Abstract

An essay poetry is a form of poetry which exploring the long and stage of social reality, using simple language, and doing research before, indicated by using a footnote in its presentation. The Essay Poetry of “Sapu Tangan Fang Yin” by Denny J.A. is one of the essay poetries that explores a riot in May 1998. The problem of this article is how the “Sapu Tangan Fang Yin” describes the reality of the May 1998 riot. By applying  the historical approach, the depiction of the poem about the riot is obtained. Denny J.A. as the initiator of essay poetic offers five platforms about this kind of poetry;

Abstract

The short stories collection Tunggu Aku di Sungai Duku by Hary B. Koriun presents existentialism, a form of waiting. His eleven stories are about the loyalty of waiting something expected. Despite all these waitings have caused injuries, they remained faithful to do them. With all the freedom, the characters in the short stories have represented an existentialism. Through socio-hermeneutic approach to literature, this study aims to determine the forms of waiting that represents an existentialism in the sh ort stories collection. By using the descriptive analysis, it can be c oncluded that all forms of waiting they are doing is a form of self-existence.

Abstract

Pengasuhan di lingkungan pesantren memiliki peran strategis dalam pembentukan karakter santri secara holistik, baik secara spiritual, emosional, maupun sosial. Namun, masih banyak pesantren di Indonesia yang menerapkan pola pengasuhan otoriter yang minim dialog dan kurang responsif terhadap kebutuhan psikologis santri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji transformasi pola pengasuhan santri di Pesantren Islam Hidayatunnajah dari pendekatan otoriter menuju Religious Authoritative Parenting, serta menilai efektivitas dan tantangannya dalam membangun relasi pengasuhan yang seimbang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan telaah dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Religious Authoritative Parenting mampu menciptakan kedekatan emosional, meningkatkan kedisiplinan berbasis kesadaran, serta membentuk iklim pengasuhan yang lebih dialogis dan religius. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pengasuhan berbasis ketegasan dan empati sangat relevan untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pesantren, serta mendukung kebijakan nasional tentang pengasuhan ramah anak berbasis nilai-nilai Islam

Abstract

This research aims to identify wayang beber (stretch sheet of paper with episodes of wayang painting) Remeng Mangunjaya's creative industry potential to create a cultural-educational tourism village. Researchers use an advocacy and participatory research paradigm, as well as textual, transformational, and hermeneutic phenomenology methodologies. Researchers conducted the study at Gelaran 2, located in Bejiharjo Village, Karangmojo Sub-district, Gunungkidul Regency, where wayang beber is preserved. Eleven research participants who were emotionally, structurally, and professionally connected to wayang beber and the culture-based tourism sector were involved in gathering the data through observation, interviews, and group discussions. The analysis applied descriptive-qualitative methodologies, design (creation), and interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA). This study revealed that Wayang Beber Remeng Mangunjaya has a high potential for growth into creative industry products (publishing, multimedia, fashion, crafts, cuisine, etc.) and provides a solid foundation for developing a cultural-educative tourism village. The outcomes of this study can help stakeholders who are concerned about improving the community's economic well-being through culture-based tourism villages.
