Abstract

The Plumeria clan is a member of the Apocynaceae family and has variations in each type. This study aims to determine the variation in morphological characters of the Plumeria genus pollen in the Purwokerto region. The results showed that the pollen morphology of 6 samples, namely Plumeira rubra, Plumeira rubra f angutifolia, Plumeira rubra f frangifani, Plumeira obtusu, Plumeira alba and Plumeira pudica have similarities in the type of aperture, namely tricolpate type and psilate type ornamentation. While the comparative P / E index The mean length of the polar axis (P) and the diameter of the equatorial plane (E) P. rubra, P. rubra F frangifani and P obtusus have the form of Oblate Spheroidal type pollen with P / E index 0.92 - 0.94 while Plumeira alba and Plumeira pudica Suboblate pollen form with P / E index 0.82 - 0.85

Abstract

Wilayah dataran tinggi memilikiBerpotensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai lahan perkebunan, pertanian, dan mendukung perkembangan beberapa jenis lebah penghasil madu diantaranya adalah Trigona sp. Kelimpahan sumber pakan yang tinggi dapat meningkatkan produksi madu lebah Trigona. Polen merupakan sumber protein, sedangkan nektar berperan sebagai sumber karbohidrat dalam pakan Trigona. Keragaman jenis pakan Trigona dapat diidentifikasi dari karakter morfologi polen yang dibawa oleh lebah ke dalam sarang serta dibandingkan dengan karakter morfologi polen pada beberapa bunga di sekitar sarang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui struktur morfologi polen dari bunga yang ada di sekitar sarang dan polen yang ada di sarang lebah Trigona. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Serang, Kecamatan Karangreja, terletak di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei, sampel polen diambil dari bunga yang ada di sekitar sarang dan yang ada di dalam sarang, sampel dipreparasi dengan menggunakan metode asetolisis. Variabel yang digunakan adalah karakter morfologi polen dengan parameter berupa: unit, bentuk, ukuran, apertura, dan ornamentasi polen. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari 17 familia yang tercakup dalam 23 spesies tumbuhan yang ada di sekitar sarang lebah Trigona sp. didapatkan hasil karakter morfologi yang bervariasi. Unit polen monad, bentuk polen spheroidal sampai prolate, ukuran kecil sampai besar, apertura monosulcate, monoporate, triporate, tricolpate, tricolporate, tetracolpate dan hexacolpate serta ornamentasi clavate, scabrate, reticulate, bireticulate, baculate, psilate, echinatedan scabrate. Pengamatan polen di dalam sarang menunjukkan adanya 11 spesies polen yang dapat diamati dan 10 diantaranya identik dengan polen dari bunga di sekitar sarang. Seluruh polen yang diamati memiliki unit polen monad sedangkan karakter lainnya bervariasi dari bentuk polen spheroidal sampai prolate, ukuran kecil sampai besar, apertura monosulcate, monoporate, tricolporate, dan tricolpate serta ornamentasi scabrate, reticulate, psilate, scabrate dan echinate. Abstract

Pitcher plant (Nepenthes spp.) is one of the carnivorous plants which is classified as unique, because of the pitch on the Nepenthes spp. is a modified leaf tip that changes its shape and function to become a trap for insects or other small animals. The Baturraden Botanical Garden is the areas used for the conservation of various plant species both ex-situ and in-situ including Nepenthes spp. This aim of this study is to 1) determine the leaf anatomy and morphology characters of Nepenthes spp. which grows in the Baturraden Botanical Garden area, 2) determine the different characters of each species of Nepenthes spp. which grows in the Baturraden Botanical Garden area based on leaf anatomy and morphology. The research was conducted by direct observation, purposive sampling method, taking leaf samples of Nepenthes spp. in the greenhouse of the Baturaden Botanical Garden. Observation of leaf anatomical characters by embedding method with 1% safranin staining. The results of the measurement of anatomical and morphological characters were analyzed using ANOVA at the 95% and 99% confidence level, then continued with tests of Least Significant Difference (LSD) and the result observation from the morphological observations were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the eight Nepenthes species had the same anatomical structure consisting of cuticle, epidermis, and mesophyll tissue with varying sizes between species. The morphological characters of eight Nepenthes species varied among species with different sizes. The petiole is only owned by N. ampullaria, N. mirabilis, N. rafflesiana, the pitch that has a waist shape is only owned by N. mirabilis, N, gracilis, and N. tobaica, the most striking pitch color is N. rafflesiana. Abstract

Balsam or garden balsam (Impatiens balsamina L.) is a widely grown flowering plant belonging to the family Balsaminaceae. The most conspicuous part to distinguish the balsam is the difference in the flower shape and colors of each cultivar. The purpose of this research is to find out the cultivars diversity of the balsam. The method used in this study was survey with purposive sampling. The variables observed in this study was morphological characteristics including the stem, leaves, flowers, fruits, and seeds. The data obtained were analysed descriptively. The result of this study showed that there were 15 cultivars of I. Balsamina i.e. 'Pinkish White 5 Petal', 'Mix Pink Camellia, 'Pinkish White Camellia, 'Vivid Pink', 'White', 'Light Pink', 'Pinkish White', 'Light Magenta', 'Vivid Red', 'Red Camellia, 'Reddish Camellia, 'Rose Red Camellia, 'Vivid Magenta Camellia, 'Rose Green Camellia, and 'Vivid Pink Camellia’.

Abstract

Perkebunan tebu Pusat Penelitian Agronomi (Puslitagro) Jatitujuh Majalengka merupakan salah satu perkebunan tebu yang ditanami tebu lahan kering. Gulma adalah masalah utama yang dihadapi pada budidaya tebu lahan kering. Kehadiran gulma akan mempersulit pemeliharaan dan panen serta menurunkan kualitas penebangan tebu, baik yang dilakukan secara manual maupun mekanik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi dan keanekaragaman spesies gulma di daerah perkebunan tebu Puslitagro Jatitujuh Majalengka sebagai dasar dalam pengendalian gulma dan mengetahui faktor-faktor lingkungan abiotik di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, keanekaragaman spesies gulma di Perkebunan Tebu Pusitagro Jatitujuh Majalengka terdapat 46 spesies yang termasuk dalam 16 familia. Kemerataan gulma tergolong tinggi, dari data yang didapat masing-masing area lebih dari satu. Area Kidang Kencana Timur (1,94) tergolong tinggi, area Kidang Kencana Tengah (1,89) tergolong tinggi, dan area Rancabugang (1,83) tergolong tinggi. Keanekaragaman spesies gulma tertinggi terdapat pada area Kidang Kencana Timur (3,15) dengan suhu udara 32°C, kelembaban tanah 75%, dan pH tanah 7,1

Abstract

Natural dyes are compounds that can be produced from various types of natural sources. Plants that produce natural dyes can be obtained from their parts such as leaves, bark, fruit skin, seeds, roots and flowers, which have gone through several processes, namely boiling, burning, crushing, pounding and immediately used. This study aims to determine the types of plants used as natural dyes for batik, and to determine which parts of plant organs are used as natural dyes for batik. The method used in this research is a survey method. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. Data were collected by observing and interviewing the batik home industry in Banyumas Regency. The parameters used are the types of plants and plant organs that are used as natural dyes for batik. Data were tabulated and identified for analysis. Analysis of the research data was carried out descriptively. Plant used as natural batik dyes in several Batik Home Industries in Banyumas Regency consists of 12 plant species the parts of plants were roots, stems, leaves, tubers, wood, bark, fruit skin, and coir. Natural dyes of batik are obtained by boiling and pounding. Then Used by Soaking, Dipping, and to draw motifs.

Abstract

Promotional activities via social media such as Instagram are a form of marketing communication mix that is directly related to the level of consumer exposure until consumers make the decision to buy this syar'i gamis product. The demographic diversity of consumer characteristics also greatly influences the effectiveness of promotions via social media. The aim of this research is firstly to analyze the effectiveness of promotion of Islamic gamis via Instagram, secondly to find out how big the relationship is between follower characteristics and effectiveness of promotion via Instagram of Islamic gamis products and thirdly to find out consumer responses regarding the use of promotional syar'i gamis products. 'i via social media Instagram.The results of this research are that promotions carried out via Instagram are quite good. Promotion of syar'i gamis through social media Instagram is very effective in stimulating attention, increasing respondents' knowledge of the products being marketed, generating interest in followers, generating desire and ultimately making followers buy syar'i gamis products and then recommending them to other people.
