Abstract

This study aims to examine how much influence motivational factors have on the work of temporary teachers at State Vocational Schools in Sumbawa Regency. This research is a causal associative research using a quantitative approach. The motivational factors that will be examined consist of education, salary, gender, culture, social status and responsibility as independent variables, while teacher performance is not fixed in Sumbawa Regency as the dependent variable. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained from primary sources, namely all non-permanent teachers at various State Vocational Schools in Sumbawa Regency, totaling 30 respondents. researchers used questionnaires as primary data collection instruments and studied using techniques that included simple linear regression analysis, individual parameter hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous parameter hypothesis testing (F test), and determinant coefficient test (R2). The results of this study indicate that education, salary, gender, culture, social status and responsibility have a positive and significant effect on the performance of temporary teachers in Sumbawa District, either partially or simultaneously. The degree of influence of education, salary, gender, culture, social status and responsibility on the performance of non-permanent teachers in Sumbawa Regency is 82.5%, while the remaining 17.5% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

This The neglect of the principles of Good Corporate Governance in all aspects of the life of the nation and state is one of the most fundamental factors that triggers the occurrence of a multi-dimensional crisis in Indonesia. To achieve maximum corporate value, management and shareholders are expected to be able to synergize to realize good corporate governance. This study aims to analyze good corporate governance on earnings management in Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The quantitative approach becomes a research method with secondary data as a source of research data obtained by researchers indirectly through intermediary media. Internal data collection techniques are literature studies or the use of documents as secondary data sources in quantitative research. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. Descriptive statistics aim to provide a summary of the data sample and do not use the data to make conclusions on the population. The results show that the Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred in the world has also affected the investment world in Indonesia. Since the Covid-19 case, the trend of the Composite Stock Price Index has decreased. Fluctuations in the capital market affect people's behavior in investing because analyzing the capital market is not just looking at numbers, but also looking at the behavioral financial or economic aspects of investors' behavior. Percentage Change in Public Consumption of the 5 highest consumer goods are health products, food ingredients, credit or data packages, ready-to-eat food and beverages, the 3 consumption goods are the outputs of companies in the consumer goods industry sector. Good corporate governance is an important component of a company's lasting success.

Abstract

To evaluate the internal control system for the collection of market levies, the Sumbawa Regency government cooperates with several agencies such as the Department of Transportation, the Department of Cooperatives, Industry and Trade, the Regional Finance and Revenue Management Agency and Bank Rakyat Indonesia with the aim of maximizing Regional Original Income through E-Retribution and avoiding budget leakage and assist the government in accurate economic planning and increase the circulation of money so that it is faster. This study uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results show that the implementation of E-Retribution can make it easier for traders to pay market fees and can solve problems in managing user fees manually, because E-Retribution can be more effective, efficient and more transparent and accountable in increasing Regional Original Income.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of the Rural Agribusiness Development (PUAP) program on farmers' income in Sumbawa Regency. This research is a comparative research conducted to compare the income of farmers in Sumbawa Regency before and after receiving PUAP assistance. The population in this study were all farmers in Sumbawa Regency who received PUAP program assistance, totaling 100 people so that the entire population would be taken as a sample. Data collection was carried out using a structured interview technique using a list of questions that had been prepared by the researcher. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out using comparative analysis techniques with the two-average difference test approach which included paired samples statistics test, paired samples correlations test, and paired samples test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the income level of farmers in Sumbawa Regency before and after the PUAP program. After the PUAP program, the average amount of income earned by farmers in Sumbawa Regency has increased compared to before the PUAP program. Thus, the PUAP program has a positive impact on the income of farmers in Sumbawa Regency. That is, the greater the PUAP program assistance received by farmers, the income earned by farmers will also increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the economic impact on the welfare of the community around the Whale Shark area in the village of Labuhan Jambu. The current condition of the movement of the tourism industry in Labuhan Jambu Village is still not optimal. In addition to weak promotion, there are limited tourism support facilities and limited quality of human resources in managing tourism. The research method uses a quantitative descriptive approach. Source of data consists of secondary data and primary data. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study uses structural equation modeling analysis. The results of the study indicate that there is no direct influence felt by the community as a whole from the existence of Whale Shark ecotourism on the community's economy and the welfare of the surrounding community. The direct influence is only felt by chart owners and operators of Whale Shark ecotourism, that chart owners and operators who deal directly with tourists who visit Whale Shark tours in the village of Labuhan Jambu. For tourists who rarely go ashore, the route used is the sea route. The tourists only stop for 1 to 2 hours to see the Whale Shark ecotourism, after which the tourists go straight to the next tourist spot, namely Komodo Island. This makes the community, especially business actors, not get a significant impact from Whale Shark ecotourism.

Abstract

This study aims to know the effect of celebrity endorser and brand image on purchasing decisions of Scarlett Whitening in Sumbawa Besar. The type of this study was associative study. The type of data used is quantitative obtained from primary sources. Total of population in this study was 110. The sampling technique used a saturated sample, thus the number of samples in this study was 110 people. The method used to collect data is using a questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis techniques, partial hypothesis testing (t test), simultaneous hypothesis testing (F test), and coefficient of determination test (R2). The results of this study showed that the celebrity endorsers and brand image had a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of Scarlett Whitening in Sumbawa Besar, both partially and simultaneously. the percentage effect of celebrity endorsers and brand image on the purchasing decision of Scarlett Whitening in Sumbawa Besar is 50.7%, while the remaining 49.3% is influenced by other variables outside of this study, such as product factors and cultural factors. Product factors consist of psychological factors, social factors and business atmosphere factors, while cultural factors consist of cultural factors, price factors and promotion factors.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the factors that influence a person's success. Motivation can serve as a driving force for achieving good results. This activity aims to increase the motivation of students or students to continue their education at the university level. Awareness and self-confidence are the keys to self-motivation. The dominant problem that often arises among students is feeling that they are not ready to continue on to college. The high cost of tuition, the lack of access to universities in providing information on scholarships so that parents are desperate to send their children to the university level. In addition, the emergence of unemployment among the community makes parents feel anxious about sending their children to school. The purpose of this activity is to increase the motivation of students to continue their studies at the university level. Through the lecture method, discussions and interviews with the Principal, Teachers, and Students at the School this activity has received a good response so that it broadens and facilitates their information about education. This activity has been running smoothly and there is a spirit of enthusiasm from the students to want to continue their studies in college. In the future, this activity will continue to be improved by holding outreach for parents to open their horizons and make parents aware of the importance of education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy in increasing the competitiveness of traditional markets in Sumbawa Regency using SWOT analysis. The type of research used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The type of data used by researchers in this study is qualitative obtained directly from research informants. The informants in this study were all parties directly involved in the management of the Brang Biji traditional market, consisting of the Head of the Cooperative and MSME Services in Sumbawa Regency, market managers and traders at the Brang Biji traditional market. The primary data used in this study was collected using a structured interview method to be studied using a SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that the SWOT analysis in increasing the competitiveness of the Brang Biji traditional market is in quadrant I. The strategy that can be applied in this condition is to support aggressive policies (growth oriented strategy). There are four alternative strategies generated through SWOT analysis to increase the competitiveness of the Brang Biji traditional market, namely the SO strategy which is carried out by utilizing existing strengths and opportunities, the ST strategy which is carried out by utilizing strengths to overcome the threats faced, the WO strategy which is carried out by minimizing weaknesses to be able to take advantage of opportunities, and WT strategies that are carried out by minimizing weaknesses and threats.

Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan sosialisasi adalah untuk memperkuat strategi marketing dengan mempertahankan nilai budaya yakni menggunakan sumber air “tirta mumbul” sebagai daya tarik yang bernilai jual dengan menyusun strategi marketing yaitu menjamin kualitas, kuantitas dan kontinuitas ketersediaan air bersih. Kegiatan dilaksanakan secara “daring” pada Perusahaan Air Minum Yeh Buleleng di Kabupaten Buleleng, Singaraja, Bali, pada bulan Mei 2021. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan sosialisasi yaitu ceramah “daring” melalui aplikasi Zoom. Peserta diberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang strategi marketing untuk keberlanjutan usaha di masa Covid-19. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuan terkait strategi marketing dalam upaya mempertahankan usaha, mengembangkan usaha dan memperbaiki kualitas dan kuantitas. Penguatan strategi marketing; Promosi, Tingkat Kompetitor, Sarana dan Prasarana serta Kompetensi Karyawan. Penguatan Marketing Manajer; Memperluas Pangsa Pasar, Meningkatkan Kualitas dan Mutu Layanan serta Meningkatkan Loyalitas Konsumen.

Abstract

Pandemi yang melanda menyebabkan eonomi global mengalami penurunan, UMKM atau pelaku usaha yang menjadi salah satu komponen bisnis yang terkenan imbasnya. Supaya dapat bertahan atau berkembang, pelaku usaha harus dapat beradaptasi dengan situasi.Pentingnya manajemen bisnis dalam meminimalisir masalah UMKM.Kegiataan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi kepadaa maahasiswa yang memiliki usaha untuk tetap eksis mengembangkan usahanya melalui inovasi.Mengajak enterperenur muda untuk kreatif dan inovatif dalam mengembangkan produknya.Metode sosialisasi, wawancara, diskusi dan pendampingan dapat memberikan hasil melalui peningkatan informasi dan pengalaman para mahasiswa, pelaku usaha, akademisi serta masyarakat terhadap startegi manajemen bisnis dalam meningkatkan eksistensi entrepreneur di masa pandemi.Peran penguatan tata kelola manajemen melalui bidang pemasaran, SDM, keuangan dan operasional merupakan wujud efektivitas strategi pengembangan usaha.Oleh karena itu, kegiatan yang dilakukan di Sumbawa baik daring maupun offline ini di masa pandemic oleh pelaku usaha atau masyarakat sangat antusias dalam meningkatkan kemampuan dan ketrampilan mereka untuk tetap bersemangat dalam berwirausaha.
