Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know both the type of error and the most dominant error made by students in writing narrative text at the second grade students of SMK N 1 Sigli. This study is qualitative research as suggested by Noor (2011). The purpose of this research is to analyze the errors which actually committed by students on their writing. This research is a case study which clarifies the natural circumstance. The writer collect the data by using a set of written test. The procedures of Error Analysis (EA) adopted from Corder (1974) as cited in Ellis (2008:48). The data nanalized by using table of freqency the result showed that the error made by the students can be categorized into four types of errors. Those were errors of omission, errors of addition, errors of misformation, and errors of misordering. Another result showed that the most dominant error in writing narrative text made by the students was error of misformation. In describing the type of error, it can be inferred that there are 25 items of error, which occur in the students’ sentences.

Abstract

This study aims to provide legal protection to tenant fishermen in the agreement for fisheries products between owner fishermen and tenant fishermen in Sibolga. The research used is a merger of legal research and social research (mix method), using a legislative approach and descriptive explorative approach. Data is collected through primary data and secondary data, and analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of the study that the agreement for the sharing of fisheries between the owner's fishermen and fisherman cultivators in the City of Sibolga conducted unwritten this is considered a hereditary habit. The start of the agreement begins with an invitation to ABK regarding when to leave for sea, while the end of the agreement occurs when there is a distribution of wages received by ABK. In the production sharing agreement, the owner's fisherman gets 90% while the sharper fisherman gets a 10% share. Because there are no written rules regarding fisheries yield sharing agreements, if there is a dispute between the owner's fishermen and the HNSI cultivating fishermen who act as mediators to resolve the problem in good faith between the two parties.

Abstract

This research is entitled “The Use of Make a Match Technique in Teaching How to Commicate about Greeting in Student Class X MIA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Sigli in the Academic Year 2021/2022.” The expected goal is to improve English speaking skills in greeting. The problem behind this research is the lack of student interest in learning to speak. To overcome this, it takes effort and creativity of teachers. The use of card media with several forms of greeting is one of the efforts to solve this problem. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis. The results showed that 75% achieved complete learning and as many as 89.7% of students actively participated in learning. With the use of the card media, it can improve the results of learning English in the speaking skills aspect of class X MIA 3 students of SMA Negeri 1 Sigli. In addition, the use of card media can increase student motivation and activity in the learning process so that learning outcomes also increase.
