Abstract

Agricultural activity in several villages in the Riawajo Watershed (DAS) is very high. The high agricultural activity will affect the quality of the watershed. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on evaluating land capability classes in the Riawajo watershed, Sikka Regency. The variables observed were soil texture, salinity, soil structure, slope, effective depth of soil, erosion damage, rock conditions, flood threat, and drainage. The data is processed by the arithmetic matching method. The results showed that the agricultural lands in the villages in the Riawajo watershed were in the first class and were still able to support their agricultural activities.

Abstract

Air sumur di Kelurahan Tarus diduga telah terkontaminasi nitrit dan kadmium yang berasal dari pemakaian secara berlebihan pupuk SP-36 dan Urea. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan untuk membandingkan konsentrasi kontaminan nitrit dan kadmium dalam air sumur di daerah persawahan dan pemukiman dengan ambang baku mutu air baku air minum dan memprediksi besarnya risiko dari kontaminan terhadap kesehatan manusia. Penelitian deskriptif eksperimental ini menggunakan maing-masing 10 sampel air sumur dari daerah persawahan dan pemukiman. Kadar nitrit dan kadmium dianalisis dengan metode spektrofotometri dan spektrofotometri serapan atom. Baku mutu air minum dan air baku air minum berdasarkan PP 82 tahun 2001 dan PerMenKes 492 tahun 2010. Prediksi risiko terhadap kesehatan manusia dilakukan berdasarkan metode analisis risiko Public Health Assessment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di daerah persawahan dan permukiman berturut-turut terdapat tiga dan lima sumur yang mengandung nitrit namun kandungan tersebut masih berada di bawah nilai baku mutu air baku air minum. Sedangkan untuk kadmium, terdapat berturut-turut delapan dan tujuh sumur di daerah persawahan dan permukiman kandungannya berada di atas nilai baku mutu air baku air minum. Analisis risiko menunjukkan bahwa nitrit di persawahan dan pemukiman tidak berisiko terhadap kesehatan, sedangkan kadmium persawahan dan pemukiman yang berisiko sebanyak 14 sampel untuk durasi waktu 30 tahun, 12 sampel untuk 20 tahun, 10 sampel untuk 10 tahun dan tiga sampel untuk lima tahun. Karena itu diharapkan adanya pengurangan volume konsumsi air sumur yang berisiko, dan penanganan air tanah yang tercemar serta pengurangan pemakaian pupuk anorganik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas yang terkandung dalam pupuk organik cair kirinyu, gamal, lamtoro dan campuran (kirinyu, gamal serta lamtoro). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair kirinyumengandung C-Organik 0.576%, N-Total 0.046%, P 0.020%, K 0.160%, Ca 0.032%, Mg 0.017%, pH 4.5 dan C/N Rasio sebanyak 13. Pupuk organik cair gamal mengandung C-Organik 0.584%, N-Total 0.056%, P 0.029%, K 0.163%, Ca 0.012%, Mg 0.019%, pH 4.2 dan C/N Rasio sebanyak 10. Pupuk organik cair lamtoro mengandung C-Organik 0.584%, N-Total 0.068%, P 0.029%, K 0.158%, Ca 0.023%, Mg 0.018%, pH 4.4 dan C/N Rasio sebanyak 9. Pupuk organik cair dari bahan campuran mengandung C-Organik 0.561%, N-Total 0.057%, P 0.029%, K 0.180%, Ca 0.014%, Mg 0.017%, pH 4.7 dan C/N Rasio sebanyak 10. Pembuatan pupuk organik cair berbahan dasar kirinyu, gamal, lamtoro dan bahan campuran mempunyai kualitas yang baik.

Abstract

High phosphorus (P) content and continuous fertilization cause P saturation, nutrient imbalance in the soil, low efficiency, and the possibility of other nutrients such as Zn becomes unavailable. Therefore it is necessary to research to determine the content of phosphorus in rice fields and rice in Woloau Village, Maurole District, Ende Regency. This study uses a survey method, where the determination of soil samples done by a purposive method. With this method, three hamlets were obtained, which cultivated Ciherang and Inari rice varieties. The main variables observed were available P and total soil P, P in rice. The supporting variables are C-Organic and soil pH. C-Organic is a percentage of fertility in the soil consisting of various C (carbon) bonds. The soil pH is the acidity or basicity of an object measured on a pH scale between 0 to 14. The results of research this show that the mainstay of P is available in paddy soils, namely 96.49 ppm, 101.9 ppm, 97.99 ppm, 98.32 ppm, 95.01, and TC3 99.11 ppm with very high criteria. The total P content in paddy soil is 177.54 ppm, 208.39 ppm, 192.61 ppm, 163.21 ppm, 161.99 ppm, 175.92 ppm with very high criteria. The P content in rice is 1201.88 ppm, 1197.34 ppm, 1230.11 ppm, 1231.23 ppm, 1240.51 ppm, 1248.09 ppm.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of microorganisms from local microorganisms and determine their quality. This research is a descriptive study, where the results of the analysis of microbial content are described by the standard microbial content in Local Microorganisms. The results showed that Local Microorganisms from the leaves of Kirinyu, Gamal, Lamtoro and vegetables wastes contained Lactobacillus, Saccharomyces mushrooms, Actinomycetes fungi, and phosphate solvent bacteria (BPF). Local microorganisms from these materials have not been able to produce good quality because they are still lower than the minimum technical requirements based on Minister of Agriculture Regulation number 70 of 2011, while Saccharomyces mushroom microorganism content, pH and phosphate solvent bacteria (BPF) are in accordance with technical requirements all types of local microorganisms positively contain phosphate solvent bacteria (BPF).

Abstract

Evaluation soil fertility in dusun kekawii III randotonda Village, Ende District, Ende Regency. This study aims to determine the physical properties of the soil and the level of suitability of the land in Kekawii III hamlet, Randotonda village, Ende District, Ende Regency. Research is exploratory research, by evaluating physical properties, the evaluation results are described and compared with the standard physical properties of existing soil. The results of the study show that the soil properties in Kekawii III Hamlet are the soil texture of the sandy soil, clay. In structures, the types that exist are rounded lumps, lumpy angles, granular structures. On the color of the land dominated by Dark brown, Very dark gray, Very dark grayish brown. The consistency of land, it can be seen that these lands have a consistency that is sticky, plastic, loose, soft. The pH of the soil ranges from 4.2-6.4 and the slope ranges from 5% - 12%

Abstract

Economic Study of Leaf Vegetable Farming and Vegetable Marketing Channel Systems in Ende Regency.This study aims to conduct an economic study of leaf vegetable farming and vegetable marketing channel systems in Ende Regency. This research was carried out in several sub-districts which were the center of vegetable production in the traditionally cultivated Regency of Ende. The sub-districts that were the object of research were Kelimutu Subdistrict, Lepembusu Kelisoke, Detusoko, Wolojita. The observation variables in this study were farming income, farming costs, economic life of farming, and vegetable distribution systems. Variable analysis using financial analysis was used to determine the criteria for evaluating investment feasibility of vegetable farming. This financial analysis uses NPV and B / C Ratio. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the B / C ratio is 12.6, which means that the vegetable farms of Ende District respondent farmers deserve to continue to be cultivated. While the NPV value is Rp. 20,912,730.34. Vegetable distribution of leaves of respondent farmers in Ende district using a direct sales system to retailers on the market. Based on the values ??obtained, the vegetable farms of farmers in Ende Regency are worthy to continue.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of bokashi fertilizer dosage on the physical and chemical properties of soil on tomato plants and the optimum dose of bokashi fertilizer which can provide the best influence on the physical and chemical properties of the soil. The research design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with a single factor pattern consisting of five treatments namely B0 = 0 tons ha-1 bokashi fertilizer (control), B1 = 5 tons ha-1 bokashi fertilizer, B2 = 10 tons ha-1 bokashi fertilizer, B3 = 15 tons ha-1 bokashi fertilizer, B4 = 20 tons ha-1 bokashi fertilizer. The observation variables in this study were soil volume/bulk density (gr /cm3), total soil pore space (%), N- total soil, available P-soil, available K-soil, soil C-organic, and soil pH. The results showed that the administration of bokashi fertilizer was able to improve the physical properties of soil in tomato plants, namely the weight of the soil volume decreased by 1,120 gr / cm³, water holding capacity increased by 30.24%, and soil pore space increased by 57.74%, so that the soil aggregate became good Giving doses of bokashi fertilizer can improve soil chemical properties in tomato plants, namely C-organic 0.91% very low, N-total soil 0.32% medium, P-available 37.25 ppm very high, and K-available 425.64 ppm very high and soil pH to 6.81 neutral. The supply of 20 tons/ha of bokashi fertilizer can improve soil physical and chemical properties optimally in tomato plants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the activity of farmers and the physical properties of soil on rice fields in the village of Detusoko Barat, Detusoko District, Ende Regency. The research method used is the method of purposive sampling. The research was carried out in paddy fields in the village of Detusoko Barat and in the soil chemical laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Undana. Farmer activity variables observed were rice cultivation such as seedbed, land preparation, planting, fertilizing, maintaining, harvesting. Variable physical characteristics that are analyzed temperature, rainfall, humidity, drainage, texture, effective depth, slope, surface rock, rock outcrop. The results showed that the activities of farmers in the village of West Detusoko carried out rice cultivation twice a year, tillage using a tractor and fertilizing using inorganic fertilizer. The physical properties of soil in the ciherang rice variety in Detusoko Barat village are generallyclassified as very suitable (S1) class. And in rice varieties, Bengawan also generally belongs to the (S1) class very appropriate.

Abstract

The problems faced are the use of inorganic fertilizers that damage the level of soil organic matter decreases, soil structure is damaged, and environmental pollution. This research utilizes liquid organic fertilizer, kirinyu because it has N elements which are high enough to provide yield of ground water spinach plants and soil physical properties. This study aims to determine the effect of nitrogen fertilizer efficiency on soil physical properties and the effect of nitrogen fertilizer efficiency on land kale yield. The study was arranged based on 2 factors: the outcome variable using a randomized block design (RBD) and the variable saving of Soil Physical Properties. The results of statistical analysis show that the efficiency of nitrogen fertilization on the yield of ground water spinach plants has a very significant influence on yield variables which include fresh weight of land spinach tan-1 (g) and fresh weight of water spinach ha-1 (ton). The efficiency of nitrogen fertilization on the yield of ground water spinach plants has a very significant effect with an average increase in each treatment for fresh water spinach per plant by 27.97% and the fresh weight of water spinach per hekatar by 27.97%. The efficiency of nitrogen fertilization on the physical properties of the soil in kangkung cultivation in Lokoboko village has sandy clay soil texture, has a density value of contents ranging from 1.33 g / cm - 1.37 g / cm and soil porosity 45.46% - 50.22 %. The soil color is dominated by 10 YR 2/1 Black and 10 YR 2/2 Very Dark Brown, having soil temperatures ranging from 25,250C - 26,750C.
