Abstract

This study developed a learning solution for Islamic Religious Education by integrating digital flipbooks and Outcome Based Education at SMA 15 Adidarma Banda Aceh. The study emerged from the need for learning that is more engaging, measurable, and compatible with students’ digital learning habits. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through classroom observation, interviews with PAI teachers, and analysis of instructional documents. The findings indicate that learning becomes more focused when teachers align learning outcomes, interactive flipbook materials, project-based activities, and authentic assessment. Digital flipbooks make PAI content easier to access and review, while OBE keeps learning oriented toward clear final outcomes The study shows that this design is feasible as a model for strengthening PAI learning in secondary schools.

Abstract

Technological developments in the digital era demand a transformation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching methods to remain relevant, engaging, and applicable for students. This study aims to analyze the implementation of PAI learning strategies and design models in the digital era, focusing on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) models. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review approach (library research) by analyzing various scientific literatures related to educational technology and PAI learning methodologies. The results show that the integration of digital-based PjBL models (such as creating Islamic educational video projects, Islamic history infographics, or religious social campaigns on social media) can enhance students' creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. Meanwhile, technology-assisted CTL models (such as contextual case studies through YouTube videos or digital discussion platforms) successfully bridge abstract religious materials with students' daily social realities. In conclusion, the combination of digital-based PjBL and CTL learning designs is proven effective in creating PAI learning that is not only student-centered but also meaningful, contextual, and adaptive to the times.

Abstract

Community health problems related to inadequate nutritional intake and low consumption of functional foods remain significant challenges in rural areas of Aceh Province, Indonesia. Limited access to healthy probiotic products and the lack of practical entrepreneurial skills among teachers also contribute to low family health awareness and limited economic productivity. This community service program aimed to improve teachers’ knowledge and practical skills in producing household-scale yogurt as a healthy probiotic food while simultaneously promoting creative economic opportunities. The program was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Jeumpet, Aceh Besar, involving 12 active teachers as participants. The implementation method consisted of five stages: socialization and preparation, theoretical and practical training, technology application and production trials, business management mentoring, and sustainability monitoring. The program applied a participatory and hands-on approach using appropriate technology and simple household equipment. The results showed significant improvements in participants’ understanding of nutrition, probiotics, food sanitation, and yogurt production techniques. Participants successfully produced plain and fruit-flavored yogurt products using local ingredients and simple fermentation technology. In addition, the teachers demonstrated increased entrepreneurial motivation through product branding, simple financial management, and digital marketing practices. The program also produced several outputs, including a yogurt production module, educational presentation materials, posters, audio-visual documentation, and a scientific publication manuscript. Overall, the program contributed positively to improving family health awareness, practical life skills, and community-based creative economic development in the school environment.
