The santri craft business unit, grocery store unit, laundry and canteen are managed by the santri in the Islamic boarding school environment. The problems faced in developing student entrepreneurship are from the perspective of students as the main object of entrepreneurship education. The solution to problems in this service activity is by carrying out FGD activities, coaching and mentoring, and business motivational lectures. The target participants are students, caregivers, administrators, parents/guardians of students, and business and entrepreneurship practitioners/experts. The FGD resource persons were the service team and cottage caretakers. The targets of motivational training are students who have been involved in managing the Islamic boarding school business unit. Motivational lecture speakers are members of the service team. The stages of implementing service activities are the pre-implementation stages of service activities, the stages of implementing service activities, and the post-service activity stages. Service activities can run well and smoothly and consist of three sub-activities, namely delivering entrepreneurship material in the general stage, FGD for stakeholders, and mentoring for students who run Islamic boarding school business units. The first and second activities were carried out successfully. Islamic boarding school stakeholders can convey ideas and concepts in developing student entrepreneurship and Islamic boarding school business units. The third activity has also been carried out by providing reinforcement for students who receive the mandate to run Islamic boarding school business units such as laundry, drinking water, canteen, and others. New business ideas for Islamic boarding schools must be analyzed carefully considering the potential and development of the Patemon area and its surroundings.

Abstract

AbstractPalm sugar is a processed product made from the sap of the sugar palm plant. Palm sugar contains many nutrients, including potassium, iron, fiber, magnesium, antioxidants, phosphorus, and so on. Palm sugar is also very safe for consumption by diabetics, because the inulin content has a low glycemic index of 35. One of the palm sugar processing community groups in Central Java Province is the Joint Business Group (KUB) of the UMKM Sukses Bersama "Sukma" located in Peron Village, Limbangan District, Kendal Regency. The current obstacle is the limited production tools for post-harvest processing, so that the sale of palm sugar has not yet reached processed food products. Not only are there limitations in physical production facilities, but the knowledge and skills of target partners are also still limited to increase the added value and economic value of palm sugar products. The implementation method is socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation as well as program sustainability. Some Appropriate Technologies (TTG) handed over to target partners include stirring machines, stoves, frying pans, ovens and so on. Meanwhile, post-harvest palm sugar processing includes avocado brownies, crispy avocado brownies, avocado milk and kaduga drink. Digital marketing assistance for the business is provided with the active involvement of students. Keywords: product diversification; palm sugar; post-harvest; community empowerment; appropriate technology.

Abstract

Education is one of the main factors in improving the quality of human resources. The improvement of student learning outcomes is not only influenced by individual abilities, but also by the availability of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as optimal teacher performance. MA Minhajut Tholabah as an Islamic boarding school-based educational institution in Purbalingga Regency faces challenges related to limited facilities and the need to improve teacher professionalism. This condition encourages the importance of research on models of improving student learning outcomes based on facilities and infrastructure as well as teacher performance. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation involving madrasah heads, teachers, and students as the main data sources. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, accompanied by triangulation to ensure the validity of the data. The focus of the research is directed at the identification of the condition of facilities and infrastructure, management evaluation, and the role of teacher performance in improving student learning outcomes. The results of the study show that the facilities and infrastructure at MA Minhajut Tholabah are still mostly limited, especially laboratories and libraries. However, these limitations can be overcome with proper management and support from the school and committee. Teacher performance has been proven to have a significant effect on motivation and achievement of student learning outcomes, especially through varied learning strategies and character strengthening.
