Orang tua adalah role model bagi anak, sehingga perilaku orang tua dapat dicontoh oleh anak. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada perilaku makan anak yang menunjukkan picky eater atau pilih-pilih makan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Cross Sectional. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah anak usia toddler dan ibunya.  Analisa data menggunakan Uji Spearman Rank  Hasil menunjukkan bahwa perilaku makan orang tua memiliki hubungan yang kuat dengan kejadian sulit makan (picky eater) pada anak usia toddler. Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan informasi bagi UPTD Kesehatan Kecamatan Kepanjenkidul Kota Blitar untuk menginformasikan akan pentingnya memberi contoh makan yang baik khususnya bagi orang tua yang memiliki anak usia toddler.Kata Kunci:  Perilaku Makan Orang Tua, Kejadian Sulit Makan (Picky Eater), Anak Usia ToddlerABSTRACTToddler age (1-3 years old) is the golden age (golden period) which children has grown and developed vastly. Parent is a role model for children, so parent’s behavior should become a model for their children. This matter can be seen in children’s picky eating behavior. This research used Cross Sectional method. Samples of this research are toddler-age children and their mother. Data analysis of this research was using Spearman Rank Test. The findings of this research shows that parent’s eating behavior has a relationship with picky eater case at toddler-age children. It can be concluded that parent’s eating behavior has a relationship with picky eater case at toddler-age children .This research can be used as an information for Health UPTD (Regional Technical Implementation Unit) Kepanjenkidul Village in Blitar City to inform the others the importance of giving the children good examples of eating behavior especially for parent that have toddler-age children.Keywords: Parents’ Eating Behavior, Picky Eater Case, Toddler-Age Children.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of communication skill, collaboration, and decision-making upon self-efficacy upon Indonesia nurse’s self-efficacy in performing neonatal resuscitation. The research employed analytical descriptive design with cross-sectional study approach. The data were collected using questionnaire. Moreover, the research was carried out in Malang City area with the total of 75 nurses employed at neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) room and perinatology unit. Meanwhile, for data analysis, product moment correlation and linear regression were employed. The presence of influence of communication skill, collaboration, and decision-making upon nurse’s self-efficacy in performing neonatal resuscitation can be an inestimable reference for the need of objective evaluation on nurse’s capability and reflection on skills they have acquired. Communication skills p=0.000 (<0.05), collaboration p=0.000 (<0.05), preparation of results p=0.000 (<0.05) with the effectiveness of nurses in the management of neonatal resuscitation. In addition, multiple linear regression showed communication skills p=0.000, B=0.253 was the most dominant factor influencing nurses' self- efficacy when handling neonatal resuscitation in hospitals in Malang City of Indonesia. This study found an association related to communication skill, collaboration, and nurse decision making. Communication skills are the dominant factor influencing the efficacy of nurses in performing neonatal resuscitation care.

Abstract

WHO determined the stunting tolerance (short-height), maximally 20% or a fifth of the whole toddler numbers. The initial report in 2018 showed 1,237 toddlers suffering stunting from the whole 14,285 toddlers in Batu. This research aims to describe the role of stunting toddler volunteers to accompany families with toddlers in Javanese Batu. This was a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The data were collected by in-depth interview. The data analysis results consisted of five research themes. They were: (a) the volunteers accompany the families by firstly detecting the stunting toddler indication, (b) the main focus of the volunteers was educating them about toddler-nutritious meals, (c) all participated volunteers were women, (d) the volunteers facilitated the communication and consultation for all the guided families, (e) their motivation to be volunteers was a social spirit to help each other and contribute to the community and social life. Generally, the volunteers had accompanied the family excellently. The given education by the volunteers consisted of toddler meal and nutrition and strategies to instill excellent behaviors for both the children and families. Abstract

Introduction:  The condition of the corona virus makes a new change for children starting from learning methods that require a brave system and clean and healthy living habits (PHBS) in everyday life. Objectives: The objective of this research was to find out the correlation between the parents’ behaviors and the clean and healthy life behavioral habits (PHBS) for children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods:  This research used a cross-sectional method. This research took samples from mothers with children aged 6-12 years old with a total of 45 participants. They were taken randomly. The data collection used questionnaire filling directly. The data analysis used the spearman-rank correlation. Results The findings showed a significant correlation between the parents’ behaviors and the PHBS of the children. The parents’ behaviors toward of the results are excellent behavior (31%) and poor behavior (19%). The spearman test showed a p-value of 0.000. It indicated the correlation of parents with the clean and healthy life habits of children during the COVID-19 pandemic. Conclusions: The parents’ behaviors became the role model for the children to promote the habits of living clean and healthy every day.

Abstract

Neonatal asphyxia is a form of gravity that occurs in neonates. It is a condition when the baby cannot breathe spontaneously and regularly after birth. The management of neonatal resuscitation is carried out by the health team. It is provided by nurses, midwives, and physicians. To identify the evidence of health team readiness in administering neonatal emergencies is useful to succeed neonatal resuscitation. The selection was conducted by following PRISMA flow diagram. It was also criticized by JBI tool. The search keywords were “Readiness Factor” and “Neonatal Resuscitation”. The steps consisted of making questions, identifying, eligibility, article inclusion selection, screening, and appraisal. After 11 relevant articles were collected, they were analyzed in a systematic review. The finding shows that readiness in carrying out neonatal resuscitation requires preparation from both the health team that administers these actions. It consists of six dimensions. These dimensions are knowledge, clinical skills, self-efficacy, handling algorithms, facilities, and medicine. They are interrelated with one another towards a successful neonatal resuscitation.

Abstract

Introduction: The condition of covid infects all walks of life, not worrying for children. The role of the family is needed to maintain the resilience of children in preventing the transmission of covid 19 Objectives: This research aims to review the importance of Family Center Care to Increase child resilience during the covid 19 pandemic. Methods: This research applied a literature study. Literature was searched from 4 databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed (NCBI). Results: Family Center Care is an approach applied for children during the COVID-19 pandemic condition. Its implementation requires parents to do their roles to provide various matters to improve the knowledge, skills, capabilities, health, understanding, and prevention of COVID-19. On the other hand, it has a procedural challenge that could be solved by parents by applying an excellent coping strategy. Conclusions:  Family Center Care is an excellent approach for children in this COVID-19 pandemic. The research focus was to observe the parents that were the closest people to children. Their existences could facilitate the psychological needs for security and quality of health. The family center cares actively involve parents and identifies or facilitates the most appropriate need for children in minimizing the children's anxiety.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The role of parents in mentoring the child's growth and development phase is very important. How parents provide sexual education to children has not been widely illustrated, this reality is very concerning, considering that the news exposed today contains a lot about the increase in the level of violence that occurs in children, especially sexual violence. The purpose of this study is to identify parents' attitudes and behaviors towards the prevention of sexual violence in children, especially from a health perspective. This research method uses observational analysis with a cross-sectional study approach. The population and sample were parents who had school-age children (aged 6-12 years) in East Java. The data were taken using a questionnaire containing questions about attitudes and behaviors in terms of the prevention of sexual violence in children carried out by parents and will be analyzed with a chi square test. The results of this study showed that good parental attitudes have a relationship with parental behavior towards the prevention of sexual violence in children in a health perspective with a category of good behavior of 20 respondents, enough 58 respondents, and less 3 respondents. Meanwhile, parents' attitudes are quite good in relationto parental behavior towards the prevention of sexual violence in children in a health perspective with a good category of 6 respondents, enough 43 respondents, and less than 10 respondents. The conclusions of this study show that parents' attitudes in educating and preventing sexual violence against children are influenced by several factors such as education, level of knowledge and parents' habits. Keywords: Attitudes, Behaviors, Parents, Sexual Violence, Children

Abstract

ABSTRACT The covid 19 virus has affected children, and adolescents and children now account for more than a fifth of new cases in parts of the world. Vaccination is carried out from all ages, including children over 6 years old. But the challenge is about how parents can vaccinate their children. This is important to do because parents are the key in all decision-making determinants in children. In addition, this study is important to be carried out as an evaluation material in achieving the coverage of the covid 19 immunization target in children.  The purpose of this study was to identify actors who influenced the level of parental anxiety towards covid 19 vaccination in Children. This research method uses descriptive analysis with a cross sectional study approach. The population and sample are parents who have children aged 6-18 years. This study used an accidental sampling method with the number of 30respondents of parents who had children aged 6-18 years. The research sites are located in several elementary schools in the Malang city area that have carried out covid 19 vaccinations. The results of this study showed that the age of <50 years old parents, namely 16 people (53.3%), of which 18 people (60%) did not experience anxiety.  Ibu household (IRT) which was 17 respondents (56.7%) with a mild anxiety level of 5 people, respondents were dominated by those with 2 children, namely 21 people (70%) consisting of 4 people experiencing severe anxiety. Conclusion: The results show that parents who have psychological factors are related to the level of parental anxiety towards covid 19 vaccination in children. Keywords: Covid-19, Anxiety, Parents, Vaccination in Children

Abstract

ABSTRACT Sudden death due to COVID-19, will have an impact on the family and causes grief, devastating and traumatic. To prevent the Coronavirus high transmission rate during pandemic has provided a new perspective on dying and rituals worldwide and needs reform. Funeral practices that should give comfort and support were not possible, which can increase feelings of isolation, loss, and despair on family. This study aims to find out what information already exists in the bereaved family grieving process related to the funeral ceremony policy during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used literature review from 21 articles from four electronic databases: MEDLINE (Ovid), Embase, EBSCOhost, and Scopus, and added the search from other references as grey literature. The literature was reviewed chronologically to demonstrate how grieving process went through by bereaved family related to the funeral policy during COVID-19 pandemic. The findings of the selected literature review and equipped with grey literature, shows how family involvement in each funeral’s stage of the deceased: planning, within and post ceremony, having a relationship and impact on the priesthood and success of the grieving process on the family left by Covid-19. We underline that it is essential to be present in the burial process, starting from involvement in planning, attending, and believing the funeral process and after it is necessary to note. Future research is still needed to review more literature with a mix-method study.
