Abstract

PT Indal Aluminium Industry Tbk. merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak di bidang alumunium dengan berbagai macam bentuk dan desain sesuai dengan permintaan konsumen. Fokus perbaikan yang dituju pada penelitian ini adalah menurunkan persentase kecacatan produk jenis precision part profiles yang selama ini menjadi permasalahan besar. Persentase produk baik jenis precision part profiles pada kondisi awal adalah sebesar 51,38%. Analisis akar masalah dengan menggunakan fishbone diagram untuk menentukan masalah yang menyebabkan cacat, yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan analisis FMEA (Failure Mode & Effect Analysis). Melalui analisis FMEA, penentuan jenis kecacatan tertinggi dilakukan dengan menentukan ranking nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) untuk setiap jenis cacat yang dilakukan analisis, dari ranking nilai RPN digunakan pareto chart untuk mengetahui jenis cacat dominan yang penting untuk dilakukan perbaikan, Berdasarkan hasil pareto chart didapatkan 6 jenis cacat yang menjadi prioritas perbaikan, yaitu Scratch 2, Blister 3, Corosion 2, Scratch 1, Scratch 3 dan Dent 2. Implementasi perbaikan yang telah berhasil meningkatkan total persentase produk baik sebesar 9,44% (dari 51,38% menjadi 60,82%). Untuk proses cutting I meningkat sebesar 4,12%, proses machining meningkat sebesar 4,23% dan proses packaging sebesar 5,6%. Sedangkan besar penurunan biaya kualitas yang terjadi akibat implementasi usulan perbaikan adalah Rp1.211.825/ 2 minggu (dari Rp12.689.306 menjadi Rp11.477.481) atau penurunan sebesar 9,54%.

Abstract

PT. Welling Jaya Sejati Industrial yang terletak di Raya Wringin Anom KM 32, Desa Lebani Waras, Kabupaten Gresik ini merupakan perusahaan pembuatan komponen sepeda yang berdiri sejak tahun 1990. Melihat peluang usaha bisnis sepeda yang maju maka pendiri memutuskan untuk mendirikan pabrik pembuatan komponen sepeda. PT. Welling Jaya Sejati Industrial ingin mencoba menerapkan standar sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2008, guna memiliki manajemen mutu kualitas yang baik dalam upaya optimalisasi fungsi organisasi. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan dan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa perusahaan belum memiliki sistem dokumentasi manajemen mutu yang optimal sehingga perlu dilakukan perancangan sistem manajemen mutu secara keseluruhan. Pada proses bisnis perusahaan dilakukan perubahan dengan penambahan sistem manajemen mutu, proses inti, pendukung 1, pendukung 2 dan eksternal. Perbaikan struktur organisasi dilakukan dengan melakukan penambahan posisi Mangement Representative yang bertanggung jawab penuh terhadap keberlangsungan sistem manajemen mutu pada perusahaan. Sasaran mutu yang dimiliki perusahaan belum lengkap, sehingga dilakukan perombakan ulang sasaran mutu di tiap prosedur yang dirancang, dengan demikian proses peninjauan sasaran mutu akan lebih detail. Berdasarkan hasil pembagian kuisioner kepada 28 anggota perusahaan, didapatkan bahwa perancangan sistem manajemen mutu berdasarkan ISO 9001:2008 mengalami dampak positif bagi perusahaan.

Abstract

University of Surabaya is a college that implement ISO 9001. However, the application of ISO 9001 will be successful if supported by organizational culture change in a positive direction. Total Quality Management or the development of quality culture requires line managers to change the style, way of working and even behavior as far as possible in order to get out of traditional organizational structures. It is necessary for testing to determine the extent of the influence of ISO 9001 at the University of Surabaya against existing quality culture in the organization by the method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The purpose of this study was to measure the quality culture, knowing the relationship of cultural change with the implementation of ISO 9001 quality, and provide suggestions for improvement in organizational performance UBAYA thus be effectively and efficiently and to create a cultural change that brings quality UBAYA towards positive direction. Results obtained from this research is the application of ISO 9001:2008 proven direct impact positively on the quality of cultural change in UBAYA of 50.04 % . The results of the questionnaire and the great close relationship models that will be used as a reference in determining the repair using the method of Quality Function Deployment . Variable ISO 9001 that must be fixed first is the management system approach with a weight of 0.341 , the second is the process approach with a weight of 0,332 and the latter is employee engagement with a weight of 0.326 . From the results obtained Quality Function Deployment major repairs done by looking at the importance of how the value of more than 636.19875 . The improvement of priority is establishing quality objectives in accordance with the vision and mission UBAYA , distribute tasks employees are multitasking in a single unit of work , and make the effectiveness of the program with clear criteria and involving all employees.

Abstract

The paper aims to measure the overhead costs and economic benefits of risk management activities in the production process - a manufacturing company. This research uses Activity Based Management (ABM) approach to allocate and track overhead costs in risk management activities. The overhead costs of risk management activities include the costs of identifying, analyzing, evaluating and controlling risks in order to achieve the quality objectives of the production process. The company obtains economic benefits, first, from reducing overhead costs incurred per period from the results of improvements to non-value-added or high-cost activities; second, cost savings obtained from the achievement of quality objectives per period. The results of this study indicate that the ABM approach used is appropriate in measuring the overhead costs and economic benefits of risk management activities in a business process

Abstract

In several analysis about the roles and function of a program study in the future that a main roles of education is quality. Program Study that can not keep their quality will be lose in the competition, and make the community not survive in the 21st era.The Program Study has responsibility in quality of realization "tridharma" (Learning, Research and Public Service). That is the reason why the program study should has Quality Management System (QMS) to meet and exceed the stakeholder requirement. The successfully of Manufacturing industry and Service industry get standard ISO 9000 as a Management System can be adopted by program study to improve education quality.This paper describes the important of Quality Management System and the implementation on the program study in order to increase the performance of program study.

Abstract

This classroom action research discusses the application of risk management in delivering results-based learning. The author uses a conceptual model development approach and examples of application in a course. This research is essential to guide the teaching team in conducting risk management to achieve learning outcomes by developing conceptual models. The study results show that the teaching team that carries out risk management in the learning process can guarantee more in achieving Graduate Learning Outcomes and Course Learning Outcomes. Furthermore, the teaching team continuously improves learning outcomes through the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle. This conceptual model's development helps teaching staff identify, assess, evaluate, and control risks and enhance learning objectives.Keywords: Risk management; Outcome-based learning; PDCA cycle; Continuous improvement. Abstrak Penelitian tindakan kelas ini membahas penerapan manajemen risiko dalam penyampaian pembelajaran berbasis hasil. Penulis menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan model konseptual dan contoh penerapan di sebuah mata kuliah. Penelitian ini penting untuk memandu bagaimana tim pengajar menerapkan manajemen risiko untuk pencapaian hasil belajar melalui pengembangan model konseptual.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tim pengajar yang melakukan manajemen risiko di proses pembelajaran dapat lebih menjamin dalam pencapaian Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan dan Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah. Selanjutnya, tim pengajar melakukan peningkatan capaian pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan melalui siklus Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA). Pengembangan model konseptual ini bermanfaat memandu staf pengajar dalam mengidentifikasi, menilai, mengevaluasi, dan pengendalian risiko serta peningkatan tujuan pembelajaran.Kata Kunci: Manajemen risiko; Pembelajaran berbasis hasil; siklus PDCA; peningkatan berkelanjutan

Abstract

Quality has become a research concern in the field of manufacturing or services. Currently, there are several tools available that can be used to improve service quality. Each tool has advantages and disadvantages, so integration between tools is needed to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of improvement efforts. Some tools that can be integrated to evaluate service quality comprehensively are SERVQUAL, KANO, and QFD. This scientific article provides experiential information on applying quality tool integration in the health sector. A hospital was selected as a case study for an example of the application of service quality improvement steps. The trial of SERVQUAL, KANO, and QFD integration in the case study showed that the integration of SERVQUAL and KANO selected 30% of critical service attributes that need improvement. Furthermore, QFD plays a role in executing the improvements effectively and efficiently.
