Abstract

Radar Absorbing Materials (RAM) or radar absorbing materials of radar electromagnetic waves are materials used to reduce or eliminate radiation of radar electromagnetic waves in order to avoid reflection of waves. At this time the development of RAM research leads to materials derived from nature. Some materials derived from nature that has been used as RAM such as rice husk, bamboo, coconut shell, coconut husk, wood fiber, and wood flour. In this study, eichornia crassipe is made into biocarbon or activated carbon for use as a base material for RAM. Carbonization is one way to transform water hyacinth into biocarbon or activated carbon. The method used in this research is Experimental Research. The independent variables of this research are carbonization temperature starting from temperature 500oC, 600oC, 700oC, 800oC, 900oC and 1000oC. The results showed that the higher the carbonization temperature, the more open pores will be with 2 μm diameter at 1000oC, and the higher the carbonization temperature than the percentage of carbon crystal formed higher with the value of 14% at temperatures 900oC and 1000oC. The biocarbon structure of eichornia crassipe is crystalline and amorphous making it suitable for use as RAM material.

Abstract

In this study we can determine the effect of temperature on wavelength and frequency on fiber optic media by using a splitter by looking at the measured wavelengths when the optical fiber is heated using an aluminum intermediate as a heat sensor. With temperatures to be used ranging from 270?C to 400?C. The measurement was carried out using an Optical Spectrum Analyzer (OSA) device. From the temperature variations given, the conclusion is that the greater the temperature given, the farther the wavelength shift and the smaller the resulting frequency. The wavelength produced on the fiber optic splitter cable 1 to the fiber optic splitter cable 4 has almost the same wavelength value starting from a temperature of 270 ° C- 400 ° C. the difference occurs when the cable before the splitter and after the seplitter. The validity level in each splitter has a different persesn value such as the splitter has a validity value of 99.80%, splitter 2 has a validity of 99.72%, Splitter 3 has a validity of 99.72% and splitter 4 has a validity of 99.70%

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in Indonesia because of its taste and aroma. Coffee in its presentation has different types which are determined by the coffee beans maturity level during roasting, including light roast, medium roast and dark roast. Each of the three types of roasting profiles has a different level of moisture in the beans. The use of a roaster machine to determine the coffee beans maturity level often uses temperature and roasting time settings. Knowing the capacitance value in determining the roasting l evel is expected to increase the accuracy of the roasting level. In this study, a capacitor sensor consisting of two parallel copper plates was designed to determine the roasted coffee beans maturity level. The frequency value and color sensor in the system were used to determine the basic value of the classification of Kawi coffee beans maturity level in the fuzzy system. Based on the results, namely at a parallel cap acitor sensor distance of 2 cm, the oscilloscope readings of dark maturity have a frequency range between 201KHz - 213KHz, medium in the range 179KHz - 206KHz and light 178KHz - 200KHz. Meanwhile, the Arduino frequency counter readings at the dark maturity level in range of 204KHz - 234KHz, medium in range of 210KHz - 227KHz and light at 205KHz - 223KHz. The results of the maturity level classification of Kawi coffee beans with fuzzy values for dark < 43.50, 43.50 < medium < 174 and light > 174.

Abstract

The increase in private vehicles number will also increase the number of crimes such as vehicle theft. So the owner must have a garage to increase security. However, generally security systems still use standard security. So, a system was developed to improve security and make it easier to be more effective using the ESP32 microcontroller to process the user's distance and speed values ??to control the rolling door using fuzzy logic, monitor whether or not vehicles are in the garage through a smartphone application, manage the queuing system on the smartphone application and find out the quality of the network used. Data retrieval is done by testing the hardware performance, namely the MG996R Servo Motor, ultrasonic sensor HC-SR04, Magnetic Switch MC-38, Infrared Sensor, Buzzer Module, and 1W HPL LED and the performance of smartphone application software made using Android Studio. From the test results, the speed of the servo motor with forward rotation is obtained from fuzzy logic processing to get the maximum and minimum values. A monitoring system to determine the presence or absence of a car in the garage by utilizing the color change of the view on the smartphone application. In automatic mode the smartphone application uses a queue system, where only one user can use the application, so other users cannot access the smartphone application and receive notifications. Based on the ITU-T standard, network quality testing (QOS) using wireshark software with parameters delay, packet loss and throughput gets a very good category value.

Abstract

Due to the length of the plant area on the road, usually many plants witheror are damaged due to uncontrolled watering. Watering staff on the street usually water the plants periodically. Watering the road plants sometimes causes small congestion and there are parts of the plants that are not watered because it is done manually.The purpose of this research is to create a design of road plant wateringcontrol system humidity-based using a soil moisture sensor, nodeMCU, relaymodule, voltage regulator, and dynamo sprayer. The results of the performance of this device are influenced by the time of the watering schedule and the soil moisture content of the plants.  The results of the design and testing of the tool obtained an automatic plant watering system design and can monitor plant soil moisture with the Thingspeak platform via a web browser. Watering will be done automatically when the time of the watering schedule is entered and the soil moisture is dry. The resultsof the soil sensor readings on soil moisture form an ADC value range of 500 - 900 when the sensor is wet, while 901 - 1023 when the sensor is dry. The delay value for sending data from the soil moisture monitoring system is 0.473 ms at node 1, 0.433 ms at node 2, and 0.245 at node 3. Where the delay value for each node is categorized as good (0 - 150 ms) according to ITUT standards.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to design a capacitive sensor system to investigate the effect of Dampit coffee roasting on the relative permeability of coffee. Where this relative permeability value will be used as a reference to determine the level of Dampit coffee roasting. The method used is to design an oscillator circuit, where a capacitive sensor is used as a component of the oscillator. The capacitive sensor is composed of 2 square copper plates with a side length of 10 cm. The distance between the copper plates varies from 2 cm, 3 cm, 4 cm, and 5 cm. The type of oscillator used in this study is an RC oscillator with 4049 CMOS IC. The results of this study indicate that dark roasted coffee has the highest frequency, the largest capacitor value, and the smallest permeability value. Increasing the distance between the copper plates increases the output frequency of the capacitive sensor. The average relative permeativity of dark coffee is 10.92; medium coffee of 12.45; and light coffee of 14.4.

Abstract

Nutrient content and efficacy of the oyster mushroom has a high protein with a complete amino acids, including essential amino acids needed manusia.Selain itutuna oyster contains vitamins B1, B2 and some mineral salts of the elements Ca, P, Fe, Na and K . The fiber content of 7.4% until the mushrooms start of 27.6% is very good for digestion. While the meatballs are generally the typical food of the city of Malang are usually made from raw material although recent beef can also be made from raw materials of fish, chicken and mushroom. Apart easily cultivated oyster mushrooms also are cheap and plentiful and can be purchased at any place. Communities with lower economic levels can utilize adequate nutrition by consuming the mushrooms. Making meatballs from the basic ingredients of oyster mushrooms are also very easy to manufacture so diharapkakn could be an alternative to improve nutrition can also be developed to increase revenues when produced as meatballs mushrooms. Pre-test results showed that before the training participants still do not understand about the material with a mean value of 1.92. After carrying out training post test mean value becomes 3.75 This means participants' understanding of the material provided increased 98.5135%. This shows that the community service activities managed to improve the knowledge and skills of participants in the process recipe meatballs made from fresh oyster mushrooms.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara muslim terbesar di dunia, dengan jumlah 264 juta penduduk yang tersebar di berbagai pulau. Dengan mayoritas penduduk Indonesia yang beragama muslim maka jumlah tempat peribadatan atau masjid jumlahnya sebanding dengan penduduknya. Saat ini terdapat sekitar 250 ribu masjid dan 550 ribu mushala. Namun dari jumlah tersebut tercatat ribuan masjid masih mempunyai peralatan dan penataan sistem tata suara yang buruk. Masjid Haji Agus Salim yang ada di jalan piranha atas kota malang termasuk dalam kategori mempunyai kualitas suara yang buruk. Pada pengabdian ini diusulkan pelatihan penataan dan instalasi sistem tata suara di Masjid Haji Agus Salim kota malang. Diharapkan dengan adanya pelatihan dan penataan sistem tata suara ini kualitas suara yang dihasilkan semakin bagus sehingga membuat nyaman masyarakat yang ingin beribadah. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 20 jamaah masjid merasa sangat puas dengan tata suara yang ada di masjid haji agus salim.

Abstract

A room with too humid conditions can cause mold and bacteria to multiply quickly. The humidity level of the room can be influenced by several factors such as the temperature level and the intensity of light entering the room. Even so, the use of lighting as a sterilizer is currently still lacking in reducing the level of humidity in the room. For this reason, it is necessary to develop technology in the form of a control system for the use of led and ultraviolet lamps in the study room by utilizing the IoT system, so that it can turn on the lights and utilize electrical energy. In this study, the Internet of Things system was applied as a control for Web cameras, Gyml 8511, DHT11, and BH1750 sensors. Data from the sensor will be sent from Arduino uno to a local server, namely raspberry pi 4 using NRF24L01. The communication system between nodes is designed with a mesh topology that can determine the fastest route in the process of sending information. The result of this research is monitoring on the web display that displays the condition of the class and the condition of the lights. From the experimental results, it is found that the mesh communication system can work well.

Abstract

Paper is one type of archive that is stored in the Archives Building. Maintenance of paper type archives needs to be considered to avoid mold growth and discoloration due to cigarette smoke. Therefore, a telecontrolling device is needed that can maintain a stable air humidity at 30% - 55% and a temperature of 15 °C - 22 °C. However, devices with a frequency of 2.4 GHz should not be used simultaneously in the same area because it will cause interference that can reduce performance. In this study, a temperature tele controlling system and smoke detection in the archive warehouse were made using hybrid visible light communication technology to improve data transmission performance. The system consists of 1 transmitter node connected to DHT 22, MQ 2, LED laser and WiFi network, as well as 2 receiver nodes to control the fan and water pump. The data from the receiver will be passed through the photodiode and then processed by the microcontroller. If the temperature value reaches the threshold, the receiver node will send a command so that the fan will turn on automatically, then if the smoke value reaches the threshold, the water pump will turn on automatically. The temperature and smoke values ??can be monitored in real time through the android application. The test results show that the use of hybrid visible light communication technology in the tele controlling system makes the delivery performance better.
