Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of social harmony in the perspective of Islam in contemporary society, considering the influence of global contexts and technological developments. A deep understanding of the religious values of Islam, active involvement in religious activities, and contributions to social activities are the focus of the study. The research method uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through religious literature studies, analyzing government regulations related to social harmony, and direct observation of the social dynamics of contemporary society. The data is then analyzed qualitatively to identify patterns in maintaining social harmony. The results show that understanding religious teachings is the main foundation for maintaining harmony, while active involvement in religious activities and contributions to social activities play a crucial role in forming harmonious social relationships. Challenges related to differences in religious understanding and the impact of global contexts and technological developments highlight the complexity of maintaining social harmony. As a recommendation, this study emphasizes the need for inclusive religious education, promotion of active involvement in religious activities, and strengthening social activities as key steps. Strategies to adapt to global and technological changes are also identified as important steps to overcome these challenges. The conclusion of this study is expected to provide guidance for stakeholders in dealing with the complex dynamics of maintaining social harmony in the perspective of Islam in contemporary society that is constantly changing.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the application of Michael Rifaterre's semiotic approach in discussing heuristic and hermeneutic reading methods in the book of Burdah. This research used a qualitative approach with a focus on text analysis. The method used involves Michael Rifaterre's semiotic approach as the main framework. Data was collected through literature studies related to Burdah and semiotic approaches, as well as analysis of Burdah texts using heuristic and hermeneutic lenses. The results showed that the heuristic approach helps reveal symbolic and metaphorical elements, while the hermeneutic approach deepens the understanding of the historical and cultural context surrounding Burdah. Thus, a combinative reading of both approaches forms a more holistic understanding. The study concluded that Michael Rifaterre's semiotic approach can be an effective framework for analyzing heuristic and hermeneutic readings in classical Islamic texts such as Burdah. The combination of the two approaches enriches the understanding of literary work, revealing deeper layers of meaning.

Abstract

The rapid development of the halal industry requires a deeper understanding of factors can increase public awareness, trust, and attitudes towards halal products. This study aims to analyze the influence of lifestyle and digital literacy on halal awareness and its impact on individual beliefs and attitudes towards halal products using the theory of planned behavior approach. This study involved 300 respondents from Indonesia and Malaysia, who were selected using purposive sampling techniques, with the criteria of a Muslim sample who regularly buys and consumes chicken and actively seeks halal information through digital platforms. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach to test the relationships among variables. The results of the study show that lifestyle and digital literacy contribute positively to increasing halal awareness. Halal awareness has been proven to have a significant role in shaping trust and attitudes towards halal products. These findings confirm that increasing halal awareness can strengthen public acceptance of halal products and build consumer loyalty. The implications of this study highlight the importance of wider education and campaigns related to halal lifestyle and digital literacy to improve public understanding. Halal industry players are advised to strengthen product transparency, utilize digital technology in disseminating information, and collaborate with various parties, including the government and religious institutions, to create a stronger and more sustainable halal ecosystem. The findings of this study have significant implications for economic development, especially in the context of the halal industry and economic development based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Implementation of Class Repetition Guidance in Developing Academic Ability of New Students at Madrasah Qudsiyyah Kudus. This study aims to describe the implementation of repeating class tutoring in growing the academic abilities of new students at Madrasah Qudsiyyah Kudus. This study uses Field Research Methods (field research) with qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The research data collected was then analyzed using a deductive approach and an inductive approach. The results showed that first, the guidance process in repeating classes for new students entering the Madrasah Qudsiyyah Kudus was that when they wanted to enter the Madrasah Tsanawiyah level, they had to repeat the first class in MI class voluntarily, even though they had graduated from SD or MI. Second, the tutoring for repeating the classes carried out at Madrasah Qudsiyyah is by grouping according to their abilities. Fourth, the tutoring model for repeating classes at Madrasah Qudsiyyah is carried out in groups by forming a separate curriculum which can focus on the basic salafiyah curriculum as a provision of salafiyah material at an advanced level. Fifth, this basic salafiyah guidance material is carried out by all teachers, not only burdened by counselors.Keywords: Guidance, Repeating Class, Madrasah Qudsiyyah
