Abstract

Analyzing how counseling services affect students' motivation to learn is the goal of this study. A quasi-experimental design with control and experimental groups is the methodology employed. Questionnaires completed both before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the treatment were used to collect data. According to the study's findings, students who receive counseling services report feeling far more motivated to learn. With an average rise of 12.78%, the average learning motivation score rose from 55.91% (low category) to 68.70% (high category). Wilcoxon test statistical analysis supports these findings, demonstrating that counseling services have a significant impact on students' increased drive to learn (p < 0.05). The utilization of counseling services as a successful strategy to increase students' motivation to learn is one area in which this research greatly contributes to the field of education. Students who lack motivation to learn can benefit from this in order to enhance their academic performance.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of technology proficiency among students on the effectiveness of spreading the Great Commission at Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kerusso. The urgency of this research lies in the rapid advancement of digital technology, which offers various tools and platforms that can support evangelism missions. Technology proficiency among STT students is crucial as it enables them to expand their reach and enhance the efficiency of delivering the Gospel message in this digital era. The primary objective of this research is to identify the extent to which students' technology proficiency affects their effectiveness in carrying out evangelism missions and to explore ways in which technology can be better integrated into evangelism strategies at STT Kerusso. This study employs a qualitative method using in-depth interviews and case studies. Interviews were conducted with students and faculty members of STT Kerusso who have experience using technology for evangelism. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to identify relevant patterns and themes. The findings of this study are expected to provide new insights for theological education institutions on the importance of integrating technology into the curriculum and mission activities to maximize the spread of the Great Commission.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology has significantly impacted children's lives, bringing both positive and negative consequences. While it facilitates access to information and communication, technology also introduces challenges such as a decline in learning enthusiasm, entertainment addiction, and exposure to harmful content that can damage moral values. Additionally, inadequate parenting practices exacerbate this issue, with many parents failing to integrate Biblical values in raising their children. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Positive Action Bible Curriculum in character development for children aged 6-12 years at School of Victory. The research employs a quantitative approach with a pre-test and post-test experimental design. The innovation presented in this study is the integration of Christian religious education into character development through a Bible-based curriculum. The results show a significant improvement in the children's cognitive, emotional, and moral development, supporting the ultimate goal of raising a generation that fears God and embodies the character of Christ.
