Abstract

Metal-organic framework (MOF) such as ZIF-8 is the tremendous porous material applied in many fields due to high specific surface area and excellent regularity of pores. One technique to improve the physical properties of ZIF-8 with the formation of a composite between a metal oxide and MOF. ZIF-8 and ZIF-8/Al2O3 were successfully synthesized by the solvothermal method with an Al variation of 19%, 38%, and 76%. The ZIF-8/Al2O3 were characterized by XRD, FTIR, SEM, and N2 Physisorption. The diffractogram shows that the appearing of ZIF-8’s peak on 2θ = 7.26; 10.41, 12.66, 16.41, and 17.95°. The morphological of ZIF-8 crystals had a cubic shape. Then the ZIF-8/Al2O3 had different shapes with ZIF-8. Based on the FTIR result, the Zn-N peak appears on 420 cm−1, which indicates the bonding between metal and organic ligand for ZIF-8/Al2O3 has an additional spike on 825 cm−1 due to the vibration of Al−O− Al.

Abstract

Sintesis TiO2-N telah dilakukan dengan metode sol gel. Pada hasil karakterisasi XRD doping TiO2 tidak dapat menghancurkan struktur anatase karena difraktogram TiO2-N mewakili puncak yang serupa dengan TiO2. Intensitas puncak spektra FTIR yang kuat berasal dari gugus hidroksil dalam N-TiO2, dibandingkan dengan TiO2 tanpa doping. Dari hasil pengolahan data hasil karakterisasi UV-DRS didapatkan nilai energi bandgap TiO2 3,33 eV, sedangkan pada fotokatalis TiO2-N energi band gap yang dihasilkan yaitu 3,08 eV. Hasil BET menyebutkan TiO2 memiliki luas permukaan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan TiO2-N. Pada penelitian ini, hasil nilai fluks air murni dan fluks limbah laundry yang paling tinggi terdapat pada membran PES/PEG/TiO2-N yaitu 116,91 L/m2jam pada 2 menit pertama untuk fluks air murni dan 98,636 L/m2jam pada 2 menit pertama untuk fluks limbah dan rejeksi yang dihasilkan mencapai 84,328% untuk nilai penurunan COD dan 82,75% untuk nilai penurunan BOD sehingga penambahan TiO2-N pada membran dapat meningkatkan kinerja membran saat ultrafiltrasi.

Abstract

Virus Corona menyebabkan infeksi gangguan pernafasan serius yang dapat menyebabkan kematian. Berdasarkan data yang dipublikasikan oleh Kementerian Kesehatan Republik Indonesia, Kota Palangka Raya merupakan wilayah dengan kasus pasien terkonfirmasi positif terbesar sebanyak 145 orang dengan jumlah kematian sebesar 8 orang pertanggal 5 Juni 2020. Penyebaran virus, termasuk virus korona, sebesar 98% bersumber dari tangan. Oleh sebab itulah dengan rajin mencucui tangan maka dapart mencegah dan memutus rantai penyebaran virus korona. Jikalau tidak terdapat sabun dan air mengalir, maka dapat menggunakan hand sanitizer seperti yang dianjurkan oleh Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Amerika Serikat. Berdasarkan hal itu, maka kegiatan mempromosikan penggunaan hand sanitizer perlu dilakukan. Kegiatan masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan ini dilakukan melalui pemberian hand sanitizer dan informasi ringkas tentang kebiasaan mencuci tangan yang praktis pada komunitas muslimah Kota Palangka Raya. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangsih mencegah infeksi COVID 19. Kata kunci: COVID 19, Hand Sanitizer, Palangka Raya, Hidup Bersih, Komunitas Muslimah ABSTRACT Corona virus causes serious respiratory infections that can lead to death. Based on data published by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Palangka Raya City is the region with the largest positive confirmed cases of 145 people with 8 deaths as of June 5, 2020. The spread of viruses, including the corona virus, is 98% sourced from hands. That is why diligently washing hands can prevent and break the chain of spreading the corona virus. If soap and running water are not available, a hand sanitizer can be used as recommended by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Based on this, activities to promote the use of hand sanitizers need to be carried out. This activity that has been carried out is carried out through the provision of hand sanitizers and brief information about practical hand washing habits in the Muslim community of Palangka Raya City. Abstract

Teknologi pemisahan gas telah banyak dilakukan menggunakan membran. Mixed matrix membran (MMMs) telah banyak dikembangkan dengan mengkombinasikan polimer organik dan filler anorganik. Pemisahan gas dengan mixed matrix membrane telah banyak dikembangkan dan menghasilkan kinerja yang sangat baik. Pada pemisahan gas CO 2 /CH 4, satu hal yang diutamakan dan diperhatikan adalah permeabilitas yang tinggi. Umumnya semakin tinggi permeabilitas suatu gas dalam membran, maka semakin rendah pula selektivitasnya dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Beberapa filler yang baik digunakan untuk mixed matrix membrane yaitu dengan filler material silika, nanopartikel NiO, grafena oksida dan metal organic frameworks (MOF).Kata Kunci: Mixed matrix membrane, pemisahan gas

Abstract

Peat is a wetland region in Indonesia with a very high water storage capacity. However, the amount of humic compounds obtained from the accumulation of organic substances in peat makes the water unable to be used for daily purposes. Peat water treatment with several methods has been carried out, such as coagulation, electrocoagulation, flocculation, and filtration. However, the result of clumping or filtering in such a way raises new environmental problems. One method which effective and efficient used in peat water treatment is photocatalytic. Several materials based-semiconductor was developed as a photocatalyst, another modification of photocatalyst is combining the adsorbent as a porous supporting photocatalyst which can improve its performance.

Abstract

Indonesia has the largest distribution of peatlands worldwide and is spread over Sumatra, Kalimantan, and Papua islands. Peatland is one of the land resources with a hydrological function and can store water in the form of peatwater. Peatwater is brownish-red due to high dissolved organic matter, especially in the form of humic acid and its derivatives, high organic matter content, low pH, and low cation content. Peatwater is classified as polluted water, unsuitable for consumption, and cannot be used directly as drinking, bathing, or washing water. The Mixed Matrix Membrane Fabrication method is expected to be used for peatwater purification by adding silica filler from rice husk ash. Rice husk has a high silica filler content of >90%. The higher the silica level, the better the material absorbs harmful chemical compounds in peatwater, one of which is humic acid.

Abstract

Baterai Lithium-ion (baterai Li-ion or LIB) merupakan baterai isi ulang yang telah menarik banyak perhatian sebagai sumber daya yang sangat menjanjikan karena memiliki kepadatan daya dan energi yang sangat baik, sehingga memiliki kemampuan pengisian daya yang stabil dan berbiaya rendah. Baterai Li-ion banyak digunakan pada kendaraan listrik, perangkat elektronik portabel, industri militer, dan lain sebagainya. Hingga saat ini, penelitian untuk mengembangkan teknologi baterai Li-ion terus dilakukan, yang berfokus pada kepadatan energi, daya tahan, biaya, dan keselamatan intrinsik. Bahan elektroda dengan konduktivitas ionik dan elektronik yang tinggi diperlukan untuk baterai Li-ion isi ulang dengan kepadatan energi yang besar. Salah satu material yang dapat diaplikasikan sebagai bahan elektroda adalah perovskit. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, bahan perovskit (rumus umum ABO3) telah menerima banyak perhatian untuk kristal kubik sederhana dan sifat fisik beragam yang memungkinkan penggunaannya dalam berbagai teknologi. Sifat fisik dan kimia yang sangat baik dari perovskit membuatnya cocok untuk berbagai aplikasi, khususnya sebagai material untuk baterai Li-ion.

Abstract

Lithium-ion battery (Li-ion battery or LIB) has gained significant attention as a highly promising power source. It offers excellent energy and power density profiles, along with other desirable properties such as no memory effect and long-lasting power capabilities. This has made Li-ion battery technology highly sought after in the energy industry and electronic devices. Perovskite materials have emerged as one of the non-precious metal-based materials that have attracted considerable interest in recent decades. Perovskites are highly regarded due to their remarkable properties and their potential applications in electrochemical energy devices. They possess excellent physical and chemical characteristics that make them suitable for use as electrode materials in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
