Abstract

The objective of this research was to know how far the impact of staffing and compensation toward employee’s competence and its implication toward employee’s working method at “ konveksi” unit of Primkopad Bekangdam III/ SLW. The writer here used Path- Analysis to Analyze the data.Based on the data processing toward the first structure by using path- analysis, it was found that staffing had a partial and significant impact of 51,6 % while compensation had impartial and insignificant impact of only 13,9 %. It was caused by the powerful competition between staffing and compensation although both of them had a simultaneous impact of 32,5 %.Keyword: Staffing, compensation, and competence

Abstract

Psychological factors in patients with chronic renal failure conditions are severely affected by prolonged course of the disease, disability and discomfort should depend onthe hemodialysis machine. Hemodialysis therapy in addition to disturbing the physical, complications can trigger mental disorders. Patients with chronic renal failure often have psychological disorders associated with general medical conditions. Anxiety and depression are often psychological disorders experienced. Symptoms that are almost similar to each other will require experts to correctly identify them based on the patients perceived symptoms. Limitations of health practitioners in exploring thepsychological conditions felt by the patient to be one reason for the necessity of a clinical decision support system capable of integrating patient information  (demographic, clinical, social psychological) with a knowledge base with the aim of identifying psychological conditions in a clinical setting that can assist physicians, nurses, psychologists and health practitioners others in making a clinical decision on their patients. The approach in this study uses case-based reasoning (Case-Based Reasoning) (CBR). CBR process through four stages of the process are: retrieve, reuse, revise and retain. If there is a similar case then the reasoning to weigh the nearest case using the Simple Matching Coefficient (SMC) method so that the system is able to streamline the diagnostic process by taking into account the closeness between the base case and the target case. As a result, the system will be able to provide a recommendation picture of the initial diagnosis of the highest percentage of possible types of psychological disturbance suffered with its severity level and the best solution for new cases based on the nearest case solution of the nearest similarity level.

Abstract

Group decision support system (GDSS) of assistant lecturer is a decision support systemsmodeledto help a group of decision maker assessing students that enroll as lecturer assistant applicant. The decision model used in this research is Multi Attribute Decision Making (MADM) TOPSIS method with 10  assessment criteria that is grades (C1), cumulative index (C2), Teaching Skill (C3), Mastery of Material (C4), Class Mastery (C5), Cooperation (C6), Motivation (C7), Discipline (C8), Responsibility (C9), and Experience (C10) while the group decision using the Borda voting model.The result of this research is the decision making model of the assessment of prospective lecturer assistant in group.

Abstract

The development and population growth that are increasing from time to time have an impact on the expansion of housing areas. This results in a decrease in the land that can be used by the community for raising livestock and planting crops. To keep maximizing the remaining land, several community groups utilize the remaining land by cultivating fish through the Fish Cultivation Technique in Buckets. The current problem is that fish cultivators are still manually measuring water quality by visiting fish ponds and using simple measuring instruments. It affects the effectiveness of fish farming. so the researchers create a monitoring system with the title Fish Cultivation Technique in Bucket Based on the Internet Of Things (IoT). In this study, researchers used 3 sensors: the DS18B20 sensor, the Turbidity sensor, and the water level sensor. The DS18B20 sensor is used to measure the water temperature, the turbidity sensor is used to measure the turbidity of the water, and the water level sensor is used to measure the water level. From the test results of the whole system, it can be seen that if the water turbidity sensor reading is less than 15.24 NTU then the bucket water is said to be normal, while if the sensor reading is more than 15.24 NTU, the water is said to be cloudy so the relay will be on to drain the bucket water. While the results of the water temperature sensor readings are less than 26.2 to 30.0oC then the water is said to be normal bucket water. If the temperature sensor readings are more than 30oC then the water is said to be hot the relay will be active to turn on the aeration. Keywords—Fish, Turbidity, DS18B20, Water Level, Internet of Things

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat Pengenalan Smart Farming pada Kelompok Tani Sejahtera Pekon Sindang Marga Kecamatan Pulau Panggung Kabupaten Tanggamus bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas, efisiensi, dan kesejahteraan petani. Dengan adopsi Smart Farming, menggunakan teknologi seperti sensor tanah dan irigasi otomatis, produktivitas pertanian dapat meningkat. Teknologi ini juga dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan sumber daya seperti air dan pupuk, mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan, dan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi pertanian. Pengabdian ini diharapkan meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani, serta menyebarkan pengetahuan tentang Smart Farming ke masyarakat luas untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian secara keseluruhan. Dengan demikian, pengabdian ini menjadi langkah awal dalam mendorong transformasi pertanian menuju pertanian yang lebih modern, efisien, dan berkelanjutan di Pekon Sindang Marga dan wilayah lainnya.

Abstract

Ketepatan atau presisi alat ukur suhu, kelembaban udara dan pH tanah adalah hal yang sangat penting dalam pengambilan keputusan pada pengontrolan pengelolaan tanah dan air dalam pertanian. Setiap sensor yang digunakan untuk membangun sistem alat ukur harus dikalibrasi agar memperoleh ketepatan pengukuran. Penelitian ini membahas proses kalibrasi terhadap tiga jenis sensor, yaitu sensor suhu dan kelembaban udara DHT11, serta sensor kelembaban dan pH tanah. Kalibrasi menggunakan metode linear regression untuk meningkatkan akurasi pengukuran terhadap nilai acuan kalibrator yang lebih presisi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kalibrasi berhasil mengurangi simpangan baku dari setiap sensor, terutama sensor DHT11 dengan peningkatan akurasi sebesar 0,03 dan konsistensi pengukuran yang signifikan. Kalibrasi sensor kelembaban tanah dengan peningkatan akurasi sebesar 0,01 dan sensor pH juga menunjukkan peningkatan akurasi, meskipun peningkatannya tidak sebesar sensor DHT11. Dengan demikian, kalibrasi ini meningkatkan kualitas pengukuran dan konsistensi sensor dalam aplikasi monitoring lingkungan.

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan teknologi Smart Farming berbasis IoT kepada Kelompok Tani UB Berkah Agro di Pekalongan, Lampung Timur. Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan efisiensi serta produktivitas pertanian dengan mengganti metode konvensional melalui penggunaan sensor tanah, sistem irigasi otomatis, dan aplikasi manajemen data pertanian. Kegiatan ini mencakup sosialisasi dan diskusi mengenai teknologi Smart Farming. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman petani tentang teknologi Smart Farming serta penerapan awal pada proses pembibitan palawija. Walaupun terdapat tantangan terkait akses teknologi dan pemahaman teknis, program ini berhasil mendorong perubahan pola pikir petani menuju metode pertanian yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Dalam era e-commerce yang berkembang pesat, masalah keamanan paket saat penerima tidak di rumah menjadi semakin serius. Banyak paket yang ditinggalkan tanpa pengawasan rentan terhadap risiko pencurian dan kerusakan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan Kotak Penerima Paket Cerdas berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan keamanan dan efisiensi dalam penerimaan paket. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan ESP32-CAM yang mengatur sensor ultrasonik dan PIR untuk mendeteksi kehadiran dan aktivitas di depan kotak, serta mengontrol Selenoid Door Lock untuk mengunci atau membuka kotak secara otomatis. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu secara akurat mendeteksi keberadaan kurir dan menghitung jumlah paket yang dimasukkan, dengan penggunaan mekanisme penguncian yang meningkatkan keamanan paket

Abstract

Tanaman pangan jenis hortikultura baik sayur dan buah-buahan sangat memerlukan kelembaban tanah yang tepat dalam proses pertumbuhannya. Pada sistem pertanian cerdas proses penyiraman media tanam yang dilakukan secara otomatis berdasarkan data sensor kelembaban tanah sehingga diperlukan data kelembaban tanah yang tepat. Setidaknya ada dua jenis sensor kelembaban tanah yakni sensor kelembaban tanah jenis kapasitif dan jenis resistif yang sering digunakan para peneliti dalam pertanian cerdas namun belum ada yang membandingkan keduanya sehingga diperoleh karakteristik jelas dari keduanya perihal kestabilan dan keakuratan data. Ada tiga langkah pada penelitian ini yakni sampling data sensor dengan media udara, air dan tanah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sensor kelembaban tanah jenis resistif datanya lebih stabil dibanding dengan jenis kapasitif jika berada di media air dan udara sedangkan jenis kapasitif lebih stabil jika berada pada media tanah. Tingkat akurasi jenis resistif lebih baik dari jenis kapasitif jika berada di media air dan udara namun sangat kurang ketika berada pada media tanah dengan selisih data rata-rata 31,49.
