Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the impact of female employee performance through multiple role and gender conflicts. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis and supported by previous journals related to variables accompanied by the use of in-depth interview techniques. The results of this study based on interviews and support theories and previous journals stated that there is an influence on performance through conflicts of dual roles and gender seen from how the imbalance of roles and beliefs is still minimal for female employees compared to men. Then to improve performance there needs to be motivation and sharing in exploring the potential to show women can be equally trusted by supporting women's empowerment in managing roles. So that, performance improvement can be accompanied by family harmony that is maintained and the trust of fellow colleagues. It can therefore be stated that there was an effect of performance through conflicts of dual roles and gender on the performance of female employees in the Regional Income Management Agency (BAPPENDA) bogor regency.

Abstract

The capital market is one of the long-term financial instrument trading platforms in a country in carrying out its function, which is to attract investors to invest. The growth of the Indonesian capital market is expected to continue to be positive and sustainable with transparent information. The development of information regarding the COVID-19 pandemic which first appeared in China had an impact on its economic sector. The corona virus has spread throughout the world including Indonesia, the emergence of cases of transmission and the number of victims that continues to increase has an impact on weakening people's purchasing power. This study used the Paired Sample T-test and Normality method with SPSS 23. The period used was monthly, starting from May 2018 to October 2020 before and after the pandemic case occurred. The first data analysis used was the normality test with the Shapiro-Wilk test approach. Based on the results of the research and discussion conducted, it can be seen that there is a significant difference from the value of the Indonesian Composite Stock Price Index for the last 15 months which shows positive and significant results where the hypothesis test accepts the hypothesis Ha and rejects H0. These results are in line with research conducted by previous researchers before and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap Komunikasi Interpersonal dan berpengaruh langsung dengan Kinerja Pegawai. Penelitiam ini dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 103 pegawai Kecamatan Bogor Selatan diolah dengan aplikasi SPSS dengan metode analisis jalur. Diperoleh hasil analisis jalur pengaruh efikasi diri terhadap komunikasi interpersonal: Standardized Coefficients = 0,759, signifikansi = 0,000 < 0,05, dan uji t hipotesis: t hitung 11,701 > t tabel 1.98373. Artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan Efikasi Diri terhadap Komunikasi Inerpersonal. Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Kinerja Pegawai: Standardized Coefficients = 0,400, signifikansi = 0,000 < 0,05, uji t hipotesis: t hitung 4,861 > t tabel 1.98373. Artinya terdapat pengaruh signifikan Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Analisis pengaruh Efikasi Diri melalui Komunikasi Interpersonal terhadap Kinerja Pegawai: Standardized Coefficents = 0,304, dan total pengaruh yang diberikan Efikasi Diri terhadap Kinerja Pegawai = 0,803. Artinya secara tidak langsung Efikasi Diri melalui Komunikasi Interpersonal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Kinerja Pegawai. Maka dari itu Kecamatan Bogor Selatan dalam penerapan Efikasi Diri dan Komunikasi Interpersonal dapat meningkatkan Kinerja Pegawai.

Abstract

Problem-based learning (PBL) is an innovative approach that can improve students' problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In the context of Business Mathematics, PBL offers a way to connect mathematical theory with real-world applications relevant to the business world. This study aims to explore the application of problem-based learning in Business Mathematics courses and analyze its impact on students' conceptual understanding and problem-solving abilities. The results show that PBL can improve students' learning motivation and understanding of mathematical concepts often considered difficult, such as financial analysis, interest calculation, and optimization. This study also provides recommendations for the development of problem-based learning methods in Business Mathematics education

Abstract

In everyday life, every human being is faced with problems where he must make decisions. Starting from simple things such as deciding to extend the morning sleep time with all the risks that will be faced, to difficult and even complex things. These decisions can be personal or social or short-term or long-term that inevitably must be decided. This study uses the literature review method and in discussing several theories used, case studies are conducted. Every decision-making will always face four conditions, namely Certainty, Uncertainty, Risk and Conflict. The EV value is obtained from the multiplication of Payoff with its probability. The largest EV value is the decision that must be taken. The EOL results show that the lowest is C, so stock C can be recommended for purchase by investors such as case 1. From the EVPI value of 108,056, the cost for analysts is 21,611, investors still get additional profit of Rp86,445 compared to if investors do not get perfect information. A high EV value is the best decision. (b) paying attention to the best opportunity loss (expected opportunity loss – EOL). The value with the lowest EOL is the best decision, (c) paying attention to perfect information (expected value of perfect information – EVPI). EVPI pays attention to the perfect information factor so that it can optimize the level of profit

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how rewards and penalties affect PT. Catur Putra Jaya Depok Branch employees' motivation for their work. With a population of 85 employees, this study employs a quantitative methodology and gathers data using questionnaires. Data analysis was done using validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, t-test, f-test, and determination coefficient (R2). The results of the validity test showed that all questionnaire items were valid with a value of r calculated > r table (0.213). Every variable in the reliability test has a Cronbach's Alpha value greater than 0.6, so it is declared reliable. Partially, the award has a correlation coefficient of 0.430 with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, and the punishment has a significance level of 0.000 > 0.05 an a correlation value of 0.477, showing that both have a significant effect on work motivation. Simultaneously, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.228, which indicates that 22.8% of the difference in employee work motivation was influenced by rewards and punishments, while the rest of 77.2% was impacted by other factors that were not studied. Thus, companies are advised to improve the reward system and strengthen the application of penalties so that employee work motivation is more optimal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the work environment and leadership style of school principals at SMP Negeri 13 Bogor City affect teachers' job satisfaction. The methodology of this research is quantitative. To collect data, a questionnaire was distributed to all 34 teachers in the population, creating a saturated sample. Validity tests, reliability tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients are used to examine the data collected. With an r value calculated higher than 0.338 in the r table, the validity test findings indicate that each item on the questionnaire is valid. According to the reliability test, the Cronbach Alpha value of each variable is higher than 0.6, so the data is declared reliable. In part, the leadership style has a correlation value of 0.402 with a significance of 0.018 <0.05, and a correlation coefficient of the work environment of 0.567 and a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. Simultaneously, the determination coefficient (R²) is 0.432, the F test with an F value calculated as 11.806> the F table is 3.30 with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then Ho3 is rejected and Ha3 is accepted. According to the findings of the study, the job satisfaction of teachers of SMPN 13 Bogor City is positively and significantly influenced by their leadership style and work environment.
