Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Bagaimana penerapan teori pembelajaran Thorndike dalam pembelajaran (2) teori pembelajaran Thorndike pada pembelajaran Matematika dan Bahasa Indonesia di SDN UPT XVII Mukti Jaya Kecamatan Singkohor Kabupaten Aceh Singkil. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif. Dalam bentuknya penelitian iniĀ  untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis fenomena, peristiwa, aktivitas sosial, kepercayaan, dan pemikiran seseorang secara individual maupun kelompok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian studi kasus dengan teknik pengumplan data digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian ini bahwa teori Thorndike merupakan salah satu bagian dari teori behaviorisme yang dikembangkan oleh Edward Lee Thorndike di williamsburg. Dalam penjabaran teorinya diabagi menjadi beberapa bagian yakni: pertama, pemikiran tahap pertama yang meliputi: hukum kesiapan, hukum latihan, hukum akibat dan hukum sikap. Kedua, pemikiran tahap kedua merupakan bentuk revisi yang dilakukan oleh Thorndike yang berkenaan dengan hukum latihan dan hukum akibat. Berdasarkan analisis data yang ada terlihat bahwa teori pembelajaran Thorndike secara tidak langsung sudah diterapkan oleh guru khususnya pada pelajaran matematika dan bahasa indonesia. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kesesuaian antara teori pembelajaran Thorndike dengan tahapan-tahapan yang digunakan guru dalam melakukan proses belajaran mengajar di kelas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of parents and teachers of face-to-face learning during the covid-19 period in the village of Ranub Dong. This research is a qualitative research in which the results of this study were obtained from the process of interviews, observation and documentation. Perceptions from parents and teachers say that face-to-face learning today is more effective than online learning or online learning, because children already understand if they see the learning process directly, whereas if learning is done online children get bored easily. in the face-to-face learning process and their enthusiasm is reduced and it is also difficult for parents to share their time well. However, face-to-face learning is carried out according to the provisions set by the government and careful planning so that the learning process runs smoothly and is directed according to the learning objectives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) how the application of Thorndike's learning theory inlearning (2) Thorndike's learning theory in learning Mathematics and Indonesian atSDN UPT XVII Mukti Jaya Singkohor District, Aceh Singkil Regency. This researchuses qualitative research. In the form of this research to describe and analyzephenomena, events, social activities, beliefs, and thoughts of a person individually or ingroups. This type of research is a case study research with data collection techniquesused include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this studyindicate that Thorndike's theory is one part of the behaviorism theory developed byEdward Lee Thorndike in Williamsburg. In the elaboration of the theory, it is dividedinto several parts, namely: first, the first stage of thought which includes: the law ofreadiness, the law of practice, the law of consequences and the law of attitude. Second,the second stage of thought is a form of revision carried out by Thorndike regarding thelaw of practice and the law of effect. Based on the analysis of existing data, it can beseen that Thorndike's learning theory has indirectly been applied by teachers, especiallyin mathematics and Indonesian lessons. This can be seen from the compatibility betweenThorndike's learning theory and the stages used by the teacher in carrying out theteaching and learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore how the process of implementing thematic learning at SLBN 1 Yogyakarta which includes methods, strategies, techniques and the learning evaluation process. In this paper, researchers use a qualitative descriptive approach with components in the form of observation, interviews and documentation which then the collected data is then analyzed before a conclusion is drawn. The results of the research obtained are as follows: first, the method used in thematic learning at SLBN 1 Yogyakarta is a direct learning method in the form of teachers teaching material directly to students. Second, the strategy used is a drill strategy in the form of providing activities and exercises repeatedly with the aim of honing the ability of students. Third, the techniques used by teachers in the application of thematic learning to children with intellectual disabilities are thematic by providing rewards and punishments that are in accordance with the needs of students. Fourth, in the thematic learning evaluation process, schools look more at the improvements achieved by students. If there is no improvement, the school will still raise students in the next even though the learning to be delivered remains in the previous class.

Abstract

This research explores the role of 21st century skills in education, focusing on integration in the curriculum, evaluation of effectiveness, and implementation of innovative teaching methods. The research method used is literature review. The research results show that the integration of 21st century skills in the curriculum is crucial for maintaining educational relevance. Evaluation of curriculum effectiveness is important to assess the achievement of 21st century skills development goals. Project-based curriculum approaches, contextual learning, and critical and creative teaching methods have great potential in developing students' holistic skills. Despite challenges such as resistance to change, research findings identify opportunities for improvement. Parent involvement, industry-education collaboration, and optimizing collaboration between educators can increase the effectiveness of curricula and teaching methods. This research emphasizes the urgency of deeply understanding the role of curriculum and teaching methods in shaping 21st century skills. By overcoming challenges and exploiting opportunities, education can be a transformational force in preparing individuals for the demands of the modern world.
