively related to the implementation of this training. The teacher seemed very enthusiastic in listening to the explanation and practicing what the speaker said. In addition, the teachers stated that through the training, they obtained many benefits related to the addition of knowledge about alternative learning media that could be applied in science learning, even they felt an increase in creativity in making learning media. The obstacles that arise at this training stage are the problems of time that are felt lacking for training, therefore they suggest that ongoing training be held related to the making of learning media using augmented reality or other media.

Abstract

Teachers are required to improve their abilities in the field of technology by utilizing ICT to communicate and develop themselves. Teaching materials in the form of innovative learning media utilizing information technology in accordance with the development needs of students is one of the things that can be used by teachers in answering the mandate of the Law on Teachers and Lecturers. Augmented Reality is one of the results of current developments in information technology which is seen as helping in the learning process of some learning materials, especially abstract concepts. This community service activity (PkM) aims to improve teacher professional competence through augmented reality based teaching materials development training using the Vuporia application, which in practice uses the lecture method, discussion method, and group design methods. This PkM activity is targeted for 20 participants with consideration of current conditions that are being hit by the Covid 19 pandemic, and is adjusted to comply with the Covid 19 health protocol. The participants who attended were 11 participants who were physics teachers who were members of the SMK physics MGMP. Garut Regency. The PkM activity has succeeded in opening new insights for physics teachers who are training participants in delivering material in class, and have been able to make physics learning media based on Augmented reality using Vuporia

Abstract

Kampung Naga yang terletak di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya, Jawa Barat, merupakan komunitas adat yang tetap teguh menjaga nilai serta aturan leluhur meskipun modernisasi semakin berkembang pesat. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini diarahkan untuk mengoptimalkan nilai-nilai tradisi Kampung Naga guna memperkuat ketahanan pangan sekaligus mengembangkan ekonomi kreatif berbasis kearifan lokal. Metode yang digunakan mencakup observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa leuit (lumbung padi) masih menjadi sarana utama dalam menjamin ketersediaan pangan sepanjang tahun. Setiap rumah tangga rata-rata menyimpan 200-300 ikat padi yang mampu memenuhi kebutuhan selama 8-10 bulan, sehingga membantu menghadapi musim paceklik sekaligus memperkokoh identitas budaya. Di sisi lain, sekitar 40% keluarga terlibat dalam usaha ekonomi kreatif, seperti kerajinan bambu, produk batok kelapa, serta makanan tradisional. Aktivitas ini tidak hanya menambah penghasilan, tetapi juga menjaga kelestarian tradisi leluhur. Hambatan muncul akibat keterbatasan listrik dan akses teknologi digital, sehingga masyarakat memilih cara adaptasi sederhana melalui penjualan langsung dan penggunaan WhatsApp. Hasil pengabdian membuktikan bahwa penguatan nilai adat dapat menjadi dasar dalam menjaga ketahanan pangan sekaligus mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif tanpa menghilangkan identitas budaya. Strategi ini memperlihatkan bahwa masyarakat adat mampu menyaring teknologi modern agar tetap selaras dengan norma dan kearifan lokal, sehingga tradisi tetap terjaga sembari memberikan manfaat ekonomi nyata.

Abstract

This research is a result that describes the design of a website-based new student registration information system to improve the current system. The reason on the resultsservations and interviews conducted with sources where providing information regarding the placement of intemship students is still done manually because there are no media or facilities that schools can use to provide registration information to prospective students. Therefore, we need a media that can present information on new student registration at RA Al Khoeriyah. The method used in designing this application is using the waterfall method to make the process of providing information more effective. Then this new student registration website was created by making a design using UML modeling. Before it was developed into a complete application by the developer the design was in the form of a waterfall, first by the validator using a validation sheet and the results obtained in the validation sheet stated that the category obtained in the validation sheet states that the categories obtained are good and very good. So it can be stated that the design of this website-based new student registration information system is worthy of being a reference for further system.

Abstract

Project management at Cemara Pharmacy faced challenges such as poor team coordination, progress monitoring difficulties, and data inaccuracies, hindering operational efficiency in the pharmaceutical sector. This study aimed to design and develop a web-based project management information system to support real-time planning, execution, and evaluation of projects. The research employed the Waterfall model, with data collection via field observations, interviews with managers and staff, document analysis, and literature review; the population comprised Cemara Pharmacy staff as primary participants, using UML (Use Case, Activity, Sequence, Class Diagrams), WBS, Gantt Chart, and PERT as instruments; data analysis involved functional, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Results demonstrated that the Laravel- and MySQL-based system enhanced transparency, reduced administrative errors, and improved efficiency by up to 30%, with user evaluations highlighting interface ease and multi-platform accessibility. The study concludes that the system significantly contributes to professional project management in pharmacy SMEs, implying broader operational digital transformation.
