Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pengaruh pemberian perbandingan dolomit dengan tanah dan perlakuan volume air terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Lahan Penelitian FP UDA dari bulan Mei hingga bulan Agustus 2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah perlakuan perbandingan dolomit dengan tanah yang terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu: D0 = kontrol, D1 = 1:100 dan D2 = 2:100. Faktor kedua adalah volume penyiraman air (V) terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu : V1 = 0.1 l/polybag/hari, V2 = 0.2 l/polybag/hari dan V3 = 0.3 l/polybag/hari. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perlakuan perbandingan Dolomit dengan tanah tidak nyata terhadap seluruh variabel respon yang diamati. Perlakuan volume penyiraman berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan luas daun. Tinggi tanaman dan luas daun tertinggi diperoleh pada perlakuan volume penyiraman 0.3 l/polybag/hari.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga di Kota Medan berdasarkan aspek pengeluaran pangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kota Medan dari mulai bulan Februari 2020 sampai Maret 2020. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui pengeluaran untuk pangan dalam setiap rumah tangga per dua hari nya yang didapatkan dari hasil jawaban pertanyaan langsung terhadap responden mengenai kelompok makanan dan banyaknya makanan yang tersedia untuk dikonsumsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa proporsi pengeluaran untuk pangan rumah tangga terendah yaitu sebesar 36,8% ≤ 60 % dan tertinggi 36,9 % ≤ 60 %, maka rumah tangga di Kota Medan termasuk dalam kriteria tahan pangan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the increasing of Growth of Oil Palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) Seedlings in Pre-nursery due to Urea and NPK Treatment. The study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of the first factor Urea fertilizer (U) which consisted of 3 treatment levels, namely U0 = control, U1 = 1.0 g baby polybag-1, and U2 = 2.0g baby polybag-1, while the factor NPK fertilizer (N) consisted of 3 treatment levels, namely N0 = control, N1 = 1.0 g baby polybag-1 and N2 = 2.0 g baby polybag-1. The results showed that with exception for the increase in leaf area, Urea and NPK treatments were not significant for increase of plant height (cm), stem diameter (cm), number of leaves (blades), leaf length (cm) and leaf width (cm), the results were also variative. Furthermore, conclusion of this research is that the higher the dose of urea and NPK fertilizer resulted in a higher increase in leaf area.

Abstract

Rata-rata Lama Sekolah (AYS) di Sumatera Utara pada tahun 2020 adalah 9,54 tahun, sedangkan Harapan Lama Sekolah (EYS) adalah 13,23 tahun. Artinya tingkat pendidikan penduduk Sumatera Utara rata-rata tamat SLTP namun peluang bersekolah adalah tamat Diploma I. Disini kita dapat melihat kesenjangan antara rata-rata lama sekolah dengan lama sekolah yang diharapkan. . Menelaah berbagai dokumentasi guna menghasilkan alternatif kebijakan dan kegiatan peningkatan angka AYS dari EYS yang pada gilirannya akan meningkatkan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) dan mengurangi kemiskinan. Metode penulisan artikel ini adalah melalui pengumpulan berbagai peraturan dan dokumen dari pemerintah pusat hingga pemerintah daerah selama November 2021 hingga Desember 2021, kemudian dilakukan kajian untuk merumuskan berbagai kebijakan dan kegiatan dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan analisis data, berbagai kebijakan dan kegiatan yang dapat ditempuh untuk meningkatkan rata-rata lama sekolah dari lama sekolah yang diharapkan adalah dari perspektif siswa; biaya sekolah dibebaskan, beasiswa dan bantuan pendidikan ditingkatkan, pendidikan kesetaraan dan sosialisasi. Selanjutnya dari sisi guru; perlu menambah jumlah guru, pelatihan dan sertifikasi guru serta tambahan tunjangan guru, sedangkan dari sisi infrastruktur; perlu merehabilitasi dan melengkapi fasilitas sekolah, membangun sekolah baru dan menjamin aksesibilitas lokasi sekolah berupa jalan atau jembatan, moda transportasi dan bus sekolah gratis. Semakin lama rata-rata lama sekolah semakin tinggi Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, yang berimplikasi pada tingginya pola pangan harapan rumah tangga di Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the response of oil palm seedlings in pre nursery to Urea and Goat Manure treatment. This research used a factorial Randomized Block Design consisting of the first factor, Urea treatment with 3 levels, namely: U0 = 0 g/polybag, U1 = 3 g/polybag and U2 = 6 g/polybag. The second factor is the dose of Goat Manure (K) with 3 treatment levels, namely: K1 = 0 g/polybag, K2 = 200 g/polybag and K3 = 400 g/polybag. The results showed that fertilization with urea 6 g/polybag significantly increased plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width and leaf area. Treatment with a dose of Goat Manure at a dose of 400 g/polybag significantly increased the growth of plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width and leaf area. The combination between Urea and the dose of Goat Manure has a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width and leaf area.

Abstract

Abstract

Background and Objective: The utilization of cow manure and Phonska fertilizer can yield various impacts on the growth of oil palm seedlings in the pre-nursery, encompassing aspects such as nutrition, soil conditions, root development, plant response, and seedling productivity. This study aims to assess the influence of cow manure and Phonska fertilizer, both individually and in combination, on the growth of oil palm seedlings. Materials and Methods: The research site was located 25 meters above sea level. The study was conducted from April to June 2022. A factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 treatment factors was employed. The first factor was the application of cow manure with 3 levels: S1 = 30 g/polybag, S2 = 60 g/polybag, and S3 = 90 g/polybag. The second factor was the application of Phonska Fertilizer (P), with the following levels: P1 = 7 g/polybag, P2 = 14 g/polybag, and P3 = 21 g/polybag. Results: The findings indicated that the application of either cow manure or Phonska significantly impacted plant height, stem diameter, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, and leaf area, although the combined treatment did not yield a significant effect. Conclusion: Higher application rates of cow manure or Phonska resulted in increased growth of oil palm seedlings in the pre-nursery, following a linear regression pattern.

Abstract

The Effect of ZA and Growtone on increasing Growth of Mas Kirana Banana Superior Variety (Musa Acuminata L.) from Tissue Culture Results at Screen House. The aim of study was to determine the effect of Growtone and ZA on increasing the growth of mas Kirana banana seedlings (Musa acummunata L.) at the acclimatization stage. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) factorial with 2 treatments. The first factor of Growtone (A) consists of 3 levels, namely A0 = Control, A1 = 50 mg/100 ml water/plant, A2 = 100 mg/100 ml water/plant. The second factor is ZA (Z) consisting of 3 levels namely: Z0 = control, Z1 = 0.5 g/plant, Z2 = 1 g/plant. The results showed that the Growtone treatment had a significant effect on the increase in plant height, the increase in the number of leaves, the increase in leaf width, root volume, but not significant on wet weight and shoot dry weight. The ZA treatment also had significant effect on the increase in plant height, the increase in the number of leaves, the increase in leaf width, root volume but no significant effect on wet weight and shoot dry weight. The effect of the combination of Growtone and ZA treatments was not significant on all observed variables.

Abstract

Oil palm is a mayor commodity crop in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the effects of NPK fertilizer and Biotrent Sawit liquid organic fertilizer on the growth of oil palm seedlings in a pre-nursery. The research was conducted on Jalan Biola No. 17 Medan, from April to July 2024. A factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used, with two factors: the first being NPK fertilizer (Phonska) at three levels-P0 = control, P1 = 1.5 g/seedling, and P2 = 3.0 g/seedling; the second factor was the liquid organic fertilizer Biotrent Sawit, applied at three levels-B1 = 1 cc/seedling, B2 = 2 cc/seedling, and B3 = 3 cc/seedling. The variables observed included seedling height, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, leaf area, and root volume. The results showed that the NPK (Phonska) fertilizer and Biotrent Sawit liquid organic fertilizer treatments had significant effects on Seedling Height, Leaf Length, Leaf Width, Leaf Area, and Root Volume. However, Treatment had no significant effect on the Number of Leaves in oil palm seedlings. Until the end of the observation period, there was no significant interaction between NPK (Phonska) and Biotrent Sawit liquid organic fertilizer. Generally, higher doses of NPK (Phonska) and Biotrent Sawit liquid organic fertilizer enhanced the growth of oil palm seedlings.

Abstract

The research was conducted using a factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) consisting of two factors. The first factor was urea fertilizer treatment with three levels: U0 = control, U1 = 3 g/polybag, and U2 = 6 g/polybag. The second factor was the dose of goat manure (K) with three levels: K1 = control, K2 = 200 g/polybag, and K3 = 400 g/polybag. The interaction between urea and goat manure doses had a significant effect on plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves, leaf length, leaf width, and leaf area.
