Abstract

Muamalah is the sunnatullah of man as a social being. One form of mammalian is in the form of employment relations. Labour relations in the modern era developed into industrial relations and experienced developments in form and scope. The Indonesian state based on Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution aspires to realise fair industrial relations formulated in Pancasila Industrial relations. On the other hand, the majority of Indonesia's population is Muslim and has fair industrial relations. Efforts to realise fair industrial relations through the approach of the Indonesian constitution, namely industrial relations and the approach of the mullah principle, can be juxtaposed. In the national context, the government formulated Pancasila Industrial Relations as the goal of developing and fostering Industrial Relations. The author will discuss the Islamic perspective on justice in industrial relations and the role of each in realising equitable industrial relations. The compatibility and differences between these approaches can be a dissolution to realising justice in industrial relations to its order and application

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between the PDI Perjuangan Party and Islam in Indonesian electoral politics. This study is important because the relationship between nationalism and the position of Islam in the political realm of Indonesia with the largest Muslim population in the world is relatively complex and problematic. Based on Michael Foucault's concept of power, it can be seen that the position of Islam within the PDI Perjuangan Party forms a system of power relations. Methodologically, this study uses a qualitative approach and literature study methods. Literature studies are carried out by searching, collecting and studying written materials in the form of speech texts, Party Congress minutes, books, journals and also websites of authoritative institutions. The results of the study show that the relationship between PDI Perjuangan Party and Islam was built by integrating national and Islamic values in political programs that were in line with the party's ideology. The implementation of PDIP Party and Islam relations includes: First, consistently in the 2004, 2014 and 2019 presidential elections pairing nationalist-religious figures as Presidential Candidates and Vice-Presidential Candidates, namely Megawati Sukarnoputri-Hasyim Muzadi (2004), Joko Widodo-Jusuf Kalla (2014), and Joko Widodo-KH. Ma'ruf Amin (2019). Second, in the Pilkada pairing of nationalist-religious figures and the recorded number of NU cadres who became regional heads who came from PDIP Party was 109 regional heads, one of which was the pair Ganjar Pranowo (PDI Perjuangan Party) and Taj Yasin Maimoen (PPP) in the 2018 Pilkada. Third, collaboration PDI Perjuangan Party with religious institutions, such as NU and Muhammdiyah. Fourth, institutionally in the 2005-2010 Management it added the “Religion and Spirituality Sector” (now the “Religious Affairs and Belief in God Almighty” Sector) and the fundamental thing was establishing the Baitul Muslimin Indonesia (Bamusi) party wing on 29 March 2007. In this context Bamusi is an effort of Governmentality.

Abstract

Indonesia's position as the largest vegetable oil producer is very strong in the world trade. Nonetheless, the Netherlands and Malaysia trade the Indonesian palm oil, which leads to a significant generation of profits. This research demonstrates the role of Indonesia in the global trade of vegetable oil. It illustrates the rivalry among vegetable oil producers and exporters and the dependence of vegetable oil importers on Indonesia. The annual volume data of vegetable oil production, export, and import sourced from FAO STAT in 2010-2020 were used. The data were processed and analyzed using descriptive statistics. Palm oil is the most widely acquired vegetable oil. The production of this oil is plentiful, and its price is the most economical compared to other vegetable oils. Soybean oil was the main competitor of palm oil, with the primary producers being China and the United States. The negative campaign against Indonesian palm oil could not weaken Indonesia's competitiveness in the global vegetable oil trade. Indonesia should limit palm oil exports to Europe and Malaysia while increasing exports to countries that only use it for domestic consumption. Coconut oil had the most potential to increase vegetable oil production in Indonesia. Indonesia's prominence in the global trade of edible oil is supreme. However, this preeminent status may be deteriorated by nations engaged in the commerce of Indonesian palm oil. Therefore, Indonesia should continuously update the world vegetable oil trade map to emphasize the point and level of export elevation or reduction. Indonesia should also develop and increase the production of other vegetable oil products to strengthen its position in the world's oil trade.
