Abstract

Aims of this sutdy is to understand how Parents peerception of geography as a subject in state SMA and MA in Sungai Penuh City. This research is descriptive quantitative with survey method, using questionnaire as research instrument. Subject of this research is Parents of Students in State SMA and MA in Sungai Penuh City which is 1415 parents, and sample about 93 parents. Data analysis using descriptive statistic with persentage. Result of this research shows that parents perception about role of geography knowledge in a proffesion is not good with persentage 38,71%, parents perception about role of geography subject in attitude thoward environmental care is good with persentage 32,26%, parents perception about role of geography knowledge about global issues is quite good with persentage 49,46%, and parents perception about geography study in SMA/MA is quite good with persentage 33,33%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the Multiplier Effect of pineapple agriculture in Kualu Nanas village towards the absorption of manpower and community income.This research was conducted in the village of Kualu Nanas, Tambang Subdistrict, Kampa Regency, Riau Province. This research is descriptive quantitative. The population and sample of this research are pineapple farmer in Kampung Riau Village, with 4 sample by looking at seller and industry by using percentage method and using formula to measure multiplier effect.This research found: (1) Multiplier Effect of pineapple agriculture on the absorption of labor affecting service sector, industry and pineapple trader, the value of Multiplier Effect is 1,195. This value shows every addition of one unit of labor base sector (pineapple agriculture) it will result in the addition of non-base sector employment as much as 0.195 times. If the increase of manpower as many as 10 people in the pineapple agriculture sector (base) it will create the opening of employment as much as 2 people in the non-base sector. (2) Multiplier Effect of pineapple agriculture on revenues affects the pineapple industry and trade with a grade of 3.04. This shows that every increase of one unit of pineapple agriculture sector (base) will result in an increase in non-base sector by 2.04 times. If the income increase is Rp.1000. In the base sector it will increase the revenue of Rp. 2.040. In the non-base sector. From the above results with the existence of pineapple agriculture will cause Value added or added value for other sectors.

Abstract

Dental caries are damage to tooth tissue starting from tooth enamel to spreading to dentin. To maintain this hardness, the enamel is in dire need of a chemical ion called fluorine. Lack of fluor can also cause tooth decay. In this community service, the community's knowledge about fluoride was increased to prevent dental caries by using the Lecture, Question and Answer, Demonstration, Discussion, and Simulation methods. Based on the results of community service that has been carried out, it can be concluded that there is an increase in public knowledge about fluor in preventing dental caries in the Lamraya Aceh Besar village community. It is recommended that people always maintain dental health and consume lots of foods and drinks that contain fluoride.  Keywords: Fluor, Knowledge

Abstract

Karies gigi masih menjadi masaiah kesehatan utama pada anak-anak di Indonesia. Berdasarkan data Puskesmas Darui Imarah, rata-rata indeks karies siswa SDN lheu Biang mencapai 4,8 (kategori tinggi), sementara target nasionai lndonesia bebas karies 2030 menetapkan DMF-T ≤ 1. Peneiitian ini diiakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kebiasaan menyikat gigi pada siswa keias IV dan V sebagai iangkah awai daiam upaya intervensi promotif di sekoiah dasar. Peneiitian ini menggunakan desain anaiitik koreiatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectionai. Popuiasi adaiah seiuruh siswa keias IV dan V SDN lheu Biang (58 siswa), dengan teknik totai sampiing. Data dianaiisis menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Ditemukan bahwa 51,7% siswa memiiiki pengetahuan kurang baik dan 51,7% juga memiiiki kebiasaan menyikat gigi yang kurang baik. Hasii uji statistik menunjukkan hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan kebiasaan menyikat gigi dengan niiai p = 0,001 (p < 0,05). Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan dengan kebiasaan menyikat gigi pada siswa. Pengetahuan yang rendah berkoreiasi dengan kebiasaan menyikat gigi yang buruk. Disarankan peningkatan edukasi kesehatan gigi di sekoiah, keteriibatan orang tua, serta pemeriksaan rutin oieh tenaga kesehatan
