Abstract

The purpose of this study discusses the potential of the Bregasmalang - Petanglong industry in supporting the creation of supporting industry clusters and raw materials for the Indonesian Defense Industry. This research is a qualitative research, the type of research uses a comprehensive analytical study and analytical normative approach. The existing defense industryis expected to form defense industry clusters that drive the country's economic growth. The emergence of defense industry clusters in Indonesia will accommodate the workforce, so the defense industry is expected to contribute to reducing the unemployment rate in Indonesia. In the context of increasing investment and economic growth in the region which has an impact on regional and national economies, accelerated development includes the Brebes -Tegal-Pemalang Regions. To support and provide added value to the development of the area as intended, one of them is the Pekalongan - Batang area, hereinafter referred to as the Petanglong Area. The Defense Industri Law mixes that the defense industry consists of the main equipment industry, the main and supporting component industries, the component and support industries (supplies), and the raw materials industry. Abstract

Indonesia is an agricultural country, but imports rice, sugar, wheat flour, maize, milk powder, onions, garlic, soybeans, carrots, from abroad. In all countries of the world, agriculture is the most protected sector of the economy. Food security is important. If a country imports most of its food products from other countries to fulfill its need because the price is lower than domestic prices, then the country will become dependent in its food supply on other countries for the future. This will be dangerous. So that 21st century skills are needed towards economic intelligence in Indonesia who can be relied on in terms of national economic resilience. These skills include : Ecological: the business environtment, Psycho-sociological: internal actors of organisation, Reticulated: external human networks claimed and moblized around the project, Teleological: final purpose of the approach through strategy development,  Technological: includes all the methods, tools and techniques used for the entire process of decision support through surveillance process, information protection, or benchmarking. Economic intelligence concerns the set of concepts, methods and tools which unify all the co-ordinated actions of research, acquisition, treatment, storage and diffusion of information, relevant to individual or clustered enterprises and organisations in the framework of a strategy.

Abstract

Organisasi ekonomi perdesaan menjadi bagian penting sekaligus masih menjadi titik lemah dalam rangka mendukung penguatan ekonomi perdesaan. Oleh karenanya di perlukan upaya sistematis untuk mendorong organisasi ini agar mampu mengelola aset ekonomi strategis di desa dan sekaligus mengembangkan jaringan ekonomi demi meningkatkan daya saing ekonomi pedesaan. Dalam konteks ini, BUMDes pada dasarnya merupakan bentuk konsolidasi atau penguatan terhadap lembaga-lembaga ekonomi desa. Pengembangan potensi yang sangat besar bagi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Brebes untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pembangunan daerahnya, melalui peluang BUMDes untuk mengerakan pembangunan dan menjadi pendorong ekonomi di desa. Abstract

Human life as a zoon politicon certainly can not be separated from the interaction with others, through what is called communication. The form of communication made by humans consists of various forms, ranging from intrapersonal communication, group communication, organizational communication, and mass communication. Through these forms of communication fellow human beings will exchange messages or information from the usual things to things that they consider important. Use of media facilities communication means today has grown so rapidly in line with advances in communication technology, where we are faced with many choice to be able to access, deliver/disseminate information both through conventional media such as print media and electronic media and the most developed is a new medium of online media (in the network) or often referred to as social media. The development of social media today has reached the easiest and fastest point in conveying and disseminating messages and information, one is ableto do it anytime and anywhere without being limited to space and time. Ease of communication is what then affects the social changes and behavior of individuals and communities.Key Word: Communication, Social Media, Community

Abstract

This study aims to study the pattern of community empowerment carried out by Islamic philanthropic institutions in Purwokerto and to determine the relationship of community empowerment programs that have been implemented by Islamic philanthropic institutions in Purwokerto. This research is a field research (field research) collecting data directly from the field and using a qualitative descriptive approach. While the method of data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the economic empowerment of the people through philanthropic institutions in Purwokerto was carried out in various ways. Empowerment is carried out in two forms, namely empowerment of donors (muzaki) by providing optimal services. The program implementation can run smoothly even though there are human resource constraints in some of the program implementation processes carried out by Islamic philanthropic institutions in this case BAZNASDA and LAZISMU Banyumas. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the performance as a form of policy successes One Village One Product (OVOP) in Brebes Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative research with the aim of providing a picture or describe the state of the object. The study was conducted in the Brebes Regency, covering areas that were targeted OVOP program, and the Department of Industry and Trade Office Department of Cooperatives and UKM As well as the center of the main data source. Descriptive qualitative data analysis, which illustrate the descriptions based on the data available on the object of research. The results show the achievement of performance OVOP policy in improving the welfare of the community in Brebes Regency has not reached optimal results, from some of the leading products available in the Brebes Regency, two new products, the main target is the implementation of OVOP programs salted egg and seaweed, while the center other products are still in development stage. However, of the activities that have been done show a considerable increase prospectively, including an increase in the volume of production and the birth of new product variants as a result of the coaching and development of creativity and innovation entrepreneurs. As a supporter of factors, including Brebes Regency Government has a strong commitment to implement the OVOP program on an ongoing basis, so as to exploit the full potential that can be used as a superior product. Availability of funds, human resources and compliance infrastructure needs, especially for the target group can be used as capital to implement the OVOP activities thoroughly. The stages of activities have been implemented in an integrated manner and in accordance with their respective authorities, although there are indications of overlapping authorities in carrying out coaching because there are no clear boundaries in determining the category of individual businesses, and industry groups.

Abstract

There is a difference between making public policies related to defense and non-defense, the main consideration of making decisions in the field of defense is that in addition to the national interest, it must also be able to define threats that will be faced or potential to be faced. The approach in this study uses a descriptive approach, the approach is intended to describe or describe defense policies in the link between national policies and national interests, while the type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Defense Policy is one of the public policies, namely policies made by the government as a policy maker to achieve certain goals in society where in its preparation through various stages. Defense policy should always consider the national interest. The national interest has a close relationship with nationalism, aspects of the national interest include: humans who govern the nation and state democratically make decisions based on the best interests of the community or nation and state.

Abstract

The rural economic organization is an important part as well as a weak point in supporting the strengthening of the rural economy. Therefore, a systematic effort is needed to encourage this organization to be able to manage strategic economic assets in the village and at the same time develop economic networks in order to increase the competitiveness of the rural economy. In this context, BUMDes is basically a form of consolidation or strengthening of village economic institutions. The development of a very large potential for the regional government of Brebes Regency to increase economic growth and regional development, through the BUMDes opportunity to mobilize development and become an economic driver in the village.Key Words: public policy, bumdes, village, participation
