Abstract

This study aims to determine leadershipPrincipals in developing character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Mataram City and the factors that become obstacles for Principals in developing character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Mataram City. The research approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. The research subjects were the principal, teachers and students. Determination of research subjects is done by using a purpose sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. This type of data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification data. The principal's role as a leader in the school is in the form of conducting continuous guidance in the development of education, namely: first, character modeling, the madrasa principal encourages all teachers and administrative staff to be good character models for all students. second, teaching (teaching), regular and continuous communication with madrasa residents regarding the realization of character education in madrasas. third, good character strengthening (reinforcing) for all school members (teachers, students, and administrative staff). This caring attitude is implemented by involving teachers in making various democratic decisions. good character strengthening (reinforcing) for all school members (teachers, students, and administrative staff). Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang potensi akademik serta kriteria keberhasilan pembelajaran Alquran pada Ma’had Al-Jami’ah Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini bersifat kajian lapangan terhadap pembelajaran Al-quran pada Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Ar-Raniry dengan mengunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengancara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi akademik dan kriteria keberhasilan yang dicapai mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Alquran adalah mampu membaca Alquran dengan lancar, benar makhraj huruf dan bacaannya, serta beretika dalam membaca.

Abstract

Abstract Islamic principles of management and educational practices in Islamic educational institutions are very important to be studied to be implemented in real terms. With this study, we will know the Islamic principles of management, and educational practices in Islamic educational institutions. The purpose of writing this article is to find out and explain how Islamic principles of management, and how educational practices in Islamic educational institutions. The results of the analysis and discussion found: Islamic principles of management are seen from four activities, namely; planning in Islam, organizing Islamic educational resources, providing motivation and leadership in Islamic education, and supervision in Islam. Then, to achieve a perfect living system as the characteristics of Islamic education and the objectives of national education, the three educational pathways in the form of informal, formal, and non-formal education are not only complementary or complementary but must be synchronized, should not run independently and must be an integral unit to prepare the nation's generation to have a character that covers all aspects of life, both in the form of physical, mental, faith and morals, emotional, aesthetic and social to achieve success in life in the world and in the hereafter, as well as harmony in the implementation of education as a perfect living system and efforts to organize national education so that our education does not become redundant.

Abstract

This study examines literacy activities in the Kitabah learning method in Islamic subjects in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah’s students. The Kitabah method is an educational method through writing and reading activities. The Kitabah method is considered an effective method in Arabic enrichment. Still, the Kitabah method is a learning strategy that relies on writing activities and the ability to describe reading comprehensively. The role of the Islamic Religious Education teacher encourages students to analyze and write the text well. This method has been used in traditional Islamic learning, effectively increasing students' interest in reading. Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Islamic subjects must direct students to read Islamic texts. This is one of the important parts of Islamic Religious Education in the form of 1) a role in increasing interest in reading, 2) socialization of classical Islamic texts to students from an early age, and 3) adding active Islamic teaching and learning activities between students and teachers. The subject of this study is Teachers and Students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Research is qualitative by collecting data from literature studies of related research. This research is expected to be a source of study of Islamic Religious Education in improving literacy culture at the Ibtidaiyah Madrasah level.

Abstract

This research explores the role of 21st century skills in education, focusing on integration in the curriculum, evaluation of effectiveness, and implementation of innovative teaching methods. The research method used is literature review. The research results show that the integration of 21st century skills in the curriculum is crucial for maintaining educational relevance. Evaluation of curriculum effectiveness is important to assess the achievement of 21st century skills development goals. Project-based curriculum approaches, contextual learning, and critical and creative teaching methods have great potential in developing students' holistic skills. Despite challenges such as resistance to change, research findings identify opportunities for improvement. Parent involvement, industry-education collaboration, and optimizing collaboration between educators can increase the effectiveness of curricula and teaching methods. This research emphasizes the urgency of deeply understanding the role of curriculum and teaching methods in shaping 21st century skills. By overcoming challenges and exploiting opportunities, education can be a transformational force in preparing individuals for the demands of the modern world.
