The inductive approach represented a more modern style of teaching where the new grammatical structures or rules are presented to the students in real language context. The students learned the use of the structure through practice of the language in context, and later realize the rules from the practical examples. From the research conducted in one particular high school in North Aceh district, there were significant differences between the students who were taught with inductive approach as an approach in teaching grammar. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to examine the determinants of Return on Assets (ROA) on the foreign exchange banks in Indonesia. The data used were the financial ratios of 27 foreign exchange banks in Indonesia in 2012-2016. The data were gathered from the published financial statements of the Indonesian foreign exchange banks. This research employed a Common Effect Model (CEM) as the most suitable panel regression model to analyze the data using the E-views statistical software. The findings indicate that from 2012 to 2016, the profitability of the exchange banks is largely determined by the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Operating Efficiency Ratio (OER), and total debt. The findings also imply that apart from maximizing profit, it is important for the banks to abide by the regulations issued by the central bank or the Financial Services Authority in performing the banking operations. Negligence to observe the level of prudential and risk management will not only lead to profit loss, but it will also cause the failure of the banks.

This study finds that the exchange rate and interest rate have a negative effect on firm value. It can be concluded that external factors have a considerably vast influence on firm value compared to internal factors. Meanwhile, managerial ownership structure and institutional ownership structure have a positive effect on firm value. In relation to company liquidity, a quick ratio solely has a negative effect on firm value.TheNoveltyofthis study shows that companies without managerial ownership have a stronger effect on firm value. Conversely, this study does not find that companies with managerial ownership affect firm value.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how the shock or impulse response function of the variables of the unemployment rate, inflation and poverty rate on economic growth within the research period from 1998-2020. The method used is the Impulse Response Function (IRF) through the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) approach. The results prove that the response given by the unemployment rate (UN) to economic growth due to shocks show a positive response up to the 8th period. The most influential variable on economic growth (PE) is the unemployment rate (UN). Therefore, it is suggestted for the government to provide adequate jobs (as needed) so as to reduce the relatively high unemployment rate and will have an impact on increasing poverty rates in Indonesia.
