Abstract

To face the economic problems in this global era, the agriculture sector can support the needs of many people in Indonesia, particularly those who have a low economic background. Recently most farmers have worked hard to increase their productivity. However, they often find have problems or handicaps such as (1) human resource is still low; (2) financial problems; (3) land is not enough to produce commodities; (4) infrastructures are not available enough; (5) appropriate technologies are not enough; (6) networking system of agriculture is not established yet to all agriculture sector; (7) most of the farmers are depending on the natural support; (8) skill, spirit entrepreneurship and sense of self-support of the farmers are not optimized. Regarding these problems, in fact, most farmers are developing their agriculture sectors without considering the quality of their products which is very important to the consumers, the second problem is economic global which is running fast. This can cause problems for farmers. It is therefore, all the farmers should be motivated to improve their capability on agriculture and their feeling confidence. Based on the issues, this article focuses on the single problem like "is it relevant to give understanding about the business which oriented to agribusiness toward the global area. It is summed up that in global marketing, the agriculture sector is relevant to wake the spirit, entrepreneurship ability of the farmers and oriented to agribusiness. Then they should consider the efficiency, competitive, productivity, viable, marketing strategic and self-support in order to place themselves well either in the local, regional or national level, even at the international level.

Abstract

The production of mustard pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) depends on the level of soil properties. Therefore, a study was conducted to determine the physical and chemical properties of the soil for mustard cultivation and its relationship. This research is quantitative descriptive. Observation variables in this study were C-organic soil, soil texture, soil moisture content, porosity, and bulk density. Laboratory data from soil physical properties and C-organic soil were matched with soil chemical criteria and evaluation of land suitability, After that, correlation analysis is used to see the relationship. The results showed that the C-organic content of the soil in Wolofeo Village was 3.01%-3.54% and was classified as high. While the physical properties of the soil in Wolofeo Village are for soil moisture content ranging from 39.77% -41.11%, Porosity ranges from 52.42% -61.33%, Fill Density ranges from 1.02 -1.26 g/ cm3, and the soil texture is sandy loam. These criteria are very suitable conditions for the cultivation of mustard greens. The relationship between C-organic soil and soil physical properties shows a significant relationship.

Abstract

Tanaman tomat termasuk ke dalam tanaman semusim dengan umur lebih kurang 4 bulan, berbentuk perdu dengan tinggi tanaman bisa mencapai 2 meter. Batang tanaman sewaktu masih muda berbentuk bulat dan teksturnya keras berkayu. Ciri khas batang tomat adalah tumbuhnya bulu-bulu halus disekitar permukaannya. Akar tanaman tomat memiliki akar tunggang yang tumbuh menembus kedalam tanah dan akar serabut yang tumbuh menyebar kearah samping tetapi dangkal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sifat kimia tanah dan kriteria kesuburan tanah pada kemiringan lahan yang berbeda pada tanaman tomat di Desa Riaraja Kecamatan Ende. Penelitian dengan metode skala sampling, pengambilan sampel tanahnya pada lahan tanaman tomat dengan kemiringan lahan berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan kurang lebih 3 bulan. Adapun variabel kimia yang diamati yaitu: P2O5, K2O, Kapasitas Tukar Kation, Kejenuhan Basah, dan C-Organik. Variabel yang telah dianalisis, dideskripsikan dengan membandingkan dengan kriteria kimia tanah dan kesuburan tanah dari Pusat Penelitian Tanah Bogor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa P2O5 tegolong sedang hingga sangat tinggi, K2O tergolong tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, KTK tergolong tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, KB tergolong sangat tinggi dan C-organik tergolong sangat rendah hingga sangat tinggi. Sedangkan kriteria kesuburan tanah tergolong sedang hingga tinggi.

Abstract

Escalating rice production through technical efficiency becomes an essential alternative as the extensification path is getting tough to take. Rice productivity declines while the consumption rate continues to rise. This study aims to analyze the technical, allocative, and economic efficiency rates of the Jajar Legowo and Tegel Planting Systems. Factors of efficiency are included in the research. The research was conducted in the village of Nanga Buntal, East Manggarai, a rice production centre district in the Province of NTT. Among 152 rice farmer respondents, 102 are from the Jajar Legowo planting system and 50 from the Tegel planting system. The stochastic frontier Cobb-Douglass method is used in data analysis. The allocation and economic efficiency are analyzed using the Stochastic frontier cost function. This analysis also uses multiple linear regression analysis. The average rates of technical, allocative, and economic efficiency of the Tegel planting system are respectively 72 %, 76 % and 56 %. These rates are lower than that of the Jajar Legowo Planting system (84 %, 86 %, and 73%). The periods of farming, land area, dummy of farmer group members, and the dummy of planting systems are factors that significantly and positively influence technical and allocative efficiency. Factors that negatively affect efficiency are farmers' age and credit access dummy. Further intensive training for the Jajar Legowo planting system is needed.

Abstract

Roh kebangsaan, spiritualitas yang memerdekakan dari Nilai-nilai Pancasila sangat diperlukan untuk mengantisipasi dan menghadapi rentetan krisis sosial, ekonomi, kesehatan dan krisis kebangsaan yang terjadi kini, dan pada masa depan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi Pancasila sebagai spiritualitas bangsa yang memerdekakan ditinjau dari perspektif pertanian. Tinjauan ini merupakan analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, kajian pustaka, yang memakai desain deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data-data tentang masalah nilai-nilai kebangsaan yang semakin tergerus, infiltrasi terhadap ideologi Pancasila sebagai dasar negara didalami, dibahas, sehingga dapat memberikan gambaran yang dapat memberikan insight baru akan Pancasila sebagai Spiritualitas bangsa yang memerdekakan. Spirit kebangsaan mengisyaratkan pentingnya komitmen, loyalitas setiap anak bangsa agar tetap konsisten pada orientasi fundamental hidup berbangsa, kecintaan akan tanah air satu, bahasa yang satu dan bangsa yang satu Indonesia. Kesetiaan itu bukan hanya mencakup batas geografis, budaya dan agama tetapi dalam sebuah negara-bangsa, nilai dasar kemanusiaan transendental dapat menjadi tolok ukur sistem sosial politik, hukum dan ekonomi sehingga nilai-nilai spiritual Pancasila dapat membebaskan dan memerdekakan bagi setiap warga negara.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The community of Watu Lanur village, like many rural communities in Indonesia, faces various challenges, particularly a lack of knowledge and skills in utilizing local resources such as legumes to increase their economic value. This condition requires cognitive stimulation and behavioral change, as well as support from external parties to help them create added value from agricultural products To achieve this goal, students from the Manggarai Student Association (IMAPELMA) of Ende Regency, through the Student Service Camp (KKBM) program, came to provide knowledge and skills training through a socialization activity on making tempeh from non-soybean legumes. Another aim of this student-led initiative was to improve community welfare so that their financial needs could be met more effectively, while also instilling a spirit of creativity and innovation toward self-reliance. The method used in the socialization began with a dialogue with the villagers and a pre-test before the training. After that, the students conducted a training session on how to make tempeh using legumes cultivated by the villagers themselves. At the end of the activity, a post-test was given to assess the villagers’ understanding and commitment to utilizing local resources, as well as to measure the growth of their creativity and innovation in line with their increasing knowledge and skills. Although it was their first time learning to make tempeh from non-soybean legumes, the villagers successfully produced it and showed a notable improvement in understanding compared to before the training. ABSTRAK Masyarakat desa Watu Lanur, seperti halnya masyarakat pedesaan di Indonesia pada umumnya, menghadapi berbagai persoalan, terutama kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam mengelola potensi lokal seperti kacang-kacangan agar memiliki nilai ekonomis. Kondisi ini membutuhkan stimulasi kognitif dan perubahan perilaku, serta dukungan dari pihak luar untuk membantu mereka menciptakan nilai tambah dari hasil pertanian. Untuk memenuhi tujuan itu, mahasiswa Ikatan Pelajar dan Mahasiswa Manggarai (IMAPELMA) Kabupaten Ende dalam kegiatan Kemah Kerja Bhakti Mahasiswa (KKBM) hadir untuk memberikan bantuan pengetahuan dan keterampilan melalui kegiatan sosialisasi pembuatan Tempe berbahan baku kacang nonkedelai. Adapun tujuan lain dari kegiatan mahasiswa dalam sosialisasi ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat, dan secara finansial kebutuhannya dapat terpenuhi  dengan baik. Juga menanamkan jiwa kreatif, dan inovatif menuju kemandirian. Metode yang dilakukan dalam sosialisasi ini, diawali dialog kepada masyarakat desa dan melakukan test diawal sebelum sosialsiasi. Setelah itu, memberikan pelatihan pembuatan tempe dari kacang-kacangan yang dihasilkan sendiri oleh warga desa. Pada akhir kegiatan sosialisasi, warga desa diberikan test untuk mengetahui sejauhmana mereka paham dan komit untuk memanfaatkan potensi lokal yang ada di lingkungannya dan kreativitas, serta inovasinya berkembang seiring dengan maju dan berkembangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang mampu mereka tampilkan. Meskipun baru pertama kali mereka belajar membuat tempe dari kacang-kacangan selain kedele, namun mereka berhasil membuatnya secara sempurna, dan pemahamannya juga ada perubahan yang lebih baik dari sebelum dilakukan sosialisasi.

Abstract

This Research aims to examine and determine the relationship between local wisdom, social capital and sustainable development.  The  data  and  information used in  writing this  article comes from literature studies nd literature reviews of vrious  writings and  documents relevant to local  wisdom,  social capital and sustainable development. Both offline library documents written  online.  The  result of the study show that the  relationship between local wisdom (IndigenousKnoledge) and  social  capital with  sustainable  development  is that local   wisdom is the knowledge of local people wwho  hve lived in  place for a long time,  base on  values developed from  generation.  Social  capitl   is  wwht llows local  communities to  survive and develop sustainably base on  local  wisdom,  Where community knowledge in certain Fields (Economic Activities,  Social  activities and environmental adaption) is  beneficial   for the  surrounding  environment whilw maintaining environmental sustainability,  and has  been carried out for generations.  From  generations   to  generation.  Knowledge of  costoms and  social  capital  are important factors that have a significant impact on  community economic  growth and  sustainable   development. Although formal  reseach on  Indigenous Konwledge and social capital  is still scarce and currently under  development,  several preliminary studies on mutual cooperation and wwork institutions are very helpful for  rural communities, at leas opening  wider opportunities as the main benchmark for more intensive and in-depth reseach on  working practices and mechanisms as well as the sustainability of lokal  wisdom and  social  capital  in  Indonesia,  especially in  rural  areas.

Abstract

Tendambonggi village has considerable agricultural potential, particularly in corn and peanuts. However, most farmers still use conventional methods, rely on a single crop, and lack the skills to manage their harvest into value-added products. This situation has resulted in agricultural production not being able to contribute optimally to improving the community’s economy. This program aims to utilize corn and peanut harvests as raw materials for the development of superior food products through training and assistance based on local innovation. Implementation methods include socialization activities, training in the manufacture of processing products such as corn tempeh, corn flour, and corn noodles, as well as training in the processing of fried peanuts as a food product unique to Tendambonggi Village. In addition, the program also integrates an agroecological approach through the use of natural organic fertilizers to improve soil fertility and reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers. The results show an increase in the community’s skills in processing crops into food products that are competitive in the market, as well as a growing awareness of the importance of innovation and agricultural sustainability. This activity is expected to encourage the formation of joint business units that manage corn and peanut processing independently and sustainably, while strengthening food security and the local economy in Tendambonggi Village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh minat belajar dan disiplin belajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa, serta menguji peran motivasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi pada siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Ende. Permasalahan utama yang melatarbelakangi penelitian adalah rendahnya motivasi dan disiplin siswa, terlihat dari sikap pasif, kurang percaya diri, serta ketidaksiapan mengikuti pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket tertutup, observasi, dan dokumentasi nilai rapor. Sampel berjumlah 128 siswa, diambil menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar dan disiplin belajar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui motivasi belajar sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini mendukung teori motivasi Vroom dan konsep hasil belajar Bloom, sekaligus menunjukkan bahwa motivasi merupakan penghubung penting antara sikap, perilaku regulatif, dan prestasi akademik. Implikasi penelitian menekankan bahwa peningkatan minat dan disiplin belajar perlu dilakukan melalui pengalaman belajar yang kontekstual, sejalan dengan prinsip pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Guru berperan sebagai manajer pembelajaran yang menggunakan pendekatan manajemen kinerja untuk meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan perilaku belajar siswa.
