Abstract

The source of water flow in rivers or irrigation canals has a relatively small flow rate of water, which can be used as a pico hydropower plant. One of the main components of a pico hydropower plant is a water wheel, a hybrid pico hydropowerplant is a combination of hydroelectric power and solar power. By utilizing the power of the water flow in a small river or ditch in Wukirsari hamlet, we designed a waterwheel that will convert the energy of motion into electrical energy. The solar panel system designer uses a 50 wp solar cell, a 300 W inverter, a 10 Ampere solar charger controller, and a 12 Volt, 32 Ah battery. The no-load test results on the performance of the single pinwheels and the performance of the double pinwheels at a water level of 37 cm get an average power of 3.2 W and 2.11 W. The resulting voltage is 6.72 V, the current is 0.46 A for a single mill, while for the double pinwheel the voltage is 5,26 , and the current is 0.38 A. From the experimental results, it is better if the single pinwheel and the double pinwheel are used. In a series of no-load solar panels fromPower test results, at 11.00 GMT+7 the highest power value was 33.25 W. The electricity generated by the pico hydro hybrid was used by the people of Wukirsari Hamlet as street lighting. Key words: water wheel, hybrid power, solar panels

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi dewasa ini begitu pesat hampir di seluruh aspek kehidupan, kemajuan teknologi elektronika dan aplikasinya telah memberi banyak keuntungan bagi kehidupan manusia. Dengan penggunaan peralatan elektronika kegiatan manusia dapat dilakukan secara efektif dan efisien baik di rumah, di tempat kerja, dan di tempat-tempat lainnya. Peralatan elektronika dituntut harus dapat dioperasikan jarak jauh tanpa harus mendekati atau menyentuh peralatan tersebut.Dengan menggunakan gelombang radio, jarak jangkaunya lebih jauh/luas, dapat menembus penghalang, pengoperasiannya tanpa harus mengarahkan pada sensor. Gelombang radio atau gelombang elektromagnetik dapat digunakan untuk pengiriman sinyal DTMF. Sinyal DTMF selain untuk nada dial pada pesawat telepon, juga dapat digunakan untuk sistem pengendalian, yaitu digunakan pada peralatan perangkat elektronik.Pemrosesan sinyal keluaran DTMF masih menggunakan sistem analog, perlunya perancangan alat dengan sistem mikrokontroller dan untuk mempercantik penampilan dari indikator, perlunya menggunakan rangkaian seven segmen atau menggunakan LCD (Liquid Crystal Disply).

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi dan Telekomunikasi dengan internet menjadi prioritas utama dalam perkembangan kemajuan dunia. Perkembangan ini memberikan terobosan baru dalam pembelajaran mobile dengan memanfaatkan perangkat TI genggam atau yang biasa disebut dengan mobile learning (m-learning). M-Learning memiliki beberapa kelebihan kemampuan untuk pembelajaran yang bisa diakses kapan saja, di mana saja, oleh siapa saja. Masalah yang masih pada m-learning adanya keterbatasan hardware dan platform sehingga diperlukan rancangan dengan sistem dan kemudahan dalam mengakses. Disamping itu juga diperlukan penelitian khusus yang menangani tiap bagian yang ada pada m-learning agar didapat kenyamanan pada user. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menangani masalah dengan memanfaatkan multimedia sebagai konten yang bisa memberikan informasi yang lebih jelas dan spesifik. Layanan multimedia m-learning ini memerlukan koneksi dan akses internet yang bagus dan juga memerlukan hardware yang mumpuni agar bisa menikmati keseluruhan layanan dengan baik, untuk itu digunakan ponsel yang mendukung fasilitas mobile multimedia. Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah software dan konten berbasis selular, sedang target utamanya adalah rancangan m-learning dengan layanan multimedia. Abstract

Every life is never separated from the need for water because water is a basic need, especially for humans, both for drinking, bathing, and at the time of pilgrimages to tombstones they the visit. Meanwhile, to get the water, the community lifts it from the nearest water source, namely a healthy water source, which is done manually by drawing water and putting it into a water reservoir. Suppose done enough draining continuously. In addition, to get a power source at the burial site, the community takes electricity from the nearest power source or residents' homes. However, this can be overcome by using an alternative solar power generation system as a driving force for a water pump to lift DC water designed portable to meet water needs. By doing a design using two solar panels of 100watt peak, a solar charge controller with a capacity of 20 amperes and a battery unit with a total of 20Ah able to lift water from the well to a water reservoir 89.034 liters in 8 minutes. The electrical energy required for single use of the water pump is 23.4 Wh, so it is expected to increase the use of time, energy, and the volume of clean water to be more efficient.

Abstract

Tri Sedyo Manunggal Farmer Group in Wukirsari Village, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta faces challenges in managing agricultural land. The irrigation system is still done manually, while the source of electricity to drive the water pump still depends on PLN electricity and fuel. As a solution, an internet of things is needed that can monitor soil pH, humidity, temperature, and leaf color and can be accessed remotely. The irrigation system is automatic, and the power source is obtained from solar panels to drive the water pump to lift water from the well to the output pipe. Four solar panels are used, each panel has a power of 230 watts peak, a solar charge controller with a capacity of 50 amperes, two soil pH sensors, two humidity sensors, two temperature sensors, and two color sensors. The battery used is a 12-volt Valve Regulated Lead Acid (VRLA) type with a capacity of 100 Ah. A water pump with a capacity of 300 watts with a water discharge of 47 liters per minute can meet the water needs of 1 ha of agricultural land in about 3-4 hours. The maximum electrical power generated by solar panels under maximum sunlight conditions is 920 watts peak, with a maximum current of 11.79 amperes and a maximum voltage (Vmp) of 19.5 volts. Then the solar panel will charge the battery in an empty condition for about 90 minutes in 80% sunlight efficiency conditions.

Abstract

The rice pest control system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) and powered by Solar Power Plants (PLTS) is an innovative solution aimed at enhancing productivity and sustainability in Indonesia's agricultural sector. This community service project, conducted in Wukirsari Village, Kapanewon Cangkringan, Sleman Regency, primarily focuses on addressing pest issues and technological limitations. The designed device integrates ultrasonic sensors and UV light controlled by the ESP32 microcontroller, utilizing PLTS as the energy source. The system can be accessed and controlled remotely via the Blynk server, making monitoring and control more efficient and sustainable. The research methodology includes information gathering, device design, testing, and comprehensive evaluation. Integration with PLTS ensures the system uses environmentally friendly energy. The test results indicate that the device effectively monitors and controls pests while providing ease of management with a responsive modern tool. The device operates in real-time and is highly responsive, supported by solar panels with a capacity of 920W, capable of fully charging the battery in approximately 2.6 hours. This allows the device to operate continuously for 24 hours. The implementation of this technology not only demonstrates reliability in addressing pest issues but also proves that the system can function sustainably, supporting agricultural productivity, and providing significant benefits to farmers in Wukirsari Village.

Abstract

The snack business conducted by the residents of Cintamanik Village has struggled to compete with snacks marketed in Garut, resulting in an insignificant increase in their income. In light of these circumstances, the PKM Team conducted training activities to introduce flower preservation technology to produce preserved roses with high market value. Additionally, training sessions focus on financial management, packaging design, and digital marketing via online marketplaces were provided as marketing tools. The research employed a descriptive analysis by processing primary data through pre-test and post-test of 32 entrepreneurs as respondents. The test outcome indicate an improvement from the pre-test results to the post-test results, indicating that the conducted training significantly enhanced the participants' abilities and knowledge. Particularly, the training enhances skills in preserved rose production and product marketing, facilitating income growth for the participants. Abstract

Industri membutuhkan gudang penyimpanan salah satunya sebagai penyimpanan bahan baku. Jarak yang jauh pada lokasi antar gudang membuat dibutuhkannya piranti seperti kabel yang banyak dalam suatu jaringan pemantauan dan menyebabkan kurangnya efektivitas dalam hal tersebut. Perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi memberikan dampak yang besar bagi manusia yaitu salah satunya mengembangkan teknologi untuk mengukur fenomena yang ada di sekitarnya menggunakan sensor. Membentuk jaringan komunikasi ini dibutuhkan teknologi yang dapat bekerja dengan baik. Permasalahan LoRa bersifat satu arah diatasi dengan penggabungan komunikasi serial. Komunikasi serial dapat bekerja pada jarak jangkauan yang jauh namun via kabel. Penelitian ini berguna untuk menggabungkan teknologi LoRa RFM95W yang dapat via nirkabel dan bekerja sesuai frekuensi di Indonesia namun tidak mempunyai protokol komunikasi dan hanya bisa satu arah dengan komunikasi serial yang dapat menjadikan komunikasi secara dua arah. Dari semua pengujian yang dilakukan, nilai RSSI yang didapatkan masih dalam rentang -70 hingga -120 dBm yang artinya memenuhi regulasi yang disebutkan dalam datasheet LoRa RFM95/96 dengan kurva yang linier pada setiap client.. Dengan kalimat lain, RSSI yang didapatkan dinilai baik karena lebih besar dari nilai minimum yaitu -127 dBm.

Abstract

The aim of this activity is to improve the welfare of farmers in Padukuhan Gumawang, Putat Village, Gunungkidul, through the application of irrigation technology that uses renewable energy, namely solar power. The majority of the population in this village are farmers who depend heavily on agricultural products, especially rice and secondary crops. However, one of the main problems faced is limited water during the dry season, which causes a decrease in agricultural productivity. Therefore, innovative and sustainable solutions are needed to overcome this problem. The method used in community service is designing and testing a tool to obtain a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) as an energy source to operate a submersible pump to support a more efficient and energy-saving irrigation system. Activities carried out include outreach to farmers regarding the benefits of renewable energy technology, PLTS design and installation, as well as equipment maintenance training. Apart from that, ongoing assistance is also provided so that farmers can independently manage this system. The results of this activity show an increase in farmers' understanding of the use of environmentally friendly technology and renewable energy. The PLTS-based irrigation system has succeeded in increasing agricultural land productivity by up to 30% and significantly reducing operational costs, especially savings in terms of purchasing fuel. Apart from that, the application of this technology also contributes to reducing carbon emissions in the region. Thus, this program is able to double the productivity of secondary crops, provide direct financial benefits to farmers and provide a positive and sustainable impact on improving the welfare of farmers in Padukuhan Gumawang.

Abstract

This research focuses on implementing the Digital ID Card in Cirebon Regency, with a case study at the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil). The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of digital ID cards as a form of public service and the extent to which they meet the community's needs. The research method used is a qualitative case study, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The study results show that implementing the Digital ID Card in Cirebon Regency has increased the efficiency and accessibility of population administration services. However, there are challenges regarding socialization, technological infrastructure, and varying levels of people's digital literacy. This research also found that Digital ID Cards are more effective in meeting the needs of people with adequate access to digital technology. The conclusion of this study shows that further development is needed to increase the acceptance and accessibility of Digital ID cards, including improving technological infrastructure and digital education programs for the community. This research has implications for more inclusive and technology-based public policymaking.
