Abstract

In early 2020 the world received a disaster where a new virus was discovered that could cause death if exposed to the virus. So that many activities are disrupted, one of which is teaching and learning. So that makes teaching and learning activities carried out online using a quiz website. The purpose of this research is to identify user needs in using an online quiz website. The Design Thinking method is a method for understanding users and defining problems and finding solutions to design. The result of the research that has been carried out is a quiz website design that can be used by teachers and students. The method used to test the results of the quiz website design is the System Usability Scale by giving questionnaires to teachers and students. From the results of the calculation of the questionnaire that has been distributed, it gets a value of 72, which means that the design results made are quite good.

Abstract

Stikubank University, located in Semarang, has implemented an E-learning application. However, there have been several user complaints regarding its UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience). Consequently, this issue has been chosen as the subject of research. The research primarily focuses on redesigning the UI and UX using the Design Thinking methodology, which encompasses the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data collection was conducted through interviews with a total of 6 participants, comprising 4 students and 2 lecturers. The objective of the research is to determine how appealing and user-friendly the current E-learning application at Stikubank University is. For the testing phase, the researcher utilized the System Usability Scale (SUS) to evaluate the usability of the prototype. The testing results using the SUS get a score of 75.75, which the 'good' category (grade B).

Abstract

This study developed the SMA Islam Hidayatullah website using the Design Thinking method to enhance student engagement and improve the communication efficiency of school organizations such as OSIS, Rohis, DA, Askar, and PMI. The method involved the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, engaging collaboration between students, organization members, and teachers to understand and meet user needs. The results demonstrate that the Design Thinking approach is effective, with the website offering interactive features such as discussion forums, event calendars, and multimedia galleries. The website successfully increased student engagement, as evidenced by improved interaction among students, and enhanced communication among members by improving the quality and efficiency of information shared. The implications of using Design Thinking show that this approach creates solutions better aligned with user needs and enhances their satisfaction and involvement. Recommendations include developing additional features such as instant messaging, user training, and regular monitoring to ensure the website’s maximum benefits. The use of Design Thinking has proven to provide better solutions in school website development, improving student engagement and organizational communication efficiency.

Abstract

Implementation of Distance Learning (PJJ) is effective in the teaching and learning process during the pandemic. This is supported by Unisbank students in mastering information technology. PJJ technology, also known as e-learning, is a bridge between lecturers and students in the process of meeting in class into a meeting process in cyberspace. E-learning becomes ineffective when the demand for e-learning usage is high, causing server overload or crashes. When the e-learning server is overloaded, all parts that are usually connected and interrelated, such as lecturers, students, administration and others, become disconnected. The importance of monitoring the e-learning server to keep the e-learning load under control, and the server that has a lot of load will be divided so that e-learning will run smoothly and not be overloaded. Monitoring the Elearning server with the Least Connection method is applied to the Unisbank e-learning server and makes e-learning not overloaded. The results of the load balancer workload test with 1000 connections, the resulting response time is 0.2 ms, the workload is 5000 connections, the response time is 0.2 ms and the workload is 10,000 connections, the resulting reply time is 0.2 ms.

Abstract

Di era teknologi informasi saat ini, salah satu hal yang sangat penting adalah internet. Tanpa penggunaan teknologi internet, hal ini tidak terpikirkan di era informasi. Karena banyaknya persyaratan akses dan komunikasi, jaringan harus berfungsi dengan baik. Operator jaringan dan penyedia layanan internet (ISP) harus mampu menyelesaikan masalah utama, yaitu memberikan layanan yang baik sehingga pelanggan dapat menikmati layanan yang nyaman dan layanan yang baik. Internet sering digunakan untuk layanan video streaming seperti YouTube dan Netflix. Seiring dengan bertambahnya pengguna, membuat internet lambat yang bisa disebabkan dari layanan internet yang lambat, gangguan pada ISP, dan kelebihan device yang terhubung ke modem. Dengan internet yang lambat menyebabkan buffering, rebuffering, dan kualitas video yang buruk. Oleh karena itu diperlukannya analisis Quality of Service jaringan internet Fiber Optic pada layanan First Media dengan tujuan mengetahui kualitas jaringan berdasarkan parameter QoS (delay, throughput, jitter, packet loss). Pada analisis ini menggunakan metode Action Research dengan software Wireshark dan Axence netTools 5. Berdasarkan hasil analisis QOS dengan software Wireshark mendapatkan hasil rata-rata throughput sebesar 47.285 kbps dengan kategori jelek, packet loss sebesar 0% dengan kategori sangat bagus, delay sebesar 66.24 ms dengan kategori bagus, jitter sebesar 66.21 dengan kategori sedang. Software Axence netTools 5 mendapatkan hasil rata-rata throughput sebesar 1354.033 kbps dengan kategori sedang sedang, packet loss sebesar 0.08% dengan kategori sangat bagus, delay sebesar 17.05 ms dengan kategori sangat bagus, jitter sebesar 51.08 dengan kategori sedang. Dari hasil analisa 2 software bahwa kualitas layanan internet ISP First Media dalam kategori “Kurang Memuaskan” dengan persentase 68,75%.

Abstract

One of the places for community-based Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is through the Quran Education Park (TPQ). Not all TPQs implement qualified and modern learning methods and media according to the needs of today's education to realize the goals of PAI. The purpose of this service is to realize the goals of PAI at TPQ Raudahtul 'Ulum with conventional-based learning assistance and training methods with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and digital. Assistance is carried out by installing ICT and digital devices with TPQ teachers. Meanwhile, training is carried out by combining ICT and digital-based learning media with Reading and Writing the Quran (BTA), books and Educational Game Tools (APE) with Islamic themes. The use of a combination of learning media aims to make learning easy, complete, interesting, creative and innovative, and can be done online and students can learn through their own gadgets. As a result, TPQ teachers have become proficient in installing ICT and digital devices and are able to understand and teach combination learning.

Abstract

Kabupaten Klaten memiliki kekayaan wisata yang beragam, mencakup wisata alam, sejarah, dan budaya. Namun, informasi destinasi masih tersebar dan tidak terstruktur, menyulitkan wisatawan dalam menemukan rekomendasi yang sesuai. Kurangnya akses terhadap informasi terkini juga menjadi kendala dalam perencanaan perjalanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan chatbot berbasis kecerdasan buatan menggunakan Natural Language Processing (NLP) melalui Dialogflow. Chatbot ini dirancang untuk memberikan rekomendasi wisata secara interaktif dan mudah diakses melalui Telegram. Metode yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan prototipe, dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem, implementasi, hingga pengujian. Data wisata dikumpulkan dari sumber terpercaya untuk memastikan keakuratan informasi yang diberikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa chatbot mampu memberikan rekomendasi wisata berdasarkan kategori tertentu serta menyajikan informasi terkait lokasi, jam operasional, harga tiket, dan fasilitas. Pengujian black-box membuktikan chatbot merespons pertanyaan dengan akurasi 100%. Evaluasi usability menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) memperoleh skor rata-rata 85%, menandakan chatbot ini mudah digunakan dan memberikan pengalaman interaktif yang baik. Kesimpulannya, chatbot ini menjadi solusi inovatif untuk menyediakan informasi wisata dengan cepat dan efisien, serta berpotensi meningkatkan promosi wisata di Klaten.

Abstract

Taman pintar “Tunas Bangsa” saat ini telah menyelenggarakan berbagai macam kegiatan termasuk Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (KBM). Namun demikian masih banyak fasilitas KBM yang belum memadai, termasuk belum tersedianya perangkat teknologi pembelajaran. Kendalanya aktifitas pembelajaran menjadi kurang  efektif, sehingga kurang menarik minat belajar terutama siswa PAUD, anak, dan remaja yang tergabung dalam komunitas tersebut. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah melakukan pendampingan instalasi perangkat  Android TV, internet, dan pendukungnya, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan pembuatan materi ajar multimedia sederhana yang dapat dterapkan pada perangkat tersebut.  Metodenya yaitu melakukan survei analisis situasi, persiapan kebutuhan perangkat pembelajaran dan pelatihan, pendampingan instalasi Android TV dan internet, dan pelatihan multimedia sederhana dengan MS-Powerpoint, serta monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan kegiatan. Hasilnya, instalasi perangkat multimedia berbasis Android TV telah terlaksana dan dapat digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Setelah mendapat pendampingan dan pelatihan, mitra telah dapat mengoperasikan  perangkat, dan dapat mengunakan aplikasi multimedia sederhana pada proses pembelajaran dengan perangkat Android TV.

Abstract

Media information related to the internship is still difficult to obtain, making it difficult for students and students to search for internships. Information about apprenticeships is sometimes incomplete in providing the required requirements as well as unclear registration methods. Sometimes there are students and students who don't have a place for paid internships according to their expertise and so far. This study aims to build a system that can be utilized to provide convenience for students and students in finding information on paid internships and searching data using sequential searching methods. The sequential searching method is used to search for the status of paid internship applications whether accepted or rejected based on the internship application number. From the results of testing the data search as much as 15 times out of 350 data using the sequential searching method, the average value of the search time is 15.336 ms, the fastest search process is 10.982 ms and the longest search process is 19.634 ms.

Kusuma Kopi Semarang still uses an ordering system that is still manual in terms of ordering, so an ordering system is made menu with the application of a combination of QR Code technology with website. To develop this research, the method used First Come First Served (FCFS). Using this method process Menu ordering is more effective because customers place orders First, you will immediately get service.
