Abstract

This nation is looking for and choosing an idea that can complete the basalak education, which is expected to be a solution and able to bring this nation to progress. In the midst of the ambiguity of society in the world of education, the new hope is with the coming of the era of character education sourced from the quran and hadith, through a character-based holistic concept and promoting nine pillars; love God and all his creation, independence and responsibility, honesty and trustworthy, diplomatic, respectful and polite, generous and helpful, confident and hardworking, leadership and justice, humble, tolerant, peaceful and united.

Abstract

Humans are one of the creatures who have special abilities and occupy the highest position among other creatures based on the fact that many Muslims know the commands and prohibitions of God but the higher and broader their knowledge, the further and often violates the rules set by God and humans. This writing aims to determine the quality of human characters in the Qur'an that makes. Descriptive qualitative method that aims to describe the quality of human resources in the Qur'an. The embodiment of quality human beings must also be supported by the establishment of the quality of faith, science, quality of good deeds, and social quality, and quality of work because these aspects are very closely related, faith will be questioned if not having knowledge and science will be questioned if it is more knowledgeable then it worsening the quality of the faith or relationship with God and the relationship with Man that is indicated from the nature and attitude of Man.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that during the learning process the teacher still uses improvised media such as books or student worksheets and blackboards. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rolling ball media on Islamic religion learning outcomes of class VIII students at SMP O Mangunharjo, Musi Rawas Regency. The design used in this study is pretest-posttest control group design. The results showed that classes that used rolling ball media got higher learning outcomes than classes that did not use rolling ball media. The average student learning outcomes at the post-test experimental class > control class (85.6 > 73.7). Based on the t-test analysis using the SPSS application in the final test with an error rate of 5%, the significance value was <0.05 (0.005 <0.05), then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of using rolling ball media on Islamic religion lesson learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP O. Mangunharjo, Musi Rawas Regency.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia, memiliki keanekaragaman suku, budaya, bahasa, dan agama yang dapat menjadi kekuatan jika dikelola dengan baik, namun juga berpotensi menimbulkan konflik jika diabaikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di SMA Negeri 2 Muara Beliti, sebagai upaya membentuk karakter siswa yang toleran dan mampu hidup harmonis dalam masyarakat majemuk. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, dewan guru, dan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang diinternalisasi meliputi komitmen kebangsaan, toleransi, anti kekerasan, dan akomodatif terhadap budaya lokal. Proses internalisasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler, dengan peran penting guru dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Selain itu, sekolah juga melibatkan tokoh agama dan masyarakat untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa. Meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti kurangnya pemahaman mendalam di kalangan siswa, upaya berkelanjutan terus dilakukan untuk memperkuat penerapan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama di sekolah

Abstract

The view of character education is indeed the main focus in building a quality generation. This study seems very relevant in the context of education in Indonesia, especially in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) environment which has an important role in shaping children's character from an early age. The concept of character education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara, as you explained, emphasizes the instillation of moral values ​​and noble character. The "Among System" used in its implementation shows the importance of the role of interaction between teachers and students, and in the context of learning Akidah Akhlak, this is certainly very relevant. In learning Akidah Akhlak in MI, the moral and character concepts taught can be sourced from Islamic teachings and universal values ​​taught by Ki Hadjar Dewantara. Thus, this learning does not only cover academic aspects, but also the morals and character of students. The relevance of the concept of character education according to Ki Hadjar Dewantara for learning Akidah Akhlak in MI can be seen from the efforts to shape the character of students so that they become good and responsible human beings, and have respect for others and the surrounding environment. Thus, this research provides a significant contribution in efforts to improve the quality of character education in MI and strengthen moral values ​​in Islamic religious learning.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to improve the skills of lecturers and the tridharma of higher education in the form of delivering sermons at the Al Hidayah Mosque, Simpang Periuk Lubuklinggau. This community service is carried out every once in a while, where sermons are given by the management of the Al Hidayah Mosque with an attached schedule for one year. The problems faced by the lack of preachers at the Al Hidayah Mosque and the lack of religious knowledge among the congregation at the Al Hidayah Mosque. By optimizing the role of religious lecturers, it is hoped that academic institutions and the wider community will be able to provide improvements in worship, religious knowledge and be able to carry out Friday prayers well and produce articles in the form of national scientific journals.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the strategies of Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers in enhancing students’ religious literacy. The focus of the research was on the planning, implementation, supporting and inhibiting factors, and the implications of teacher strategies for students’ religious literacy. This research used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicated that in the planning stage, teachers designed learning activities by integrating religious literacy into both classroom instruction and extracurricular programs. In the implementation stage, teachers applied various strategies such as project-based learning, the habituation of religious practices, and the use of digital media to strengthen students’ engagement. Supporting factors included school facilities, parental involvement, and students’ motivation, while inhibiting factors consisted of limited instructional time, variations in students’ literacy levels, and technological challenges faced by teachers. The study concluded that the strategies of IRE teachers significantly improved students’ abilities in reading, understanding, and applying Islamic teachings in daily life. Moreover, these strategies fostered a culture of religious literacy and strengthened students’ religious character. The results of this study implied that such strategies could serve as a model for other schools and suggested future research to explore the long-term impacts of religious literacy programs.

Abstract

Religious education in early childhood plays a strategic role in shaping character, spirituality, and noble morals from an early age. In Muslim families, parents serve as the primary educators and role models in their children's daily lives. This study aims to examine the role of parents in providing religious education to early childhood children within Muslim households, the forms of their involvement, and the challenges they face. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using literature review methods sourced from nationally accredited academic journals published between 2019 and 2024. The findings reveal that parents contribute through exemplary behavior, habituation of worship practices, spiritual communication, and the use of Islamic-based educational media. However, several challenges persist, such as limited parental time, low religious literacy, and external influences that are not aligned with Islamic values. Recommended efforts include enhancing parents’ religious understanding through community religious forums (majelis taklim), increasing Islamic literacy, and fostering collaboration between families and educational institutions. This study affirms the critical importance of active parental involvement as the foundational pillar in instilling religious values and shaping morally upright and spiritually grounded Muslim children.
