Abstract

The party school is the PDI-P's answer to the defeat of the 2004 general election. Through the party school, the consolidation of cadres is carried out intensely so that every candidate for the party leadership council, regional head and deputy regional head, and members of the legislature is required to attend party schools. The institutionalization of political parties through party schools was carried out simultaneously with the affirmation of the political position of the PDI-P, successively as: the Ideological Party based on Pancasila in 2005; affirmation of party management is identical to managing the state in 2010, and PDI-P as the Pioneer Party in 2015 and 2019. The purposes of this paper are to: 1. analyze the significance of party schools in improving the quality of party cadres. 2 to explain the influence of party schools on party institutionalization and the development of party identity and identity on the basis of party ideology, culture and identity. 3. Explain the influence of party schools in suppressing the tendency to personalize leadership within the party. This writing method uses a qualitative descriptive approach and the writing of this paper uses the literature review method (library research). Through this literature review, it was found that the party school was part of the cadre system built by the PDI-P to forge its cadres to become the best candidate leaders for the community. Party schools involve three party pillars, namely structural, legislative, and executive cadres.

Abstract

The lack of records about the involvement and contribution of women in Sufism texts cannot be used as an excuse that women have a small role and position in the development and dissemination of Sufism teachings, doctrines and practices. So far, the well-known female Sufis, namely Rabi'ah al-Adawiyah (717-801) and Aishah al-Ba'uniyyah (c. 1456-1517), are two big names who prove that women have equal opportunities in spiritual attainment. Many researchers discuss female Sufis but focus on the eastern world and parts of India, only a few researchers have written about female Sufis in the West, therefore the authors are interested in discussing female Sufis in the West. This research is a library research. The author uses a literature review with the data sources used in this paper are secondary data originating from the literature such as books, journals, articles, and various sources that are relevant to the theme of the discussion in this paper.. The results of the study describe female Sufisin the contemporary era such as Hajjah Amina Adil and Hajjah Naziha Adil with their organizations engaged in philanthropy. Then another female Sufi is Nahid Angha who is known as one of the founders of the International Sufi Woman Organization, a world Sufi women's organization. This organization is concerned with peace programs and women's empowerment. The next female Sufi, namely Eva de Vitray in the path of Sufism, Eva de Vitray-Meyerovitch or Hawwa Hanim, took allegiance to the murshid of the Qadiriyah order from Morocco, Sheikh Hamzah al-Qadiri al-Boutchichi. Abstract

Abstract

The optimal trade policies are essential to determine the balance between international trade liberalization and protection in order to advance palm oil. Protection is carried out by limiting the export of CPO, while the liberalization applies to raw supporting materials that are not produced in Indonesia. However, the export limitations need to be implemented carefully to avoid counterproductivity to the palm oil industry. This study recommended necessary trade policies to enhance palm oil downstreaming, as well as assessed existing efforts and current policies. This study estimated that a 5% reduction in upstream product export and a 15% increase in downstream product export could rise Indonesian foreign exchange earnings by approximately 7 million USD annually. Descriptive statistics and value-added calculations were employed in this study. Indonesia should restrict the Crude Palm Oil (CPO) towards the countries that exclusively involved in the palm oil trade, guaranteeing that Indonesian palm oil products reach nations where they are utilized. To protect palm oil downstreaming industries, including food, cosmetics, detergents, chemicals, and animal feed, it is vital to regulate imports. Furthermore, strategic trade policies should be enacted to facilitate the export of these refined products. Strengthened negotiation and diplomatic capabilities are also indispensable.

Abstract

A large country like Indonesia should have a law on national security, as a basis for law enforcement and national security stability. Conflicts regarding the authority to take action against threats and enforce the law by the military and/or civilians should have been eliminated by formulating a comprehensive and firm terminology for National Security as a whole. The separation of laws and MPR Decrees regarding the TNI and POLRI clearly describes the duties and powers of each, including the handling and types of threats faced. The problem of "fear" of the takeover of authority by the military if the escalation of threats threatens state sovereignty, should be eliminated by clearly and firmly formulating the clauses of involvement and enforcement powers in the law, to eliminate these concerns. Every potential threat, both from outside and from within the country, should be seen as a serious threat and handled together for the sake of the integrity and stability of the country's security. For this reason, it is time to have the courage to stipulate rules of engagement in every escalation of threats, and the authorities of the agencies involved, as well as government officials who have the right to determine the escalation and involvement of agencies.
