Abstract

Human resource development by applying innovative learning models so that they can develop positive characters based on local wisdom in Central Kalimantan. Apply the values ​​of huma betang (family and know each other), belum bahadat (behave politely), hapakat basara (consensus for consensus), handep (mutual cooperation), and not yet full of hinje simpei (live in harmony and peace) in the Project Based Learning learning method (PjBL). The purpose of this research is to find out how students’ character development based on local wisdom uses the Problem Based Learning model. This research is a type of field research, qualitative research. The research subjects were students of class X IPS 2 at SMAN-1 Jabiren. The instrument used in this research is the researcher himself. The results of the study stated that with the PjBL method the characteristics of tolerance, curiosity, activeness, openness to input, communication, respecting achievements and opinions of friends, accepting differences of opinion, and respecting teachers are characteristics that develop significantly. Character education in the world of education, both primary, secondary, and even higher education must be well integrated. The research implication is inovatif learning models based on local wisdom is applied.

Abstract

Garantung village in Maliku, Pulang Pisau, Palangka Raya is a village with peat land. The water contain high Ferrum (Fe) and Manganese (Mn), smelly and brown water, as an inflict the lack of clean water on village. Based on the problem mention, these community service by Palangka Raya University held. The water treatment activity held by apply a simple filtration system. The purpose of this community service is to help the villager, obtain clean water with simple and cheap method, using used pot, gravel, sand, flannel, and tissue. The water treatment activities start with the socialization about clean water and it’s containments, following with training. The result show that after simple water treatment applied the water color significantly change, so it is can be used to washing clothes and raw foods. In order to achieve the real clean wate it is needed another water treatment activities.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah agar tenaga pendidik dalam hal ini ialah Guru mendapatkan pemahaman, serta memiliki keterampilan dalam membuat media pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia yang berbasis powerpoint. Penguasaan dan pemanfaatan aplikasi Camtasia dalam pembuatan media pembelajaran akan meningkatkan kompetensi guru yang menjadi modal dalam perencanaan disetiap pembelajarannya. Kompetensi guru memang harus selalu dikembangkan sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi, dengan transfer iptek berupa pelatihan pembuatan video pembelajaran. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah Guru di SMA Negeri 1 Jabiren, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Permasalahan yang terjadi ialah, para guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah secara langsung dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, serta seiring perkembangan jaman, para guru dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran, salah satunya ialah dengan menggunakan video sebagai media pembelajaran. Harapannya dengan inovasi tersebut, dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diberikan oleh guru. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan metode ceramah diskusi tanya jawab, serta praktik secara langsung dalam menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia berbasis powerpoint. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat keberhasilan dengan indikasi adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan menggunakan secara langsung terhadap aplikasi Camtasia berbasis powerpoint. Dapat disimpulkan melalui kegiatan pelatihan ini, keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh para guru dalam menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia menjadi meningkat, dari yang tidak tahu menjadi paham dan terampil dalam membuat materi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan aplikasi Camtasia sebagai media pembelajaran untuk siswa.

Abstract

Developing human resources is one of education’s duty, beside increasing the the learning outcome, improving student cahrachter is a must in order to gain a qualified human resource. The research background is to develop student’s character as a mention in Pelajar Pancasila character. The research aim is to improving the student character based in local wisdom character by implementing the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model. Data was colecting by doing observation, interview and documentation. The resut showed an increase in character values in aspects of independent and resposnsible. Brief conclssion of the research is the project-based learning model can improve the character values of students.

Abstract

Readiness to implement the independent curriculum implementation is the main thing that supports the success of the curriculum. The Pancasila Learner Profile Strengthening Project (P5) is part of the newly implemented Merdeka curriculum at SMK Karsa Mulya. This study aims to determine the school's readiness based on students' perceptions in implementing P5. Questionnaires were distributed to 75 learners and the scores from the questionnaires filled in by respondents were analysed and converted into qualitative criteria, referring to the Benchmark Approach (PAP) conversion. The variables studied were knowledge, school infrastructure and learner characteristics. The results of the analysis show a value of 4.07 referring to the conversion of the Benchmark Approach (PAP) then X = 4.08 is on a scale of 4 because 3.4 < X "≤" 4.2 category "ready". Thus, it is concluded that learners are ready to implement P5 because the knowledge and school infrastructure are sufficiently available at school, and co-curricular learning is in accordance with the characteristics of learners at the school

Abstract

The specific aim of this research is to examine how the readiness of Karsa Mulya Vocational School is seen by teachers as educators, in implementing P5 in the independent curriculum. This research is basic research, which is oriented towards explanations to anticipate a symptom/phenomenon that arises with the project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5) to support the implementation of the independent curriculum. The theme of this research includes improving Human Resources (HR). The total time for conducting the research was one year, starting from observation, data collection, data analysis and reporting. Secondary data collection was carried out by observation and interviews, while primary data was collected using a questionnaire as a research instrument to find out the opinions of teachers as teaching staff regarding readiness. and implementing a project to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students (P5). The results of research on aspects of teacher readiness in preparing teaching module instruments and project modules from P5 were 3.61. Analysis of the readiness of aspects of school infrastructure and school ecosystem according to teaching staff is shown with a value of 4.2, which means they are ready to support the implementation of P5. This refers to the conversion of the Benchmark Reference Approach (PAP), the value of X (average of each aspect) is 4.2, so X is on a scale of 4 because 3.4<X 4.2.
