Abstract

Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) have been widely prescribed for primary hypertension. Nevertheless, the cost of ARBs are relatively expensive. The objective of this study was to describe prescribing pattern and the cost of ARBs in hypertensive outpatients. This study used descriptive observational method based on cross-sectional study. Data source was hypertensive outpatients medical records and prescriptions at Pemangkat General Hospital, West Kalimantan, Indonesia, during 2014-2015. The most frequently prescribed anti-hypertensive medication in 1,506 patients were ARBs. There was an increasing trend in the use of ARBs during 2014-2015 (31-38%). The most frequently prescribed ARBs were 8 mg and 18 mg of candesartan, and 80 mg of valsartan. ACE inhibitors were the least prescribed anti-hypertensive drugs (4-8%). The largest portion of anti-hypertensive drugs expenditure was spent on ARBs, both in 2014 and 2015, respectively accounted for IDR 50,493,876.00 (67%) and IDR 58,903,112.00 (79% ). In conclusion, the prescribing of ARBs increased during study period and it represented the largest contributor on total expenditures of anti-hypertensive drugs.Keywords: Angiotensin II receptor blockers, cost, hypertensive patients

Abstract

Qualitative research involving one of the teachers was conducted at the Alfatihah Quran House, Jambi City with the aim of forming noble moral values ​​in early childhood through habituation. Documents, observations and interviews were used to collect data. Data is examined qualitatively by collecting information and making judgments. Based on research findings, Rumah Quran Alfatihah prioritizes moral virtues through habits, namely before and after activities, children should pray, be polite to parents and teachers by greeting and kissing hands, as well as studying and memorizing hadiths about the values ​​of good, noble morals. Research findings show the importance of educating young children at Rumah Quran Alfatihah to uphold noble morals, namely instilling morals towards Allah SWT and other humans. This moral cultivation has gone well and is carried out through example, teaching, habituation and providing motivation. Instilling noble morals through habituation in children, apart from being influenced by their cognitive abilities, is also influenced by their moral development. Good habits are important in the process of moral development, if good habits have been instilled since childhood then good forms of behavior will be reflected in life. And of course the task of educators, in this case parents or teachers, must be to be able to introduce the concepts of right or wrong, good or bad so that later children will understand and better understand the concepts of good and bad.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas tentang Peran Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter peserta didik di masa pandemi covid-19 di sekolah menengah pertama baiturrahim kota jambi, karena seorang guru bukan hanya bertanggung jawab mengajar saja namun juga memiliki tanggung jawab membimbing, mendidik, serta membentuk karakter peserta didik. Pada masa pandemi covid-19 dengan adanya pembelajaran daring sangat sulit untuk mengawasi tingkah laku peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran di rumah terutama pada saat menggunakan akses internet. Berdasarkan observasi penulis karakter baik peserta didik pada masa pandemi covid-19 menurun di karenakan beberapa faktor penyebab yang pertama kurangnya kadisiplinan peserta didik karena guru tidak bisa mengawasi secara langsung bagaimana perilaku masing-masing peserta didik di rumah, seperti tugas yang di kumpulkan tidak tepat waktu, dan keterlambatan peserta didik dalam mengikuti kelas daring, yang kedua peserta didik yang bebas berselancar di dunia maya dengan melihat hal-hal di luar materi pembelajaran, karena kurangnya pengawasan dari orang tua di rumah yang juga sibuk dengan pekerjaan masing-masing sehingga kurangnya kerja sama guru dan orang tua dalam mengontrol karakter mereka. Disinilah peran guru terutama guru pendidikan agama islam harus sangat berperan dalam menerapkan strategi-strategi guna membentuk karakter yang baik selama pembelajaran daring di era covid-19 ini. Agar karakter peserta didik dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran daring bisa tetap terkontrol dengan baik.

Abstract

Akhlak education plays an important role in shaping students' character, especially in instilling empathy and social awareness. In the midst of the crisis of human values, akhlak teachers have a responsibility not only as teachers, but also as moral role models who integrate Islamic values into learning. The type of research uses qualitative research with a field research approach in the form of descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Furthermore, all data obtained is processed with the stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusions. The results of the study are the contribution of akhlak teachers in shaping empathy and social awareness of class VIII students at Mts DDI Manding Polewali Mandar, namely through structured teaching based on Islamic values, teachers have succeeded in integrating lessons on empathy and social sensitivity into daily learning activities with the approach used is a moral approach, experience-based learning, and group discussions, to instill the values of empathy and social sensitivity. Practical activities, such as social service and group work, are also used to provide students with direct experience in applying these values.
