Kelengkapan sistem keselamatan pasif dan inheren pada reaktor lanjut merupakan prasyarat utama. Makalah ini mengeksplorasi hasil desain konseptual sistem pembuang sisa panas pada pusat listrik tenaga nuklir berjenis Very High-Temperature Reactor. Tujuan riset ini untuk merancang sistem pembuang sisa panas pusat listrik tenaga nuklir yang terdapat pada dinding reaktor. Studi kinerja Reactor Vessel Auxliary Cooling System (RVACS) dilakukan pada dua jenis pendingin yaitu Timbal-Bismut dan Liquid Salt. Panas dari dinding reaktor dihapus melalui sirkulasi alamiah pada keadaan tunak. Analisis melibatkan sistem perpindahan panas secara radiasi, konduksi dan konveksi alami. Perhitungan perpindahan panas dilakukan pada elemen reaktor vessel, dinding luar guard vessel, dan pelat pemisah. Hasil analisis kecelakaan menunjukkan kedua jenis sistem pendingin reaktor dan sistem pasif sisa pembuangan panas cukup menghapus sisa panas hasil peluruhan dengan sirkulasi alami.ABSTRACTCompleteness of passive safety systems and inherent in advanced reactors is a major prerequisite. This paper explores the results of a conceptual design of the heat removal system at the nuclear power plant (NPP) type Very High-Temperature Reactor. The purpose of this research was to design the reactor vessel auxiliary cooling system (RVACS) of NPP located within the reactor walls. The RVACS performance study was conducted on two types of coolant: Lead-Bismuth and Liquid Salt. Heat was removed from the reactor vessel through the natural circulation in the steady state. Analyses of heat transfer systems involved radiation, conduction and natural convection. Heat transfer calculations were performed on the reactor vessel, guard vessel, and perforated plate. The results from the accident analysis showed that both types, the reactor coolant system and the passive residual heat removal system, adequately remove remaining heat of the decay by a natural circulation.

Penggunaan peralatan tegangan tinggi pada konverter elektronik daya atau modul daya memiliki pengaruh terhadap sistem isolasi peralatan yang digunakan. Efek yang dihasilkan adalah pelepasan sebagian atau partial discharge (PD), dimana hal tersebut depengaruhi oleh bentuk tegangan, yang mana fenomena PD ini adalah awal mula terjadinya kegagalan dalam suatu peralatan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan Pengukuran PD dengan mengacu pada Standar IEC 60270 yang menggunakan metode elektrik sebagai pengukuran yang digunakan untuk pengujian PD pada bahan PCB dengan alat ukur yang digunakan adalah RC detektor dan High Frequency Current Transformer (HFCT). Pengukuran PD dilakukan dengan membuat model elektroda yang digunakan pada pengujian untuk membuat sumber PD. Elektroda yang digunakan adalah model elektroda Homogen pelat-pelat. Pengujian pada PCB dilakukan untuk mengetahui karakteristik surface discharge pada disekitar antarmuka pelat-pelat elektroda. Parameter yang digunakan dalam pengukuran yaitu Partial Discharge Inception Voltage (PDIV), Partial Discharge Extinction Voltage (PDEV), Bentuk Gelombang PD, dan Pola Phasa PD.

The function of the workshop/laboratory management in Vocational High Schools has not been fully utilized, it is only limited to the use of student practicum places and has not been widely used by managers in improving the quality of workshops/laboratories in schools. The management of workshop/laboratory facilities is very important in improving the quality of teachers and students in meeting the quality of learning and the results of the quality of learning in order to improve the quality of graduates. Vocational High Schools are basically not only intended to understand theoretical mastery but must also have theoretical and practical competence in meeting performance criteria. Thus the teacher has a very important role in mastering and managing the workshop. Workshop / Laboratory Management Training for Practical Subject Teachers at SMK Pandeglang Regency is carried out to improve teacher management in managing workshop/laboratory facilities at SMK.

This paper aims to describe the educational process of household waste management training by applying appropriate technology as part of human resources development in processing household waste. The participation of housewives and non-governmental organizations in this activity is part of increasing sensitivity to the environment to overcome the problem of household waste. The application of appropriate technology in processing household waste is a major part of the PKM (Community Service) activities of the Assisted Village, the technology of organic and inorganic waste chopping machines is used to produce semi-finished materials for compost and paving blocks, at that stage the technology is appropriate to provide added value in the process household waste treatment. The utilization of organic waste powder that is processed with EM4 produces solid compost, and inorganic waste can be processed as a base material for paving blocks. The results of the PKM in the Assisted Village have added value both in improving the quality of environmental cleanliness and increasing employment for the surrounding community in utilizing appropriate technology as a household waste processor.

Electricity is one a thing that always needed in technological development. Every house has a maximum power that operate at the same time. If the use is over the electrical power that the house have, automatically ACB will cut electric line in that house. This project developing a device to control power using a computer with arudino uno as OPC. Sensors that are used are current sensor ACS712, and voltage sensor ZMPT101B as a sensor to determine the power at the load. This device working automatically and controlled by a computer.

Technology-based entrepreneurial (Technoprenuer) trainings aim at increasing the interest of students and university graduates to become Technoprenuer actors as part of reducing the number of educated unemployment rate. On the other hand, based on the continuously development of transportation technology, smart transportation utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to help many parties in the field of supervision and enforcementas as well as the community as it can improve safety and reduce the level of accidents on the road. Therefore, this training provided material on technoprenership and IoT implementation to gain those two benefits. The training was held for 2 weeks, 2 days of which were synchronous and the rest were asynchronous. The trainees consisted of 15 UPI students and they were expected to be able to build prototypes in the end of the training. As the result, 60% of the participants were able to realize their business ideas until the prototype stage.

Nowadays, water faucets play an important role in controlling water flow. Besides that, faucets are generally moved manually by every human activity by turning or moving the faucet up or down. This manual faucet system has weaknesses, namely water wastage and easily damaged faucets. The use of automatic faucets in public facilities can minimize waste their use because generally people often forget to close the faucet again. Besides, using Arduino-based automatic water faucets can reduce the transmission of Covid 19 for the community, especially during the current pandemic. This activity aims to design Arduino-based automatic water faucets at public facilities to reduce the spread and transmission of COVID-19, especially in the Girimekar Village area, Bandung Regency. The target of this activity is youth and cadets in the area. The implementation of the Arduino-Based Automatic Water Faucet design in training resulted in a prototype unit of Arduino-based automatic water faucet using the ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04 as detection and use of an electric solenoid valve as a form of direct water control.

The use of Remote Laboratory in Practical Learning which is carried out in Vocational High Schools when online learning is carried out, is widely used to fulfill practical learning achievements. Training is carried out for vocational school teachers who have competence in the field of practice, as well as development in learning media. During the implementation of the activity, the ability to manage and use the Remote Laboratory is given to be adapted to the right learning model in learning PLC practical lessons. From the results of the training carried out, the results obtained where activity participants can apply the use of remote laboratories with results that can be applied directly to vocational students. From the results of the training, it is obtained that the level of mastery of the participants in terms of operating the Remote Laboratory can be mastered in accordance with the minimum criteria for assessment. Remote Laboratory can directly provide direct learning experiences such as carrying out practical learning in the laboratory.

The problem that underlies this activity is to see the condition of the school environment that requires counseling about the use of electrical equipment. The existence of teachers regarding the installation and maintenance of electrical installations in the regions is not well understood, very different from teachers who are in urban areas and moreover those with a background in electrical engineering vocational schools who are classified as advanced both in terms of knowledge level and skills in practice. On the basis of this condition guidance or counseling is carried out for these teachers. Even if they have the skills to install electrical installations, it is hoped that teachers will be able to maintain, repair and install electrical installations, even if they are simple ones. The method used in Community Service activities at SMK N 1 Cisarua, namely Lectures, discussions and exercises. The instructor explains material about the use of electronic devices followed by discussion and questions and answers, while the implementation can be carried out by the teaching team at each school who can consult with the lecturer about saving electricity. As a result of this counseling and training, teachers at SMK N 1 Cisarua can understand the importance of electrical energy and how to use electrical energy efficiently. The conclusion from this activity is that the teaching team at SMK N 1 Cisarua can save electricity in the school and its surroundings so as to reduce the cost of electrical energy.

Kelurahan Sukapada yang merupakan bagian dari kecamatan Cibeunying Kidul penerangan jalan umum (PJU) nya masih minim khususnya di wilayah RT 03 RW 02. Kurangnya penerangan jalan ini dapat menyebabkan meningkatnya kriminalitas dan kecelakaan lalu lintas, membuat area tersebut sangat berisiko baik bagi pengemudi maupun pejalan kaki. Selain itu, lingkungan yang gelap dapat memotivasi seseorang untuk melakukan kejahatan. seperti pencurian dan perilaku asusila. Karena populasi pendatang yang cukup besar , kejahatan dapat dengan mudah terjadi di lingkungan tersebut. Dari uraian terssebut diatas pemasangan lampu penerangan jalan umum dengan memanfaatkan listrik tenaga surya menjadi solusi permasalahan. Energi matahari ini memungkinkan akses sepanjang hari, yang sangat menguntungkan untuk daerah tropis. Konsumsi energi matahari juga dapat mengurangi biaya pengeluaran. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah lingkungan, dan Tim PKM dari jurusan teknik elektro Universitas Widyatama melakukan pemasangan lampu penerangan jalan umum tenaga surya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut.
