Abstract

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has fostered the emergence of influencers as a key element in modern digital marketing strategies. Influencer income is no longer determined solely by the number of followers but is also influenced by content quality and audience engagement rate. This study aims to examine the effect of content quality on influencer income with engagement rate as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method. The sample consisted of 120 influencers in Indonesia selected through purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that content quality has a positive and significant effect on both engagement rate and influencer income. Furthermore, engagement rate also has a positive and significant effect on influencer income. However, the indirect effect analysis reveals that engagement rate does not mediate the relationship between content quality and influencer income. These findings suggest that content quality has a more dominant direct impact on influencer income rather than through engagement mechanisms. This study provides practical implications for influencers to prioritize content quality improvement as a key strategy for increasing income, and for brands to consider content quality alongside engagement rate when selecting influencers for collaborations.

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology, financial literacy, and student lifestyles can influence financial behavior. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of digital payments, financial literacy, and lifestyle on students' financial behavior. A quantitative method was used, involving 150 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dian Nuswantoro University, and was taken through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected from questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results showed that digital payments and financial literacy had a positive effect on financial behavior, while lifestyle had a negative effect on financial behavior. These findings imply that increasing financial knowledge and planning, including saving habits, controlling consumptive behavior, and wise use of fintech services, effectively shape students' financial attitudes.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing the interest of Universitas Dian Nuswantoro students in using Buy Now Pay Later (Paylater) services. The research focuses on three aspects: Perceived Ease of Use, Functional Financial Needs, and Hedonistic Lifestyle. The method employed is descriptive quantitative research with a survey approach. The study involved 160 students who had previously used Paylater services. The collected data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4 software, examining validity, reliability, and structural model tests. The results indicate that Hedonistic Lifestyle positively and significantly affects the intention to use Paylater, followed by Functional Financial Needs, which also have a significant influence. Meanwhile, Perceived Ease of Use does not have a significant effect, as young people, particularly Generation Z, are already very familiar with various digital applications, making operational ease not a primary factor. The study concludes that students’ interest in using Paylater is more influenced by their consumption patterns and financial needs rather than the technical aspects of the system. Based on these findings, several recommendations are offered: to enhance education on the responsible use of Paylater services and to provide clear information about the services so that users can manage their expenses more effectively.

Abstract

This study was conducted to identify the impact of macroeconomic variables and internal banking factors on the level of credit risk, known as Non-Performing Loans (NPL), in conventional commercial banks in Indonesia. The macroeconomic variables considered included the rupiah exchange rate, interest rates, and GDP (Gross Domestic Product), while the internal bank factors included ROE (Return On Equity), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio), and CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio). A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data from 2019 to 2024 and a panel regression technique with the REM model. The study sample included 10 conventional commercial banks selected using a purposive sampling method. The study findings revealed that interest rates and ROE had a significant negative effect on NPLs, while LDR showed a significant positive impact on NPLs. On the other hand, the rupiah exchange rate, GDP, and CAR did not show a significant effect on NPLs. Overall, all independent variables jointly influence credit risk.
