Abstract

In fact, women who are born into the world have the same rights as men. However, the reality shows that women who live and settle in North Padang Lawas have different rights and treatment from men. Such unequal treatment is based on existing customs and has been entrenched for a long time in people's daily lives. This paper aims to determine the existence of women in the Batak Angkola family in North Padang Lawas from the perspective of the customs prevailing in North Padang Lawas. The conclusion is that the values, norms and culture that exist in the Batak Angkola community in North Padang Lawas have unconsciously created symbolic violence against women even though they feel that what they experience is not a form of violence. However, it is natural and also a form of devotion and a form of affection for the family. There have been several changes and shifts in the values and cultural norms that exist in the Batak Angkola community of Padang Lawas Utara. The changes and shifts are continuous, some are due to the demands of the times, as well as the higher level of education, experience and acculturation that exist in the Angkola Batak community. Meanwhile, Islam views humans as creatures who have the same basic rights regardless of gender.

Abstract

Artikel ini disusun berdasarkan kasus yang dialami anggota kepolosian Aipda Ambarita saat melakukan tugasnya dan melakukan pengecekan ponsel terhadap pemuda yang ditemui saat melintas. Hal ini terkait dengan pelanggaran konfidensialitas saat bertugas. Konfidensialitas merupakan sebuah status atau keadaan dimana hal-hal tertentu menjadi tertutup bagi pihak-pihak yang tidak seharusnya memiliki akses dan meliputi semua hal yang bersifat lisan maupun tulisan mengenai suatu hal yang terjadi sebelumnya ataupun yang yang direncanakan. Artikel ini menganalisa bagaimana Penerapan Etika Profesi dilihat dari konteks kebijakan publik dan administrasi publik karena setiap pelaksanaan pekerjaan dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

In implementing an empowerment in society, paying attention to communication strategies is very important especially to realize a civilized civil society in building, interpreting and living a life. Realizing a civil society cannot be separated from the role of the community who are involved and participate in equalizing life, both through the economic, political, social and religious fields. Realizing a prosperous and prosperous society requires skills in communication and action. Through independent mosques, it is hoped that the goals of community empowerment can be carried out properly. For this reason, this study aims to determine the development communication carried out by the Al-Muhajjirin Bumi Asri Mosque to get to the center of civil society empowerment. In conducting the research, the researcher used qualitative research methods by presenting data in the form of content values, sentences and words related to the research title. In collecting data the author uses the method of observation and community service by examining the conditions around the Al-Muhajjirin Mosque and the development communication process carried out by mosque administrators on the development of independent mosques. So that researchers can draw the conclusion that there are several activities carried out by the Al-Muhajjirin mosque in an effort to empower civil society which include worship activities, recitations, da'wah in minority areas, coaching in minority areas and activities during the month of Ramadan. And the STM program carried out by the Al-Muhajjirin Mosque in an effort to develop an independent mosque

Abstract

An independent mosque is a mosque program that aims to prosper the mosque and the environment around the mosque. In managing and developing independent mosques, of course, we must pay attention to the right strategy in managing independent mosques. Independent mosque management requires proper communication as a channel for conveying information and its development. The communication needed is development communication. According to Peterson, development communication is an organized effort to use communication processes and media to improve the social and economic level that generally takes place in developing countries. This study aims to determine how development communication in the development of an independent mosque at Masjid Al-Muhajjirin Bumi Asri. This research uses qualitative research methods. Qualitative research is descriptive research and tends to use analysis. Process and meaning are highlighted in qualitative research. The theoretical basis is used as a guide so that the research focus is in accordance with the facts on the ground. The data collection method is by observing the Al-Muhajjirin Bumi Asri Mosque, interviews with mosque administrators, and devotion at the Al-Muhajjirin Bumi Asri Mosque. So the author can draw the conclusion that the development communication strategy used in the development of an independent mosque at the Al-Muhajjirin Bumi Asri Mosque is a strategy of using media, marketing, and also participatory.

Abstract

Until now, Indonesia is still one of the developing countries, where most of the population lives in rural areas and around 50% of the population lives from agriculture. Therefore, the development communication strategy is still focused on rural areas. This is in accordance with the opinion of Depari and Mc Andrews (1991) that until now the development communication strategy is still limited to rural broadcasts, both through mass media and the use of development extension officers. Therefore, it is necessary to think further, how existing communication efforts can be developed, especially in facing the challenges of the globalization era.

Abstract

Conflict is something that cannot be avoided in life, especially in social life. In society, lifestyle is often influenced by what people read, see, so that whatever they feel they will do or follow. So that not a little western culture mushroomed among the people of Indonesia. The culture that is often followed by the community is called popular culture, yes it is a new thing and is being liked by many people. But it's not uncommon for popular culture to have its own conflicts, where the culture often violates the ethics that exist in our country, Indonesia, such as the rise of LGBT films which of course are very common and inappropriate to watch, or the proliferation of fast food that is being loved. The real muna is not good for health. There is only a small amount contained in the abstract because the discussion is so complex about "CONFLICT OF INTEREST AND POPULAR CULTURE" so that in this study the author has summarized what the researcher has researched regarding the conflict of interest of culture and popular, in which the researcher uses historical research methods that use historical sources. from various journals and other related matters.

Abstract

In communicating, of course, good communication skills and skills are needed which can create mutual understanding in communication. Communication messages will be conveyed properly if the delivery of messages is carried out with good communication ethics. Media is an effective means of communication used in the era of communication technology. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection methods through literacy studies and then analysis is carried out with field conditions so that it can be concluded that good literacy skills in sorting and selecting media content are a form of communication ethics which are also related to Islamic communication ethics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang manajemen pelaksanaan dakwah GP Ansor dalam. upaya pencegahan dini ujaran kebencian dan radikalisme dengan berlandaskan Ahlussunah Wal Jamaa’ah, An Nahdliyin dan kebaangsaan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa GP Ansor Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai mampu memanajemen setiap kegiatan yang dilakukan dalam upaya deteksi dini terhadap ujaran kebencian dan gerakan radikalisme di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. GP Ansor Serdang Bedagai berusaha menyebarkan dan menanamkan gagasan Islam ahlussunah wal jamaa’ah, nahdlyin, dan kebangsaan

Abstract

In this study, we examined about a tourism that is famous for its culture. Introduction to culture and history that is the main destination on this tour, namely the old comrades located in the old village, Labu Beach. Culture is a legacy from ancestors that must continue to be developed, but because of the many factors that make culture farther from civilization, making the next generation forget and even do not know the existing heritage. Technology is one way to know a culture that has long been lost and even forgotten. In addition, kawan lama tourism is a way to introduce the culture in the old kampung village, the culture is in the form of Malay customs, both dances, typical foods, traditional clothes and traditional Malay tools.

Abstract

In general, this research aims to find out how young married couples communicate in maintaining household harmony in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, what are the factors that cause young marriages in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, how do young married couples behave? in resolving conflicts that occur within households in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district. This type of research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach which aims to describe information in detail according to the reality that occurs at the research location. Data was obtained through observation and interviews. Data analysis for this research uses a version of the Miles and Hermawan data model which includes data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research show that the factors causing young marriages in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district are economic, parents and their own will, the communication patterns used by young married couples in maintaining household harmony in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district are cooperative communication patterns and defensive communication patterns and the way young married couples resolve conflicts in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, is to communicate well, be open to each other, lower the ego of each partner and accept all forms of the partner's strengths and weaknesses.
