Abstract

The use of technology considered has able to help the learning process, especially in teaching English. In the industry revolution 4.0, there are some alternatives to teach English effectively. Plickers is an application that can help the teachers to measure student capability. This application used printable paper clickers to assign each student using the Plickers card. The teacher is instantly checking the student responses and assessment data for every question. This study was using mixed methods design to describe the use of Plickers for formative assessment of vocabulary mastery. The finding shows that Plickers help the teacher in preparing, executing, and examining in formative assessment. This application was able to improve students’ motivation and participation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan prototype. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil rancangan pompa air DC menggunakan solar cell, mengetahui besar tegangan, arus serta daya yang dihasilkan, dan mengetahui debit air yang dihasilkan dari rancangan pompa air DC menggunakan solar cell. Hasil pengukuran rata-rata intensitas cahaya matahari sebesar 130389 lux dan intensitas radiasi matahari rata-rata 1030.07 W/m2. Hasil pengukuran rata-rata tegangan panel surya dengan beban sebesar 12.64 V dan rata-rata arus panel surya dengan beban 4.42 A dengan daya yang dihasilkan 55.81 W. Hasil pengukuran rata-rata tegangan aki sebesar 12.14 V dan rata-rata arus aki sebesar 5.12 A dengan daya yang dihasilkan sebesar 62.18 W. Hasil perhitungan lama pengisian aki 12 V 45 Ah menggunakan pengisian aki lambat selama 12 jam dan pengisian aki cepat selama 3 jam. Sedangkan untuk pengisian aki menggunakan panel surya berdaya 300 watt selama 2.16 jam. Hasil pengujian rancangan pompa air DC dapat mengalirkan rata-rata debit air sebesar 24.3 L/min. Berdasarkan hasil perancangan pompa air DC menggunakan solar cell yang diimplementasikan langsung diperlukan komponen utama berupa 3 buah panel surya monocrystalline 100WP, 1 Aki 12 V 45Ah, 1 SCC 10 A 12/24 V, dan 7 buah pompa air DC 12 V 22 W serta tiang besi sebagai tiang pemasangan panel surya.

Abstract

Tujuan - Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Wardah di TikTok Shop Kota Makassar, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui Brand Image sebagai variabel mediasi. Secara khusus, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap Brand Image, pengaruh langsung kedua variabel tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian, serta peran Brand Image dalam memediasi hubungan antara Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga dengan keputusan pembelian. Metode - Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory research. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada konsumen yang pernah membeli produk wardah di TikTok Shop Kota Makassar. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pendekatan Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan perangkat lunak SmartPLS untuk menguji validitas, reliabilitas, serta hubungan antar variabel dalam model penelitian. Hasil - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Brand Image. Selain itu, Online Customer Review, persepsi harga, dan Brand Image juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa Brand Image berperan sebagai variabel mediasi yang memperkuat pengaruh Online Customer Review dan persepsi harga terhadap keputusan pembelian.

Abstract

This study investigated the effectiveness of Scenario-Based Learning (SBL) using Wireshark in improving students’ packet analysis and network disturbance diagnostic skills. The study addressed the gap between theoretical networking instruction and students’ limited ability to interpret real network traffic and troubleshoot practical cases. The key argument is that integrating authentic troubleshooting scenarios with professional packet analysis tools enhances higher-order analytical competence. A quantitative pre-experimental one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. Thirty-two second-year networking students participated in a four-week intervention consisting of structured scenario modules using Wireshark (version 4.x) in a controlled laboratory environment. Data were collected through a 20-item performance-based test measuring conceptual understanding, packet interpretation, and network diagnosis. Statistical analysis included descriptive statistics, Shapiro–Wilk normality testing, paired-sample t-test, and Cohen’s d effect size calculation. The mean score increased from 56.41 (SD = 8.72) in the pretest to 78.63 (SD = 7.95) in the posttest. The paired-sample t-test revealed a significant difference, t(31) = 15.87, p < 0.001. The calculated effect size (Cohen’s d = 2.80) indicated a very large effect. The highest gains were observed in packet interpretation and network diagnosis components. These results confirm that SBL using Wireshark significantly improves analytical and troubleshooting competence. The absence of a control group, limited sample size (N = 32), short intervention duration, and single-institution context may restrict generalizability. Future studies employing randomized or longitudinal designs are recommended. This study provides empirical evidence of integrating scenario-based pedagogy with industry-standard packet analysis tools in networking education. It offers a replicable instructional framework that bridges theory and authentic technical practice.
