Abstract

An understanding of Imago Dei is important to build the behavior of students at Sungai Hidup Junior High School, Pinoh Selatan District, West Kalimantan, which still has a bad record of violating school rules. This research provides benefits for educators to consistently live and teach the values ??of biblical truth contained in teaching about Imago Dei so that it can have a more significant impact on behavior change for students. The results showed, first, that the effect of understanding Imago Dei on changes in student behavior is still in the "moderate" category and needs to be improved by implementing it into a school curriculum based on Christian character education. Second, the understanding of being created in the image of God is still positively correlated with student behavior in the "moderate to high" category, although it is not a sub-variable (X1) that dominantly influences student behavior, it still needs to be considered and maintained. Third, the understanding of being created in the likeness of God is a sub-variable (X2) that dominantly influences student behavior. For this reason, educators need to put forward teaching attitudes and behavior toward students

Abstract

Today, many Christian families face a variety of problems, which are problems within the family that affect all aspects of life, such as the economy, education, health, children's problems, and various other problems that arise in daily life. Families experiencing problems in their lives often divorce, with obvious consequences for all family members. The absence of Christ's honour and love in a family, even if they are Christians, will cause wounds to their husbands, wives, and children. The Christian family is truly populated by sinners. However, these households are also places where family members recognise that they are sinners and understand the problems that will arise as a result of their sin. It takes realisation that the Christian family needs God to intervene in its household and prevent problems from disrupting their harmony, which will ultimately result in losing Christ. It is imperative to involve God in the household that God has joined together so that families who face problems every day can resolve them according to the truth of God's Word and restore their family harmony.

Abstract

The testaments of the kingdom of heaven and Jesus Christ must be delivered to all people around the world because the Lord Jesus Christ came to the world to save people from demise. The right teaching method can have a great impact on servants of God in delivering and teaching the testament of the kingdom of heaven. These methods can help God's people resolve their problems by learning and teaching God's words. If we look at the Gospel of Mark, we see that the Lord Jesus Christ taught in a very compelling way, which attracted many people to listen to His teaching. As educators, they should emulate the way the Lord Jesus taught. This must be done so that their lessons can have a significant impact on the people they teach. The Bible provides a wealth of information on the teachings taught by the Lord Jesus Christ. The teachings taught by the Lord Jesus Christ always fulfill the needs of His disciples. Scholarly research on the Gospel of Mark found various methods of Jesus' teaching, including discussions, parables, questions and answers, props, and lectures. Every educator, teacher, lecturer, and servant of God of the Pentecostal Messenger Church in Indonesia Region IX Sekadau Regency can use all five of Jesus' teaching methods in the education process, especially in churches and theological schools. Jesus, as a great teacher, has demonstrated an innovative way to teach. He used varied learning methods. So that the growing of faith can be achieved optimally, Christian education in the Church can use Jesus' teaching methods in a way that suits the congregation's circumstances.
