Abstract

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja pencapaian komposit IPM di JawaBarat pada periode 1993-2006. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisispencapaian IP sebagai salah satu komposit pembentuk IPM (AMH, RLS, ILS, IP,) di Jawa Baratpada periode tahun 1993-2006.Penelitian ini bersifat analisis ex-post facto evaluation. Metode yang dipergunakan adalahanalisis forcasting dengan menggunakan teknik proyeksi. Data yang dikaji merupakan datasekunder yang dipublikasikan secara resmi oleh BPS.Hasil penelitian bahwa selama periode 1993-2006: 1) RLS bertambah 1,25 tahun;pencapaiannya 7,80 tahun/tahun; pertumbuhannya 2,37% (0,18486/tahun). 2) AMHbertambah 6,96%; pencapaiannya sebesar 95,07%; pertumbuhannya 0,50% (0,475385%/tahun); buta hurup tersisa 4,27%. 3) AHH bertambah 7,23 tahun (68,28 tahun);pencapaiannya 67,70/tahun; pertumbuhannya 0,54% (0,36558 tahun). 4) IP bertambah7,47 poin; pencapaiannya 80,9 poin/tahun; pertumbuhannya 0,91%/tahun (0,73 poin).Selama periode 1993-2006 IP di Jawa Barat mencapai lompatan sebesar 7,47 poin. Rataratapencapaiannya 80,9 poin/tahun sedangkan pertumbuhannya mencapai 0,91%/tahun atau(0,73 poin). Pada tahun 2006 IP sudah mencapai 81,69 poin. Dengan kinerja tersebut padatahun 2010 IP diperkirakan akan mencapai 84,61 poin. Data menunjukan ternyata pencapaianIP tersebut lebih banyak disumbang oleh faktor AMH sebesar 79.05% sementara RLSmenyumbang 20,94%. Pertumbuhan selama kurun waktu lebih kurang 13 tahun terakhir initidak menggambarkan akselerasi yang progresif, artinya pula pembangunan pendidikan berjalanrelatif stagnan tanpa ada perubahan yang berarti. RLS hanya bertambah 1,25 tahun denganpertumbuhan 2,37% (0,18486 tahun) dan masing ada gap RLS 6,96 tahun. Dilihat dariakselerasi secara umum perkembangan angka RLS di semua daerah menunjukkan pertumbuhanpositif walaupun amat lamban dan cenderung stagnan, fluktuasinya antara 6-7 tahun.Secara keseluruhan akselerasi pencapaian RLS di daerah Kota lebih tinggi dibandingkandaerah Kabupaten. Fenomena ini sekaligus merefleksikan masih terjadinya ketimpangan antaradaerah perkotaan dan nonperkotaan sekaligus menunjukan pula bahwa perlakuan pembangunanmasih belum merata.

Abstract

The function of the workshop/laboratory management in Vocational High Schools has not been fully utilized, it is only limited to the use of student practicum places and has not been widely used by managers in improving the quality of workshops/laboratories in schools. The management of workshop/laboratory facilities is very important in improving the quality of teachers and students in meeting the quality of learning and the results of the quality of learning in order to improve the quality of graduates. Vocational High Schools are basically not only intended to understand theoretical mastery but must also have theoretical and practical competence in meeting performance criteria. Thus the teacher has a very important role in mastering and managing the workshop. Workshop / Laboratory Management Training for Practical Subject Teachers at SMK Pandeglang Regency is carried out to improve teacher management in managing workshop/laboratory facilities at SMK.

Abstract

The success of education development will be largely determined by the availability of educational resources as the main variable in providing educational services. Other factors are geographical conditions, demographic conditions, economic conditions, and the capacity of the population itself. This study examines the correlational-contributive relationship between these factors with the Gross Participation Rate (GER) in junior high schools in West Java. The data studied were 2015-2019 (5 years). Quantitative research methods with descriptive analysis. The results showed that the educational resources variable can explain the effect of 88, 14% on the total GER. The geographical condition variable can explain the effect of 63.96% on the total GER. The demographic condition variable explains the effect of 94.2% on the total GER and the KE variable contributes approximately 89.21% to the achievement of the total GER for SMP. The population capacity variable gave a valuable contribution of 37.96%.

Abstract

The integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education has emerged as a promising approach for developing 21st-century skills, yet empirical evidence of its effectiveness in primary education remains limited. This study investigated the effectiveness of STEAM approaches on critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning among elementary school students. A quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent group posttest-only was employed involving 64 fifth-grade students at SDN Patrasana 1 during the 2024/2025 academic year. Participants were divided into experimental (n=32) and control (n=32) groups using purposive sampling based on equivalent baseline performance. The experimental group received STEAM-based instruction while the control group experienced conventional teaching methods. Data collection utilized validated instruments measuring critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes, supplemented by observation and documentation. Statistical analyses included normality testing, homogeneity assessment, MANOVA, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 27. The STEAM approach demonstrated statistically significant effects on both critical thinking skills (F = 14.861, p < 0.001) and scientific attitudes (F = 9.991, p = 0.002). Multivariate analysis confirmed simultaneous positive effects on both variables (p = 0.001). The STEAM approach explained 19.3% of variance in critical thinking skills and 13.9% of variance in scientific attitudes, indicating meaningful practical significance. These findings provide robust empirical evidence supporting STEAM education effectiveness in primary contexts, addressing a critical knowledge gap in educational research. The results validate theoretical frameworks emphasizing integrated approaches while demonstrating that STEAM implementation can successfully develop multiple learning dimensions simultaneously, supporting early intervention strategies for 21st-century skill development.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan hak setiap manusia yang terus ditingkatkan mutunya oleh pemerintah, salah satunya melalui kurikulum merdeka dengan profil pelajar Pancasila. Namun, implementasi profil pelajar Pancasila ini belum optimal, khususnya dalam mengembangkan daya kreativitas siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan kegiatan hasta karya pada ekstrakurikuler Pramuka berpengaruh terhadap penguatan dimensi kreatif pada profil pelajar Pancasila di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Laboratorium Percontohan UPI Serang menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain One-Group Pre-Test-Post-Test. Sampel terdiri dari 38 siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada dimensi kreatif siswa, dengan rata-rata skor Pre-Test 55,05 dan Post-Test 65,03. Uji Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test menghasilkan nilai Asymp. signifikansi 0,001 < 0,05, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan hasta karya berpengaruh positif terhadap dimensi kreatif siswa. Maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Temuan ini juga menegaskan bahwa kegiatan hasta karya berkontribusi positif dalam memperkuat dimensi kreatif siswa.
