Abstract

Introduction: The condition of covid infects all walks of life, not worrying for children. The role of the family is needed to maintain the resilience of children in preventing the transmission of covid 19 Objectives: This research aims to review the importance of Family Center Care to Increase child resilience during the covid 19 pandemic. Methods: This research applied a literature study. Literature was searched from 4 databases, namely Google Scholar, PubMed (NCBI). Results: Family Center Care is an approach applied for children during the COVID-19 pandemic condition. Its implementation requires parents to do their roles to provide various matters to improve the knowledge, skills, capabilities, health, understanding, and prevention of COVID-19. On the other hand, it has a procedural challenge that could be solved by parents by applying an excellent coping strategy. Conclusions:  Family Center Care is an excellent approach for children in this COVID-19 pandemic. The research focus was to observe the parents that were the closest people to children. Their existences could facilitate the psychological needs for security and quality of health. The family center cares actively involve parents and identifies or facilitates the most appropriate need for children in minimizing the children's anxiety.

Abstract

Sisir village cadres have made various efforts to reduce the risk of stunting by providing additional food for three months and then evaluating the increase in height and weight, but the changes have been insignificant. Other efforts are still needed that can spur and trigger success in alleviating the problem of stunting. This service program aims to increase the competence of health cadres in preventing the risk of stunting. The method used is through training (training), which involves activities giving planned special instructions, in this case, instructions or special training on making healthy menus to prevent toddler stunting, including an introduction to protein sources and calculations—calories needed by Toddlers. The mentoring results obtained an increase in understanding from the cadres, with the lowest result being 58% and the highest being 95%. Another result is an increase in the skills of cadres in processing and producing healthy nutrition for toddlers to prevent stunting.ABSTRAKDalam menurunkan resiko stunting, kader kelurahan Sisir sudah melakukan berbagai upaya dengan melakukan pemberian makanan tambahan selama 3 bulan, dan selanjutnya sudah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap peningkatan tinggi dan berat badan, namun perubahan yang didapatkan belum signifikan. Masih diperlukan upaya lain yang dapat memacu dan memicu keberhasilan mengentaskan masalah stunting. Tujuan dari program pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kompetensi kader Kesehatan dalam mencegah resiko stunting. Metode yang dilakukan adalah melalui pelatihan (training) dimana melibatkan aktivitas-aktivitas pemberian instruksi-instruksi khusus yang direncanakan, dalam hal ini adalah instruksi atau pelatihan khusus pembuatan menu sehat untuk mencegah stunting bagi balita, termasuk di dalamnya pengenalan tentang sumber-sumber protein dan penghitungan kalori yang dibutuhkan Balita. Hasil dari pendampingan, diperoleh peningkatan pemahaman dari para kader dengan hasil terendah adalah 58% dan tertinggi adalah 95%. Hasil lainnya adalah peningkatan skill kader dalam pengolahan dan pembuatan nutrisi sehat balita dalam mencegah stunting.

Abstract

Siswa SMA Aisyiyah Boarding School Malang (SMA ABSM), adalah remaja yang dalam perkembangannya mulai memperhatikan penampilan diri, mulai tertarik dengan lawan jenis, berusaha menarik perhatian, namun tidak menjamin bahwa perilaku hidupnya bersih dan sehat, sehingga bisa berdampak pada kesehatan diri. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran tentang kesehatan melalui penguatan Unit Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS). Metoda pengabdian Masyarakat yang tepat dilakukan adalah PKM PAR/Participatory Action Research (PAR), dengan pemberdayan SDM dan pengembangan sarana UKS, diantaranya pelatihan pengelolaan UKS dan manajemen kasus, pelatihan skill rawat luka dan deteksi dini kesehatan, literasi pendidikan kesehatan. Dampak program pengabdian dirasakan adalah, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman tentang UKS, peningkatan kunjungan UKS sebagai bentuk kepuasan terhadap manajemen UKS, serta meningkatnya ketrampilan dalam layanan keperawatan, baik tentang deteksi dini kesehatan dan perawatan luka dengan Tingkat keberhasilan rata-rata 85%. Pemberdayaan SDM dan pengembangan sarana, sebagai bagian terpenting dari Pendekatan PKM Participatory Action Research, sangat berdampak signifikan dalam pembentukan kemandirian pengurus UKS baik dalam pengelolaan, manajemen kasus maupun peningkatan kesadaran dalam peningkatan Kesehatan.

Abstract

Background: Gastroenteritis is the main cause of death in children under five years of age with symptoms of dehydration, which causes high mortality rates. Gastroenteritis risk factors include poor hygiene, unclean water supplies, and lack of parental knowledge. Providing health education regarding gastroenteritis is very important to increase mother’s knowledge. WhatsApp bot and lectures are effective media that can be used in health education. Objectives: To determine the effectiveness of WhatsApp bot-based educational media and lectures in increasing knowledge of Gastroenteritis among housewives. Methods: The research method used was quasi-experimental using a two-group design posttest only. The research was conducted in Singosari, Malang, using two different groups with a sample size of 50. Group 01 was given education using WhatsApp bot media, while group 02 was given education using lecture media. The research data was tested using the Mann-Whitney test in SPSS version 25. Results: The demographic data obtained shows that the average number of respondents is (60%) not working or a housewife. The research results show a difference between giving education using the lecture method and WhatsApp bot media on housewives' knowledge level. Mother’s knowledge about gastroenteritis increased after being given education using two different media. The group using lecture media had a better increase in knowledge than the group using WhatsApp bot media. Conclusion: Health education regarding gastroenteritis based on lecture media is more effective than WhatsApp bot media in increasing mothers' knowledge about preventing gastroenteritis in children

Abstract

Pendahuluan Pandemi covid 19 mulai memberikan dampak secara global, sehingga hampir semua negara harus menghadapi krisis kesehatan dan social ekonomi yang parah, bahkan belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya. Aktifitas kehidupan anak dan keluarga seakan terhenti, tak terkecuali, negara Indonesia turut merasakan hal ini. Penyakit yang dimunculkan akibat infeksi covid 19 dapat menyerang siapa saja. Hingga saat ini tercatat ada 145 anak meninggal dunia akibat virus corona baru atau COVID-19 di Indonesia, jauh lebih tinggi dibanding negara-negara lain (Ainun Najib, 2020). Negara Indonesia memegang rekor tertinggi dalam hal tingkat kematian anak di Asia Pasifik akibat covid 19 dengan rata-rata sebesar 2,5% (IDAI, 2020). Guna mendukung upaya yang telah digalakkan oleh pemerintah, maka peran unit terkecil yaitu keluarga sangatlah penting. Kendali kehidupan anak-anak terletak pada tingkat ketrampilan orangtua dalam menerapkan pola asuh yang memadai. Pada masa pandemic covid 19 saat ini, perilaku orangtua dalam hal kesehatan sangat dibutuhkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari gambaran bagaimana perilaku orangtua dalam upaya pencegahan covid 19 pada anak. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskripsi observasional, dengan populasi semua orangtua yang memiliki anak usia 1-12 tahun. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian, ditunjukkan uji spearman rank didapatkan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,447 dan p value sebesar 0,054 (α<0,05). Kesimpulan ada hubungan antara perilaku orang tua terhadap pencegahan covid-19 dengan usia anak dengan tingkat hubungan yang cukup kuat (r=0,047) dan berpola positif, dimana makin bertambah usia anak, maka akan meningkatkan perilaku orang tua terhadap covid-19. Saran dalam penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan variable penelitian ini dengan cakupan responden yang lebih banyak dan analisis yang lebih akurat. Abstract

The National HIV/AIDS Strategy predicts that 86% of people with HIV (PLHIV) worldwide will know their HIV status by 2022, the remaining 14% do not know that they have HIV and still need access to HIV testing services. As an effort to realize the Sustainable Development Goals and to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS by 2030, the Indonesian Ministry of Health needs to design and implement appropriate prevention mechanisms related to HIV/AIDS by conducting early detection of HIV, namely by empowering Community Health Centers to provide HIV testing services and counseling. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing HIV testing at Public Health Centers among women of childbearing age in Indonesia. This study uses a cross-sectional design with data from the 2017 Indonesian Demographic Health Survey (SDKI). Data were analyzed using the logistic regression. The variable in this study were demographic sharacteristics and HIV testing. HIV testing at Public Health Centers among childbearing age in Indonesia was at 32.5%. Several factors influencing HIV testing were identified, including region (OR: 1.22, 95% CI: 1.10 - 1.35), wealth index (OR: 0.82, 95% CI: 0.74 - 0.91), residence (OR: 0.82, 95% CI: 0.74 - 0.91), health insurance coverage (OR: 1.15, 95% CI: 1.04 - 1.27), level of knowledge (OR: 0.92, 95% CI: 0.83 - 1.01), stigma (OR: 0.81, 95% CI: 0.73 - 0.90), and AIDS knowledge source from health professionals (OR: 1.90, 95% CI: 1.70 - 2.12). To optimize HIV testing coverage, healthcare workers should enhance awareness by providing comprehensive HIV/AIDS education. This can be done through various media, such as posters, brochures, and community-involved seminars. The government must ensure HIV testing services are accessible in all regions, including rural and remote areas. Additionally, continuous monitoring and evaluation of HIV testing programs at Public Health Centers are necessary. This will help improve and tailor programs to meet community needs and address influencing factors effectively.

Abstract

Background: The health of children aged 2-5 years is crucial for their growth and development and immune system. One important indicator of a child's health is their nutritional status. In Indonesia, malnutrition remains a challenge, with the prevalence among children aged 2-5 years reaching 17.1% in 2022. If left untreated, it can increase the risk of stunted growth, cognitive decline, and susceptibility to disease. Purpose: To increase mothers' knowledge about the importance of balanced nutrition for children aged 2-5 years using a website and flashcards. Method: The educational activity was held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM WIB in Sukoanyar Village, RW 04/RT 04. This activity used a case study design with a one-group pre-test and post-test technique. Lecture methods, website media, and flashcards were used. Respondents in this educational activity were two toddlers and their two mothers. Educational materials are presented to mothers through a website containing structured explanations, definitions, types, benefits, the four pillars of nutrition, messages, and factors influencing balanced nutrition. Toddlers are also provided with illustrated flashcards and simple text to facilitate understanding. Results: Balanced nutrition education using a website and flashcards successfully improved the knowledge of mothers and children aged 2–5 years. The website education for mothers resulted in pre-test scores of 30 for respondent 1 and 50 for respondent 2, followed by post-test scores of 90 for respondent 1 and 80 for respondent 2, and post-test scores of 90 for respondent 1 and 90 for respondent 2. Meanwhile, flashcard education for toddlers resulted in pre-test scores of 6 for respondent 1 and 7 for respondent 2, and post-test scores of 10 for respondent 1 and 12 for respondent 2. Conclusion: The website and flashcards proved effective in improving mothers' knowledge of balanced nutrition and the understanding of children aged two to five years. The intervention demonstrated not only significant improvements in scores but also post-intervention knowledge retention and increased child engagement in the learning process. Suggestion: Balanced nutrition education programs need to be implemented routinely and sustainably by expanding the number of participants and involving health cadres and village officials to strengthen local support and validate findings. These programs should be accompanied by regular evaluations to monitor knowledge retention and adapt materials. They should also include the development of interactive content such as video tutorials and online quizzes to enrich learning methods and increase participant interest. Keywords: Early childhood; Flashcards; Nutrition education; Website media Pendahuluan: Kesehatan anak pada usia 2-5 tahun sangat menentukan proses tumbuh kembang dan daya tahan tubuh, salah satu indikator penting kesehatan anak ialah status gizinya. Di Indonesia, masalah gizi kurang masih menjadi tantangan dengan prevalensi pada anak usia 2-5 tahun mencapai 17.1% pada tahun 2022, jika tidak ditangani dapat menimbulkan risiko anak mengalami gangguan pertumbuhan, penurunan kemampuan kognitif dan mudah terserang penyakit.  Tujuan: Meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang pada anak usia 2–5 tahun dengan menggunakan media website dan flashcard. Metode: Kegiatan edukasi dilaksanakan pada hari rabu, 02 juli 2025 pada pukul 13.00-14.00 WIB berlokasi di Desa Sukoanyar RW 04/RT 04. Kegiatan ini merupakan edukasi dengan desain penelitian case study dengan teknik one group pre-test dan post-test. Menggunakan metode ceramah, media website dan juga flashcard. Responden dalam edukasi ini adalah 2 balita dan 2 ibunya. Materi edukasi disajikan kepada ibu melalui situs web yang memuat penjelasan terstruktur, penyampaian definisi, jenis, manfaat, prinsip empat pilar, pesan, dan faktor yang memengaruhi gizi seimbang. Penjelasan kepada balita dengan media flashcard bergambar berteks sederhana untuk memudahkan pemahaman. Hasil: Edukasi gizi seimbang dengan media website, dan flashcard berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu dan anak usia 2–5 tahun. Menunjukkan bahwa edukasi dengan menggunakan website pada ibu mendapatkan skor pre-test responden 1 adalah 30 dan responden 2 adalah 50, selanjutnya untuk skor post-test1 responden 1 adalah 90 dan responden 2 adalah 80, kemudian untuk skor post-test2 responden 1 adalah 90 dan responden 2 adalah 90. Sedangkan untuk edukasi dengan menggunakan flashcard pada balita mendapatkan poin pre-test responden 1 adalah 6 dan responden 2 adalah 7, selanjutnya untuk poin post-test responden 1 adalah 10 dan responden 2 adalah 12. Simpulan: Media website dan flashcard terbukti efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu mengenai gizi seimbang serta pemahaman anak usia dua hingga lima tahun. Intervensi menunjukkan tidak hanya peningkatan skor yang signifikan, tetapi juga retensi pengetahuan pasca intervensi dan peningkatan keterlibatan anak dalam proses pembelajaran. Saran: Program edukasi gizi seimbang perlu dilaksanakan secara rutin dan berkelanjutan dengan memperluas jumlah peserta serta melibatkan kader kesehatan dan perangkat desa untuk memperkuat dukungan lokal dan memvalidasi temuan, disertai evaluasi berkala guna memantau retensi pengetahuan sekaligus menyesuaikan materi, serta pengembangan konten interaktif seperti video tutorial dan kuis online untuk memperkaya metode pembelajaran dan meningkatkan minat peserta.

Abstract

Background: Nursing documentation serves as evidence of responsibility and legal protection for nurses in carrying out their duties. This documentation serves as an authentic record of the implementation of professional nursing care and can therefore be used as a basis for accountability for all actions taken by nurses. Should legal issues arise related to the nursing profession, complete and accurate documentation can serve as valid evidence in court. However, inadequate nursing documentation remains an internationally recognized problem in healthcare. In emergency nursing, which requires a fast-paced, high-pressure work environment that can determine the life or death of a patient in a matter of minutes, nurses are required to possess high competency to carry out the nursing process skillfully, precisely, and accurately. In addition to providing immediate action, emergency nurses are also required to create complete, accurate, and legally compliant nursing records. Purpose: To formulate nursing documentation based on the Indonesian Nursing Diagnosis Standards (INDS), the Indonesian Nursing Outcome Standards (INOS), and the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (INIS) in the emergency department (ER). Method: This community service activity began in December 2024, focusing on developing nursing documentation in accordance with the INDS, INOS and INIS standards in the Emergency Room. The process was carried out through collaboration between the community service team, emergency room nurses, and nursing students. This activity included observation and subsequent discussion of the systematics and documentation models applied in the emergency room. The next stage included a lecture presentation to explain the documentation model and create a nursing documentation form template, coordination with emergency room nurses, and designing an initial nursing record format appropriate to the needs of emergency services. Results: The nursing documentation used was a mixture of manual and electronic formats, did not fully adhere to the INDS, INOS and INIS, and contained irregularities in the writing of nursing documentation. The community service team, along with partners, successfully identified the 10 most frequently encountered medical diagnoses in the emergency room at UMM Hospital and used these as the basis for developing a standardized nursing documentation form that integrates elements of the INDS, INOS and INIS. Conclusion: The community service program ran well and had a positive impact on improving nurses' knowledge in applying and documenting the INDS, INOS and INIS guidelines in the emergency department (ER). Suggestion: Future activities can be more applicable and conducted sustainably. Sustainable mentoring activities in preparing nursing documentation based on the INDS, INOS and INIS can be integrated with the Hospital Management Information System (MIS). Keywords: Documentation; Emergency department; INDS; INIS; INOS; Nursing process Pendahuluan: Dokumentasi keperawatan berfungsi sebagai bukti tanggung jawab dan perlindungan hukum bagi perawat dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Dokumentasi ini merupakan catatan autentik dari pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan profesional, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai dasar pertanggungjawaban atas seluruh tindakan yang dilakukan perawat. Apabila terjadi masalah hukum terkait profesi keperawatan, dokumentasi yang lengkap dan akurat dapat menjadi bukti yang sah di pengadilan. Namun, dokumentasi keperawatan yang kurang memadai masih menjadi masalah yang diakui secara internasional pada layanan kesehatan. Pada keperawatan gawat darurat yang memiliki lingkungan kerja cepat, penuh tekanan, dan dapat menentukan hidup-matinya pasien dalam hitungan menit, perawat dituntut memiliki kompetensi tinggi untuk melaksanakan proses keperawatan secara terampil, tepat, dan akurat. Selain memberikan tindakan segera, perawat gawat darurat juga diwajibkan membuat catatan keperawatan yang lengkap, tepat, dan sesuai ketentuan hukum. Tujuan: Merumuskan dokumentasi keperawatan berdasarkan Standar Diagnosa Keperawatan Indonesia (SDKI), Standar Luaran Keperawatan Indonesia (SLKI), dan Standar Intervensi Keperawatan Indonesia (SIKI) di instalasi gawat darurat (IGD). Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dimulai pada bulan Desember 2024 dengan fokus pengembangan dokumentasi keperawatan sesuai standar SDKI, SLKI, dan SIKI di IGD. Proses dilaksanakan melalui kolaborasi antara tim pengabdian, perawat IGD, dan mahasiswa keperawatan. Dalam kegiatan ini adalah melakukan observasi dan selanjutnya menelaah dengan berdiskusi mengenai terhadap sistematika dan model dokumentasi yang telah di aplikasikan di IGD. Tahap berikutnya adalah melakukan presentasi dengan metode ceramah untuk memaparkan secara sederhana model pendokumentasian dan pembuatan template formulir dokumentasi keperawatan, koordinasi dengan perawat IGD, dan perancangan format awal catatan keperawatan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan layanan gawat darurat. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa dokumentasi keperawatan yang digunakan masih bersifat campuran antara format manual dan elektronik, belum sepenuhnya mengacu pada SDKI, SLKI, dan SIKI serta terdapat ketidakteraturan dalam penulisan dokumentasi keperawatan. Tim pengabdian bersama mitra berhasil mengidentifikasi 10 diagnosis medis yang paling sering ditemukan di IGD RS UMM dan menjadikannya dasar penyusunan formulir dokumentasi keperawatan terstandar yang mengintegrasikan elemen SDKI, SLKI, dan SIKI. Simpulan: Program pengabdian masyarakat berjalan dengan baik dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan perawat dalam mengaplikasikan dan melakukan dokumentasi menggunakan pedoman SDKI, SLKI dan SIKI di instalasi gawat darurat (IGD). Saran: Pelaksanaan kegiatan selanjutnya bisa lebih aplikatif dan dilakukan secara berkesinambungan. Keberlanjutan kegiatan pendampingan dalam penyusunan dokumentasi keperawatan berbasis SDKI, SLKI dan SIKI dapat diintegrasikan dengan SIM RS.

Abstract

In 2015 in Indonesia was estimated that one per 250 children had autism. Children suffering from autism will experience a variety of developmental disorders, one of which is social and motoric subtle abilities. One of the efforts to reduce uncontrolled child behavior and developmental disorders in children with autism is with play therapy. The goal of the study was to identify the variety of play therapies and their effects on children with autism based on literature studies. The research design used in this study is a literature study with a sample of 14 journals, Pubmed (n = 3), Google Schoolar (n = 10) and science direct (n = 1) then conducted a quality assessment with JBI tools getting 15 journals that did data extraction and data analysis. The results of this study are that there are various play therapies that have an effect on. Out of a total of 14 atikels that have been reviewed, various play therapies were obtained on the social ability and subtle motooric abilities of children with autism. There are 7 articles with 4 types of play therapy on the social abilities of children with autism, namely Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Filial Therapy and Theraplay. In addition to the types of play therapy that affect social ability, there are 7 articles with two types of play therapy that have an influence on fine motor skills in children with autism, namely Autplay and Child-Centered Play Therap (CCPT)  Abstrak: Pada tahun 2015 di Indonesia diperkirakan satu per 250 anak menderita autisme. Anak yang menderita autisme akan mengalami berbagai gangguan perkembangan, salah satunya adalah kemampuan sosial dan motorik halus. Salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi perilaku anak yang tidak terkontrol dan gangguan perkembangan pada anak autis adalah dengan terapi bermain. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi variasi terapi bermain dan pengaruhnya terhadap anak autis berdasarkan studi literatur. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur dengan sampel 14 jurnal, Pubmed (n = 3), Google Schoolar (n = 10) dan science direct (n = 1) kemudian dilakukan penilaian kualitas dengan tools JBI mendapatkan 15 jurnal yang melakukan ekstraksi data dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat berbagai terapi bermain yang berpengaruh. Dari total 14 tikels yang telah ditinjau, diperoleh berbagai terapi bermain terhadap kemampuan sosial dan kemampuan motorik halus anak autis. Terdapat 7 artikel dengan 4 jenis terapi bermain terhadap kemampuan sosial anak autis yaitu Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT), Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Filial Therapy dan Theraplay. Selain jenis terapi bermain yang mempengaruhi kemampuan sosial, terdapat 7 artikel dengan dua jenis terapi bermain yang berpengaruh terhadap motorik halus anak autis, yaitu Autplay dan Child-Centered Play Therap (CCPT).

Abstract

Pecel chili sauce is a food whose main ingredient is peanuts as a complement to the vegetable menu [1].  The food processing industry is very much carried out by the community, especially by groups of mothers [2].  The pecel seasoning that is produced is different from what especially consuming vegetables.  Assistance efforts are made for these businesses to improve the quality of production and marketing. The mentoring method is by providing training, direct practice in making roasted pecel spices and more contemporary packaging practices. The results of this activity are that pecel seasoning comes with more contemporary packaging, the business has a P-IRT, marketing via social media and online shops.is usually available on the market. By using simple technology, we can produce pecel seasoning with a delicious, traditional taste. The advantage of this pecel seasoning product lies in processing the nuts without frying them in oil, namely using a roasting system. The roasting principle is applied with the consideration that this food is not high in fat, so that it is safe for consumption by children to adults, even people suffering from metabolic diseases, for example hypertension, cholesterol, etc. This business has quite good potential, considering that currently it is becoming a trend among people to live a healthy lifestyle.
